- Hidden in plan sight in the depths of Salt Lake City, lies an incredible collection of one of the greatest adventure vehicles of all time: the Toyota Land Cruiser. A collection of private vehicles, donations, and vehicles of friends of museum founder Greg Miller, we're claiming it as the best Land Cruiser museum in the U.S. Larry investigates.

I think I have to catch a flight to the states just to visit this museum! 🤤
Come to Australia, 80s and 100s are dirt cheap, they run like beasts and parts are easy to find. Solid axle is such a smooth drive. Love my 105 daily
@@concreteshitstains you can pick a decent one up for $5k Australian dollars. If you ever get the chance here, I highly reccomend you do a tour in one. Don't need much modification to make them capable
Haha yep we've got it good here down under, im rocking a 1987 60 series with a 12ht
@@melias67 love the 60s, square boxy look, strong grill with the white landcruiser logo, leaf sprung all around, totally mechanical so fewer electronics to mess you up in the bush and no airbags, we die like real men
Never knew about the Mega Cruiser before this video... and now *I NEED ONE!*
Agreed!!
Carcaine it is similar to the humvee or hummer, just like the land cruiser which is similar to jeep and even Land Rover!
There are many mega cruisers here in the philippines
My first cruiser, HJ 60. Not shown.
Upgraded to BJ 42 (best car I ever had) 3:02
Now settled on HZJ75 troop carrier. Should last another decade or three. 2:27
Northern Territory Australia 👋
My dad has a 1981 HJ 60 with almost 800k KM on it and it has the original engine
ahhhh land cruisers, such rich history, reliability, durability, and awesomeness..... something jeep will never accomplish
Hey sleepy...jeep is number 1 in the market...yawn
@@chestermill1186 hey dummy, not worldwide... yawn.
@@chestermill1186 Jeep are built by Fiat/Renault absolute junk.
@@moonlighter6 lol...you keep for the high nostalgic price...hipsters pay for...oh yeah take the Toyota dildo out
Soooooo well said!!!! 😂👌
Hi guys. Absolutely love the collection. I've been a Toyota person my whole life including my father who is a retired mechanical engineer. Back in 1995 my father purchased a brand new Landcruiser 80 series blue marlin limited edition number 425 out of 500 and it's sits in his garage today with only around 40000 km. It's the 4.5 petrol engine model and the reason for this is because back then the diesel engine was a non turbo and was very slow.
Getting from Colombia. My dad owns a jf40 since 1995 and still looks perfect and functionality
Land Cruisers are low key the coolest cars together with the E30.
I learned how to drive on a three speed land cruiser. We drove that car everywhere and mostly on sand four wheeling.
It was the most awesome car ever.
Just visited this museum myself (because of this video)! It’s definitely worth the time. Really laid back and tons of unique stuff. Thanks for the heads up Larry!
Brand new 70s series still available in gulf countries.
This guy is awesome with so much knowledge. Sounds very friendly and a place to visit definitely!!! Good job guys!!
I own an FJ Cruiser and have actually been to this museum. It's a Toyota lover's dream come true 😍😃👍
Awesome thank you for sharing
The Vermonter
Usually I buzz right through Salt Lake City on my I-80 cross-country treks, but this is worth stopping for. I drove a 93 Land Cruiser from San Francisco to Ann Arbor, Michigan at a ruinous 10 MPG....damn that Pesky Heater Hose (PPH) Yes, I had to change it after the trip!
Visited a few months ago, such an awesome place, definitely worth the trip.
Simply amazing
My father owns a land cruiser lc200. We live in the Middle East. It’s a 4.5 liter v6 2010 model (in the Middle East spec we also get v6 lc200 landcruisers). He bought it brand new back in 2010 and now has 325000 Km’s on it. Still runs smooth. It still drives like a new car. Very easy to maintain. I know it’ll go for another 325000 Km’s easily. It’s the best car ever. I know that if my dad ever will buy another car it’ll be a land cruiser. I know that if I will ever buy a car, I’ll buy a land cruiser. ❤️❤️
Superb. Thanks.
Love the LC. Can’t wait to purchase one!
This is a great place to visit! And, I just happen to live about 4 miles away.....I think I'll drive my cruiser down to check it the Cruisers!
wonderful collection👌
Toyota makes the best vehicles.
They make immortal cars
They do no doubt
Toyota did, now is another history, pure luxury garbage
My 2004 4Runner has 632,230 mi. and still running strong! 💪 (all original equip)
Scotty would love this museum
wow nice land cruiser collection's
Those mega cruisers are so incredibly rare... there was one somewhat recently in Australia for some seriously high dollar. Very cool, be sick to swap the VDJ into one.
Awesome ! I have never seen so many Toyota's I would love to own.
Great video, Thanks from Down Under
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍thanks for the video
Gorgeous cars
Gotta love being a 105 series owner
Man I'm jealous I'd love to go check them out
4:25 OMFG I actually love it moar than an H1
Come to South Africa too,, the cruiser is the favorite farm and bush vehicle here. You wont believe how many are sold here mate. Its ordinary here
My dream collection
Larrys "That's a wrap" needs a little work, but super cool museum that most people would probably never know off. Thanks for sharing!
pretty cool
Wow this is dope
Qué hermosura!
Wow
he didn't mention the 58 thru 62 i believe had the CJ5 type sloping door. So much cooler than the straight vert door. I am lucky to have a 62, turns alot of heads and lots of waives and thumb up and gas station conversations. Sits on 35s, so it looks fun. and the sloped doors makes it even cooler with the doors off.
Gosh, I love this! I wish Utah was closer to South Africa. I'd love to visit one day...Land Cruisers are about the only thing that keeps Africa properly mobile...and Hiluxes of course!
I learned things!!
Love My 91 LandCruiser... Bad Azzz ... Hope 2 visit 1 day 👊✌
why didnt we get the story on that burnt or rusted out one love to know what happened to her
It’s a one owner fj40 from the recent fires in California.
@@leifbergerson wow thats awsome they put that in a collection
Alberta, Canada in da house
Typical that the most rare vehicle there is from here in Alberta haha
My old man owns a 105 series lancruiser. its like a comfy 80series :)
Nice video 👏
Sweet hair, Larry!
Alberta plate on that mega cruzer the rarest car in there !!!!!!!
My daily drive and work horse is an 1982 HJ47 ute
Love the design of the land cruiser! Not super boxy but just enough to look tough
Nice museum.
There is a old FJ40 tub missing the whole chasis sitting in some guys yard by my house and I've wanted to get it and put the body on my 52 Jeep chasis since I first saw it
What an amazing collection!!!
I own a 1987 LN65 with only 9600 Miles.
The Firetruck has been on standby in a small Austrian Firedepartment in a village close to Vienna. Perfectly maintained, no rust at all.
Who would know for how much I could sell it?
Regards
Franz
Fj cruisers are dope soo cool!!!
That land cruiser 70 is everywhere in Saudi Arabia they depend on it for off roading
Très beau musée
It's the return of Monchichi Larryç
Heaven 🚙 💥⭐🌟🌠
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I want all of that haha
The HJ75 at 7:25 is a unique HJ75 in that it's colour coding on the build plate is 000 - this is a unique code for Toyota vehicles built for the New South Wales Bush Fire Brigade (now known as the New South Wales Rural Fire Service). 000 is also the Australian emergency service phone number like 911 is in the States
Me too Larry... I'll never own all the one's I want :(
I never knew this place existed this is my next vacation spot🤩
Rumor has it that if you ever say Honda in that museum you're burned alive.
Pls do a part two.
I was too exited and was waiting for the land cruiser prado history
Love it how there's no prado because thats a not a real one. I love living in Australia because 70 series are thr best offroader toyota currently builds right now. Sells for alot of money new, Between 60k-90k brand new. Even Toyota hilux are awesome machines
Bandit 3076 there are Prados in the museum they just didn’t show them
No TLC Prado Series?
Land cruisers are the best suv legends
As clean as a dubai collection.
What would be the cheapest on Insurance and to buy??
I wanna see Honda get Hector’s 3 Civics with Spoon engines to put in their museum
Great now im searching for land cruisers for sale
what about prado series?
I'm also a Toyota guy
My dad had one of those Toyotas in Iran.it was a fantastic car , huge space and very powerful.my dad had to sell it because of Iran Iraq war in 1979.A few years later my father & I spotted the car in Tehran , that’s when I saw my father had tears in his eyes. The owner was very happy to see us, and said he loved the car. In my fifties now & my father & I still talk abut the Toyota. We live in London now. Memories are priceless 🥃
alberta representing on the super rare hummer toyota!!!
Did he say the red fire truck is a 62?
6.56 The red car, look like Daihatsu Taft ... Is it sharing platform?
Yes, it shares a lot with the Daihatsu Fourtrak.
Toyota engines and running gear and I think the chassis is Toyota too.
Hands down the best Cruiser museum anywhere in Earth.
Dammmmmmmmm budds u guys a absolutely amazing 😉
U really know your stuff
The 105r lc has a 1hz not a 1fz. No turbo. Just a reliable af straight 6. Mine has 415000km. Solid front axel is awesome offroad. Trust me. I got one. Gday from oz🤙
They came with 1fzfe, and 1hz,
@@Jack_Lange correct iv had a petrol and diesel 105
Ours is a 1FZ
Heard the name for so many years but need ever seen the face. Love your work Larry.

THEY SHOULD MADE THIS KIND OF MUSUEM OF OLD TOYOTAS TO FINLAND
I was really confused for a sec by that Alberta plate

This place is now on my bucket list.
You can still buy a 79 series BRAND NEW in Australia.
For 11teen thousand dollars
Mostly everywhere besides US.
4.5 v8 twin turbo diesel we get here in Australia 🇦🇺 in the lc200 I have 1 and love it
Stock they are 200kw and 650nm torque 😉
Australia is Toyota country.
Where is this museum? I will gladly visit it)
Salt Lake City
Larry Chen is my spirit animal.
Aussie Aussie Aussie
Did you meet cruiser Dan??
My land cruiser should be in there, Im kidding.
ok where is cruiser Dan...the parts Gru....
What`s the story behind the burned shell?
It is a 1973 FJ40 that was lost in the Paradise, CA fires in November 2018.
Amazing collection I’ll just correct one thing the hzj105 was the last true 4wd as it was diesel not petrol and you need one of the fzj from Dubai with big turbos hanging off them
been in heaps of version in oz but shit there some there all right and more :) but ozzie ones the best.................
