I have all the symptoms that just recently appeared. I have not been diagnosed with fibromyalgia yet... I don't eat a lot of sugar. I eat healthy and always drink lots of water. I walk regularly. I don't understand why these symptoms started
I made lifestyle adjustments that really helps me so that I don’t flare up so regularly. I started doing yoga daily (on off days really slow and a restorative practice), adopted a Mediterranean diet, started taking proper care of my mental health and go to physio when I need to. As I understand it, it’s different for everyone and you have to find what works for you. For me accepting each day as it comes is key and making sure your family and friends understand some days you will need a lot of support. ❤ Self care, self love and acceptance on the day you can barely make it up the stairs. Enjoying the day you can move with ease. Listening to your body and resting when you need to. This is what works for me and I call it my “medicine”. ❤
I can’t believe how young you all are, I’m so sorry. I was recently diagnosed at 76 I’ve had it for over 10 years, as we all know it’s very hard to diagnose. My pain was always put down to old back and knee injury that I’d received many years ago, along with sciatica. It’s a horrid illness, and the pain is with you every day. When I think of young people, and kids with this, it makes me very sad. 😔 Take care every one, be kind to your self.💕
I am 31 and I just have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia. With males it's less as common. I have lots of the same issues. How easy my body gets sore, I get very fatigued. Just doing normal activities. I get what I call ,tired headaches. And some days just feel like I am in a fog, and can't think the best. Not everyday is like this, but when I do feel good. It's easy to overdo things to make up for lost time.
Basically you go through all kinds of blood test. And when the doctors can't figure it out ,and you have the same symptoms. For a while. Finally they will agree. If you have fibromyalgia. There is no definitive test for fibromyalgia. It's a long drawn out process. I hope you don't have it, and you get better. Being healthy is a true blessing!
One solution I’ve found effective for fibromyalgia and a ton of other conditions is Bemer vascular therapy. I’ve been distributing medical devices for 15 years and this is the first I’ve seen that helps at the root level, the blood flow and toxin elimination. Eating right can help eliminate toxic buildup, however. If you don’t want to stop eating the foods you love, increasing blood flow and lymphatic draining by 30% will do the same. PEMF technology is incredible, it’s Star Trek healing L😆L Albert Einstein said "Future Medicine will be the Medicine of Frequencies" This quote is ringing through loudly now with Radiation therapy, X-ray machines, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) PET and CT scans, and ultrasound have all become commonplace and all fundamentally harness the power of different types of waves and their specific frequencies that occur in nature. Bemer has been studied extensively and found to increase the ATP of the cells by 20%, creating energy at the source of the cells mitochondria itself, no need for coffee, drugs, or anything else. I've been in denial for so many years. I have just finally accepted that i have to live with this for as long as it takes. I'm searching for the best way to live with it.
I know how it is. I hurt all the time. My family just don't understand the pain I'm in. My husband has been here for me. The doctors don't seem to help at all. I'm feeling hopeless at times.
laughter and taking the piss helps.... out of yourself....out of everything and everybody else....view it as something OTHER than YOU.... if you see it as part of YOURSELF - you are kind of connecting up to it.... had FIBRO since 1997....one day at a time....
i’m 20 years old and have been dealing with increasingly worsening symptoms of fibromyalgia since i was 4-5. i was misdiagnosed in my home country and continued to be misdiagnosed in the US until i met with a new PCP who said my x-rays from 5 years ago did not show the other condition. he and my specialist are 90% sure i have fibro, and i’m hoping that this is finally it. a diagnosis is the beginning to make this bearable
Thank you for this🫶🏽 Praying for everyone fighting the good fight against this illness🙏🏽 We’re worth the fight💪🏽 I’m believing the Lord for my healing, until then, I will live life to the fullest within my limits🙆🏽♀️✨
Thank You for sharing I have been dealing with this since 2014 and I really think had it a long time before then. I do talk with my family about it because I always get negative comments whenever i do.
I'm suspecting I have it, it's in my family after all. I feel so seen hearing this, especially when the lady mentioned the shower. Such a small task yet it feels like climbing a mountain.
This worked in 2 days!!!!!!! (I suffered 7 hellish years.) Magnesium L Threonate (must be that specific magnesium), Benfotiamine (type of B1), Vitamin B6 and Vitamin D3. No Rx needed...all supplements. It helped my sister in law too. Pain levels went from an 8 out of 10 to a level 2 out of 10.
Hi. My name is James and I have had fibromyalgia since 2015!! My body is in chronic pain all the time!! It’s so hard to live with it and I feel like giving up!! I have had it since I was in my 30s. I’m 45 now!! The doctors and hospitals keep telling me nothing is wrong with me and that I’m crazy and making things up and that it’s all in my head!!! I’M NOT CRAZY!!! I KNOW HOW I FEEL!! It takes all I have just to make it through work each day!! The pain is excruciating!! 😢😭
Hi James, I’ve had fibro since about 2014 and it is hell most days. I can no longer imagine growing old, I am struggling to take the 2 flights of stairs at work and it scares me. Just wanted you to know you’re not alone. ❤ Michelle
Fibromyalgia is debilitating everyday can be different with your whole body. I have had fibromyalgia basically all my life. The pain started in my early teens and l am 65 now l was diagnosed with it in my 30s, l am so warn out with the pain and fatigue from it. I also have a lot of other debilitating illnesses as well life has always been such a challenge but l am an extremely resilient person and do try fighting it but does wear me down but l always try to do as much as l can in my day. You will never win or beat it. You just have to live with it. And faking being ok is part of it when you really are in so much pain. Fibromyalgia affects everything in your whole body it can be in different areas or the whole of your body it’s exhausting. I have Botox injections for my bladder. And have just found out that my asophagus when it cramps up is the fibromyalgia doing it the pain and cramping from this stays for half a day or more and the it is so sore from the cramping for days after because cramps hang on for so long and try to swallow hurts just tiny swallows and also burns in your throat and the chest pain and cramps these attacks when they happen l am so fatigued after them. These attacks can happen at anytime eating food or not drinking a drink or not it’s fibromyalgia that does this. It’s not my heart even though l do have a defibrillator in because l have an enlarged left atrium it’s not my heart that does this l have been checked for everything you can imagine. On top of all that l have both arthritises a large hiatus hernia looped over it’s self, l also suffer from diverticulitis, fluid retention, Gastric Asophagus reflux, thrombosis, depression, hyperthyroidism, iron deficiency l loose iron, l have lots of blood tests regularly to check everything am on lots of medications have lots of allergies. I really am so over my body. My kidneys also get checked regularly because medication can effect them, I am under specialist all that’s wrong with me. Medical cannabis works but it’s far too expensive.
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia at 24. Working as a construction worker since 19yrs old I feel I had banged up my body. Had injuries i probably should’ve taken care of after it happened instead of working through the pain. But even before the diagnosis in my medical records it was just myalgia. And I was brushed off for years until I properly diagnosed. When I became 27 I came out pregnant and more and more I was experiencing flare up and just feeling horrible throughout the pregnancy. I’ve never had a day since without feeling flared up. I’m 42 now. I understood when she said no matter how ambitious or productive you are the body wants to do its own thing. I feel my fibrofog has gotten in the middle of my confidence in the workforce . Especially feeling irresponsible to keep a stable job. It can mess with my mind . Therefore causing anxiety and depression. I wish every single day that I’d wake up a brand new person. But I do also have nerves damage on my head and face called TN so if it’s not one thing it’s another. A headache is normal for me daily. But as long as it doesn’t get excruciating in pain I just deal with it. I’d love to find myself again …
I hope you ladies have a good job , my mother worked two jobs for 15-20 years she now has her business for cleaning houses but she kept working so she could work up to get her papers because she was illegal she cleans houses for a living and it’s very back breaking work 🥺 my mother comes home everyday with great pain doctor said she shouldn’t work anymore she has fiber myalgia and arthritis 😣 , I’m trying to work up and get a good spot where I could send me mother to our home country so she can retire and never have to work a day again , I hope the same is done for all you ladies who have it
I am 60 years old, I was diagnosed when I was 25 years old. It has been a rough road, I changed my diet & exersized regularly & was doing pretty good. I was a spitfire when I was younger & I try to help others if I can physically do it. I made the mistake of trying to help a person that was in a hoarding situation. I tried to go in & help but it was so bad it was unbelievable. Rat fecies everywhere & the garbage was all over, I went into the environment 3 times & after that my health went down hill so bad it is just scarry. All the pain & aches everywhere came back. My doctor put me on methaline blue to try to help my body get rid of the toxins but I am still suffering. Hopefully I can get back to where I was. It really scared me I did not realize ypur environment can effect you so much. Be careful all my fellow sufferers because your environment really effect you.
I believe I've had fibromyalgia since I was about 16. I went outside in the freezing cold wearing not alot... And ever since then I've experienced an increase of pain in areas like my knees, back, shoulders, elbows, wrists and ankles. In the winter I get stiff and I become very slow. I did get diagnosed in 2016 with Raynaud's as well. So whether that has connections to my pain, I'm unsure. I have had so many blood tests and they all come back negative and clear. So I've been lost and without a diagnosis for years. I have 2 kids now and my symptoms have become the worst they've ever been.
I suffer with it from my early twenties, but like all things in life it is getting worse in your old age ( 74 ) i feel brain fog ( depression) for years also.Join pain feet needles and burning, irritation, etc. Etc,had a diagnosis about twenty years ago but no help ...just take over the counter stuff as needed! 😢😊
I'm 29 years old I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia 3 years ago. I had a dramatic emergency C section with my second baby and this was enough to trigger fibromyalgia. When it first started I thought I was dying, it was absolutely unbearable and I had thoughts on ending my own life. Now it's under control but whenever there is something going on in my body like infection, stomach bug, cold etc then the fibromyalgia flares up again.
I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2017, my symptoms had been going on for a good 10 years or more. I’m currently 48, about to be 49. This illness robs you of a decent life. It’s horrible, I’ve also got rheumatoid arthritis and it’s so painful, I don’t have any pain free days , they don’t exist.
Hi ladies I so hear what your saying. I have had fibromyalgia for 14 years, indeed it got so bad once I had to leave my academic job. I did recover and took another academic job,. However, I have been in a fibromyalgia flare since having covid in March 2023, and it's really bad now. I can't lie down to sleep because the moment I do my background pain goes absolutely bonkers and forces me to get up. My brain is so tired I can't really think anymore and due to the absolute lack of sleep and pain every minute of every day I can barely achieve 5hrs work a day. I am so exhausted 😩 by this current flare and don't know where to turn to for help. I know this flare will one day subside, but when?
Hi, can I ask? Are you married? If yes, how do you deal with this. (I have fibro and I fear that I will not be able to manage my family well and make their life difficult with me)
@othman-ux8tn Hi there. Yes I am married and my wife is absolutely amazing and it her that makes the difference. Life is really difficult and this illness has cost us a fortune in lost income and direct expenses. But together we have found a way forward. I do work but will be retiring early and do worry about finances. The main thing is keep trying every day to be positive and I find gentle exercise very important. Also sleep and don't be afraid to ask for sleeping tablets. I also go to a chiropractor for cervical adjustments.
The best thing that you can do when you get out of bed in the morning is lay in a very hot tub as hot as you can stand it with a bubble spa mat made by HoMedics and also a Conair massager that would sit on the side of the tub that will blow out water towards the front of your body and is electric and adjustable. Lay in the tub for 25 minutes. I have had fibromyalgia since around 1991. I have been on medication also, this tub bath is the best thing that I have used for years. Please pass this on to everyone. I am 63 years old now and would not be able to go anywhere without this bath. Also make sure you have a vinyl blow up pillow to use for comfort in the bath.
I'm so frustrated and lost with this diagnosis. I don't know what to do anymore. Edit: I think I got it from a near death experience because of an ectopic pregnancy.

I've had fibro for approximately 30 years im now 80 yrs old . Normally i can handle the pain but what really gets me is the fibro fog not being able to concentrate, loosing words in the middle of a conversation and racing thoughts like 50 thoughts a minute . HELP
I've been in terrible pain going on day 8 I've been to the hospital 5 times in one week and they did bloodwork x rays ultra sound and nothing is showing up but my legs, hands , arms ,neck , everything hurts so bad. I'm having trouble walking and this is exhausting. The Dr's say it sounds like a autoimmune disease but they don't know what one so I'm being sent to a specialist but I can't get in to see them for over a month. I don't understand how people can live with this. On top of all this the hospital won't give me anything stronger than Toradol for pain. I feel like I'm not going to make it. Someone please tell me this gets better ?
how do I know for sure if I have fibromyalgia or not? Doctor diagnosed me with it today, but its so vague, its hard to really accept. I dont have any test results or metrics to prove I have it or otherwise
I find out I got that 2019 but the doctor said I had it longer but I got worse I can't walk it's so painful noone understand definitely people that don't understand it I'm on strong painkillers but don't always work I wanted ask want sort exercise can I do but on my bed as I can't stand my leg start shaking n pain me I keep get infection too it's really upsetting depressing I Cnt sleep too 😭 sorry to ask if anyone can help please be grateful

Let's get one thing straight: you love your fibromyalgia, most of it anyway. You use it admirably to feel sorry for yourself and to get attention for yourself. And on the few occasions you haven't loved it, it's only because it's gone too far, further than you ever thought when you created it. If you want to overcome your own mind, yoga and meditation.

As I understand it, it’s different for everyone and you have to find what works for you. For me accepting each day as it comes is key and making sure your family and friends understand some days you will need a lot of support. ❤
Self care, self love and acceptance on the day you can barely make it up the stairs. Enjoying the day you can move with ease. Listening to your body and resting when you need to. This is what works for me and I call it my “medicine”. ❤
thank you for saying it differs for everyone, very happy you found out what works. :)

I seriously think I developed it from Covid. How do I get a diagnosis?

Thank you, it helps me so much to know I’m not alone in this.

had FIBRO since 1997....one day at a time....
i’m 20 years old and have been dealing with increasingly worsening symptoms of fibromyalgia since i was 4-5. i was misdiagnosed in my home country and continued to be misdiagnosed in the US until i met with a new PCP who said my x-rays from 5 years ago did not show the other condition. he and my specialist are 90% sure i have fibro, and i’m hoping that this is finally it. a diagnosis is the beginning to make this bearable

I'm suspecting I have it, it's in my family after all. I feel so seen hearing this, especially when the lady mentioned the shower. Such a small task yet it feels like climbing a mountain.
Yes it’s so difficult to do the things you used to take for granted
This worked in 2 days!!!!!!! (I suffered 7 hellish years.) Magnesium L Threonate (must be that specific magnesium), Benfotiamine (type of B1), Vitamin B6 and Vitamin D3. No Rx needed...all supplements. It helped my sister in law too. Pain levels went from an 8 out of 10 to a level 2 out of 10.
I’m gonna try this. I will let you know if it works for me who’s been surfing since 2005
I have been diagnosed recently I can relate to you guys thanks for sharing
These are exactly correct. I have this, too.

Yall described it perfectly
this was very validating. thank you. ♡
thankyou ladies for your advice 🎉❤
Me too. I don’t know anymore
I can soooo much relate to this!

A rheumatologist is the best doctor to go to to pinpoint the source of your pain. KSM treatment is very helpful if you haven’t tried that. 💔😢🙏

I have fibro
I know it's a predominantly a condition that affects women, but men also suffer, as I do very rarely see men in these types of videos.
I have no help or support whatsoever. Not enough indigenous English to fill a vid on this? Shameful!
