The ability to lay multiple tiles is in the base game as well, even if you don’t have the dlc. And it is indeed magnificent. No more dreading a large house in need of new siding!
You mentioned how the lighting works in House Flipper. In the settings, there is a setting called ECO lighting. If you uncheck this, the lights will stay on even after you leave the room.

Just in case any one has contact with the devs, the handle that you turn at 14 minutes was the incorrect rotation. Parallel with the pipe means open flow, perpendicular means the flow is closed.
You want clean hay. You don't want hay that's been trod all over and crapped in. And if it's been lying there for a while in a dark damp barn, it's probably moldy. Ew.
Yep, plus wet hay and bedding can cause hoof issues in livestock. So clean, dry hay = healthy hooves as well!
And you can compost the hay with manure and use it to fertilize your crops. So it doesn't necessarily have to be wasted.
This is such an game changer!! I've been wishing I could add new rooms and build houses from scratch!
This is one of my favorite series right now so relaxing, which is exactly what's needed right now.
This new DLC is a real game changer and doesn't just add a lot of new content but gives content people have been looking for to get into the game.
Now it's a lot more than point and click design.

I'm expecting a patch soon for optimization issues and bugs. The new bar cart item is missing a tiny bit of texture over the wheels, stuff like that.

My first subconscious thought watching Wels walk over the cropland in the beginning was "dude, don't trample the farmland. You're going to have to re-hoe it".

I couldn’t figure out how to add the gate with the lock in that “where is Molly” job. Only could do the fence part. Any tips how to do it?
I was able to add the gate over the top of a piece of fence, basically replacing it
You have to build the fence completely first, then add the gate into the fence. That's it .-)
Already played through most of the jobs. Seriously loving qol upgrades.

No, it's lots that have specific challenges like the plastering of the entire lower half of the House after the Flood and similar.

at this point the dlc is unplayable for me :( loaded up the first mission and never peaked above 25fps such a shame
I have a feeling that the whole thing was rushed. They pushed the release date by a month, but I'd be more than happy to wait much longer if it meant a high quality and more optimized DLC with little crunch at the office.
The new DLC makes it so you need 12gb RAM to play. It changes the minimum system requirements because of all the content.

I think that they should only add the new build your own house to exclusively empty plots, otherwise it ruins the point of flipping the house and working with a specific space.
Nah, people like simmers love to demolish lots and build new ones with new views and heights. This an awesome addition and adds hours of playability to different lots.
I can see your point for sure.
Counter argument is that it does also enhance the ability to flip a house and upgrade it to your liking. And adds some more replayability.
Yeah, I just personally don't like it
