Hello Heidi!! 🤗✨✨ Thank you so much!! I had fun making all of these….and they look beautiful in the finished piece! 🌹✨ Have a safe and wonderful Holiday!! It’s been great getting to know you over the years through these demos 🥰 Cheers my Friend!! Robin🎄💫🌹
Thank you so much for all your in making these tutorials for all of us!!! It takes a lot of work and time and glass!! Can we send you Rods we have and can't figure out? With all their full info. You can practice with them and then maybe show me and others how to use them too.
Hi Margaret! 🌹✨ It does take time to put these demos together….but totally worth every minute! 😅 what color rods do you need help with?? Maybe I have some here…let me know! Cheers - Robin ✨✨✨
Wow- once again so amazing. 3 to try- my gold stone is already incased rods , need new ways to use it and this looks yummy. I have learned to warm top of goldstone in kiln to avoid shocking , thank you so very much ❤
The goldstone really shines in these canes, I like the clear canes the best. Looking forward to seeing what you do with them next week. All the best Robin 😊❤
Hi Jirup! 👋🏽😃 Thanks so much! I was really pleased with the gold in these! It does dilute out a bit in the finished piece but I think you will like the way it turned out! 🤗 Hugs to you! Robin🎄💫🌹🌹
That looks amazing! It may sound like a simple question, but how do you clean off your metal punties after they’re done pulling the cane? I’ve seen you use metal in a couple videos, and was curious if you were able to keep the glass from fusing to the mandrel or if you just cut the tip off.
Hello Green! 😃👋🏽 Thank you!!! 🥰 Every time I am done using the metal puntys there are several different ways to clean off the glass… I dip them in the water to get the glass to start cracking …sometimes it will pop right off. Most times I have to use a pliers to ‘bite’ or crush the glass off after it cools ….or striking the glass with a knife on its edge, aiming towards the rubbish bin. …or reheat the glass and dip in water repeatedly. You want to be careful though…putting the glass in the flame can cause it to shatter in the air! So make sure the glass is positioned away from you when you do this. 🌹 Sometimes I have used all of these methods on one punty! 😂 …Whatever it takes!!! 😆✨✨✨ Glad you asked! ✨💫 Cheers- Robin 🌹✨🌹
Hi Melissa! 🌹✨ I have been using the same goldstone rock for years!😂 However, I know that some of the glass sellers like Frantz Art Glass, sell goldstone frit that you can build up into a big piece. I like to buy the big chunks….you can find them online by googling ‘raw goldstone chunks’. I also see them in most rock, gem and mineral shops…they usually have better grade stones. Metaphysical shops usually have it as well! 🤗 Thanks so much for your comment! Cheers- Robin 🌹✨🌹
No problem, Melissa! 🥰🌹 I’m so glad you like the quality of these demos….I got frustrated seeing other online demos from far away, so I’m happy to be able to bring these demos to you all with closer view of the glass! 🤗 Thanks again and Happy Holidays to you!! - Robin 💫🌹
