“Thank you Casio for making affordable and good watches” ! These words resonate in my mind whenever I look at my 20+ beautiful and affordable Digital, Analog, Ana-Digi Casios including G-Shocks and a Duro !
Love you collection being the realistic everyday collection and introducing some brands that are less heard of! And very familiar accent is a bonus touch :) Glad I found your channel.
Great video! I’m also a beginner enthusiast and I see my tastes ever changing and maturing. I think it is important for people to take their time in the early stages of watch collecting.
First of all, absolutely great video. I like how you talked about every watch you have induvidually, not just like "so here's a watch I bought cuz uh why not" (like many other youtubers do) you had a story to tell about every single watch. Your channel is quite underrated at the moment but I'm sure the numbers will start going up as you put out more quality videos likes this. + point for having a very similar taste in watches with the dress and chronograph piecies as I do :D
Thank you so much for the comment. I genuinely just like to talk about the stories behind each watch. The only problem is getting people to be interested enough to listen :D
Great to hear that there is a story connected to most of your watches. Sentimental value exceeds having high end watches without any story behind it. All the best on your continuous watch journey. Remember, there's always room for one more watch. 😂
Seiko are the brand that kick start the hobby for an awful lot of people A company with true heritage and a fascinating history that their watches just radiate. I've still got my 7S26-0120 purchased in 1999 and at the other end recently bought a Prospex Speedtimer automatic while on a trip to Japan Although my collection is eclectic, Seiko will always remain my favourite brand, although interestingly, is also the most widely hated
Great video! Enjoyed viewing your collection. Please do a video on doing your watch crystal replacement. Would love to see how that goes... as I have wanted to do the same thing but have not been brave enough to do it. Keep up the great work!
Big congrats on a cool collection! You have a great group with a lot of variety. As a guy, my favorites are the Seiko SKX013, the Seiko SNK803, the Timex M79, and the Hamilton chronograph. I also have huge respect for your Tissot PRX. It's a beautiful watch. For me (a guy with a 7.5" wrist size), I would probably go for a 39mm-40mm case size, and a blue or black dial. Enjoy your watches; hope they bring you much enjoyment!
Just found your channel! So glad I did. I love the story of your Seiko SNXS79. Being your wedding watch and all. I’m getting married this year and I’m deciding what I want to wear on the big day. Nice video 🔥
I'm happy to have discovered your channel. I watch a lot of the others (and I like them), but sometimes I get tired of the same old faces and voices. It was nice to get another point of view and a women's at that! I have a few comments on your collection for your consideration. Being a "Tank" lover and a fan of smaller dress watches on women, I think the Casio LTP V007 looks perfect on your wrist. No apologies needed; to my eyes it looks as good or better on your wrist than any of the dress watches in your collection. That mother of pearl dial on the PRX is a beauty! I particularly appreciate your thoughtful comments on the tendency for new collectors to "impulse buy" and "check boxes." I also appreciate your admission that your taste in watches has changed over time and that you have watches that you just don't wear any more. When I first started collecting I was attracted to "divers", but over time I found them too large and too heavy, especially on bracelets. After a flirtation with "fliegers" and "field watches", I found them functional, but plain. Now I find myself more attracted to elegant sports watches and all manner of dress watches. I only wish I still had a job where I could wear a suit everyday!
I am a new female watch enthusiast. I'm only a little over 2 months in and have already purchased 11 watches. My interest began with the horological aspect as I love history but morphed into purchases. Orients, Seikos. I was doing exactly what you said. Trying to check off all the boxes. Field, dive, chronograph, dress. Even quirky with a seagull 1963 which I'll always keep, and if you Vostock's. I've already bought and sold two of them. It's literally crazy how you're taste changes in such a short period of time I'm going to assume especially in the beginning. Due to the horological aspect I'm also beginning to dabble in repair. I think it's time, yes this early on, to set myself at a six watch limit. I don't want to get rid of the vast socks though because I really pick those out second hand got good deals on them and kind of model them the way that I wanted them. Anyway everything you said is true and I literally worn anyone who's just getting in to take it slow, don't feel like you need to have every watch. I'm on the low expense but best for the money category. Choosing pre-owned and a couple years old to get me in the used $200 range which means my watch values are actually ranging from $300 to $550 msrp. I either have to tell myself no purchases in 2025 which I know will be impossible after the last 2 months or just setting a watch in, watch out policy. I'll figure it out but right now I'm really having fun. I don't buy luxury, and have no interest in luxury but more utilitarian and purpose built.
Ashley I can’t believe you don’t have a Garmin in the box. That Hamilton on the Artem loopless stap is perfect. Excellent collection and content thanks for sharing it.
Thank you for sharing your watch journey and collection and it's stories. I'm new to the watch journey and i'm addicted to watch now. It is fun to keep looking for my next watch but there is so many that I like that is affordable ones to get and then of course there are ones that is like way out there and I want to save up for one of those, but definitely don't want to have too many watch either...dilemma lol. I think i got though, telling myself to buy one only when there's some kind of meanings to it. Hopefully no impulsive buy kicks in XD
you convinced me to buy the snxs, i have the silver dial gold accent variant. i love it, its my first automatic coming from casio gshock world. i bought the ssk033 for a christmas gift to myself, cant wait to get it delivered.
You clearly have a thing for white dials, we instantly became friends 😂. Very nice collection, I’ve never liked the PRX but yours with the white waffle dial looks awesome and now i want one.
New subbie here! I always love hearing from fellow female watch enthusiasts. My goal this year is to shift a little bit from handbag collecting to watch collecting (one reason being watches take up less space 😅). I currently own a few Cartier timepieces (and still have one that I haven’t done my unboxing video 😋) but am open to other brands. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to learning more from you. Take care!
I’m a watch collector as well in Malaysia. Consider myself as a beginner and currently looking for Flieger watch lol. Btw, your watch collection is awesome!
Ashley, I’m watching your videos in disorder because I’m a new sub, but as other comments say, I find you very refreshing. On your collection, I have some comments. On the Titus watch, Perhaps you could try to make it work. There’s a trick that you can do if you get your hands on a demagnetizer tool (very cheap on ebay or Ali, even Amazon). You pot the watch without a battery and turn on the tool. You can find videos showing the “how to”. On the Tissot that your mother gifted you, with leather strap, there are some very affordable and great looking vintage style straps on Ali, that will hold up at least the same time as more expensive straps. Love your Seikos, I have other old Seiko 5’s, and I have the SKX013 even as I’m a big dude, but like regular as well as vintage size watches. The SKX013 is a great diver and very manageable in size, I love it. I did three mods on the 013, I changed to a flat sapphire crystal with AR, I bought a very expensive Miltat oyster style bracelet, and while fixing the crooked chapter-ring I took of dial and hands and changed the day-date wheels to a black background (it’s harder to see the day and date, but I like that its more discrete and different). In general, I dig your (and your husbands) taste in watches, and hope to enjoy the older a new content you upload here.
Thanks for the video! In my eyes small watches look the best on your wrist, maybe we will see them more in the future, but I understand if thats is not your current phase of watch collecting journey :)
I also got a gshock myself last Friday. It also happened to be my first gshock and I'm also surprised I got myself one. I guess i needed a break from automatics. Like you, i also got a regular ga2100 casiooak in black, and it has never left my wrist since then.
I had a quartz watch, the battery died, I stopped wearing it, forgot about it, the battery leaked a little and damaged the movement. I replaced the movement. I like your approach. I like the higher end watches (I don't have any) but it's refreshing to see a 'normal' collection.
This is a great collection! I love all these watches and this just shows that you don’t have to have a watchbox full of Rolexes to have a great collection.

I scratched my snxs79 crystal as well but I upgraded the crystal to sapphire and did the mod myself. I was so impressed I then upgraded my blue snxs77 lol. Like you I have also fallen out of love with the Timex and it’s very meh. Going for sale soon I reckon. Great video!
I love this collection. It's so intentional. Nothing is there for no reason. Helll even I look at my small collection and go "Why is this here?" Sometimes.
I had an SKX007. Sold it after 2-3 months. The only regret is that I should have sold it after the price is hiked 😂😂😂 Seeing you keep the SKX is amazed me.
great work! i also having mix collection based on watch category at first. later it turns to love at first sight kind of purchase (impulse). i think watch should be like something you like at first sight. second, third look is like too rational. :)
Hi, Fyi, polywatch will not be able to remove scuffs from Hardlex or mineral crystals. But it is, nevertheless, a good to have in your kit for acrylic lenses. 👍🏼
@ashleytee not that i know of... i think that is why sometimes hardlex is frowned upon by some collectors; it is harder than mineral glass, but it still scratches 😕
Oh, and by the way, great SOTC video... I have the same Timex Q, which I bought on impulse, and it remains my biggest purchase regret. I have not worn it more than 3 times since buying it like almost 2 years ago.
This is a really nice well rounded value for money collection. I love the little stories with each watch. May I humbly suggest adding an Orient and a Citizen. They make excellent value for money watches. 😀
@@ashleytee Ah good point. Then I can recommend the Kuoe Kyoto brand. They make a very nice range of 35mm automatic mechanical watches. I have a Kuoe 90-007 with white dial but they have a wide range of dial styles and watch bands/bracelets.
How do you feel about the prx movement having plastic parts for its escapement? There are different tiers of powermatic 80 and the prx has the "lowest" one and is also the only one with plastic parts. That's the only hesistation I have with it.
You bring such a human touch to being a collector. The imperfections really bring collecting down to earth, where the regular people are❤.
Thank you for such a sweet comment 😊
Your passion for watch collecting shines through and that’s refreshing
“Thank you Casio for making affordable and good watches” ! These words resonate in my mind whenever I look at my 20+ beautiful and affordable Digital, Analog, Ana-Digi Casios including G-Shocks and a Duro !
Just found your channel. Love to see 'regular' watch collection
Welcome aboard!
One of the better SOTC videos in the platform that actually shares meaning for each watch! Thank you!
Nice collection! I enjoyed hearing you reflect on each watch. :)
Especially the ones that no longer give that spark. As a watch buyer I love how we share the same feelings
thank you!
Your video quality has gotten so much better. I have the Seiko skx013 in my Sotc too and I love it, I got it for work too lol. New sub.
Thank you, appreciate your feedback and continue to enjoy your skx!
I love it that you have the TISSOT PRX MOP in your collections. ❤❤❤
Thank you so very much for such honest and refreshing watch review. Please keep up with your good work.
Thank you! Will do!
Thank you for sharing!
So happy to see local content creators, all the best! (From sg)
Hello hello!
Love you collection being the realistic everyday collection and introducing some brands that are less heard of! And very familiar accent is a bonus touch :) Glad I found your channel.
Nice collection, just got my first watch recently, and one of your videos helped me. thanks! got the Seiko SRPJ09
Glad I could help!
Nice collection, your content is amazing and very inspiring. Thank you from 🇨🇦
Thanks so much!
Great video!
I’m also a beginner enthusiast and I see my tastes ever changing and maturing. I think it is important for people to take their time in the early stages of watch collecting.
Absolutely!
I like how humble your collection is. And you’re so cute.
Great video for us who love watches regardless of its price value, but because we really are happy and appreciate these pieces!

lovely collection!
Very nice pieces, congratulations. Please keep going.
The "Garmin on our Wedding?" cracked me up?
Hahhaha, I just couldn't accept it.
Keep up the good work!
Thanks, will do!
Thank you for sharing your stories!
Thanks for watching !
Ran across your vid looking for tank alternatives. Love your collection and your taste in keeping variety. Subbed!
Thanks for the sub!
Nice video, refreshing, honest and real.
I appreciate that!
Just discovered your channel and very much enjoyed this video.
Nice collection, I love your picks! 😄
Great to hear that there is a story connected to most of your watches. Sentimental value exceeds having high end watches without any story behind it. All the best on your continuous watch journey. Remember, there's always room for one more watch. 😂
Need to get another watch box! Haha
I love your videos. You are so real, and not at all pretentious.
I try to, hahaha speaking in front of camera is still a bit awkward and challenging at times.
The Casio LTP V007 and the SNXS79 are amazing, I like your style!
Very down to earth SOTC video... Underrated channel!
Btw a quick google search says the chronograph is either a SND309 or SND367
Wow, thanks!

I just did in my latest video. I really hope it can encourage you to try it 🙏 I was scared initially too, but it turns out to be fine !
Good video. Thanks for sharing. Nice personal collection.
Thanks for watching!
Great collection, still need that vario versa! I’ll probably get the purple dial with the white dial.
superb collection

This is like a journey ahaha every watch shows a phase in life and watch collecting ,good luck
Yeah 📈📉📈📉
I love that he gave up his smart watch to marry you. You converted him to horology!
Smart watches are still horology😂
@@merc7paul they are horriblology
Very nice collection :)
all of them are good choices with a purpose beautiful collection
I can’t believe we have such similar tastes. I replaced my snxs crystal with a sapphire one for 25 usd and it brings so much life to it .
It’s such rare to see ladies watch collection that not all luxury watches.

The MOP dial is very VERY subtle. But do take a look at retail, you might like it more
Looks a lot like the dial on my SRPE37 which i love. You have great taste, love the video!

Maybe 🤔 I can totally see where you’re coming from. It’s just difficult to find cool watches in smaller sizes
casio collector happy to see casio in your collection
😁 proud casio owner
I have casio tank too hahaha. It's so great you have that too.
On a side note, as a non native english language speaker myself , I really like your accent. Sounds really pretty.
Wow thank you! You're probably one of the rare ones. I appreciate it
Good collection. Keep on collecting.
That's the plan!
I Really Truley Love tha Tissot 80 PRX Powrmatic.
I also got a gshock myself last Friday. It also happened to be my first gshock and I'm also surprised I got myself one. I guess i needed a break from automatics. Like you, i also got a regular ga2100 casiooak in black, and it has never left my wrist since then.
great collection!
😁😁
I have that same Hamilton Intermatic Chrono mechanical. It’s a gorgeous watch! ❤😊
🙌🙌
I had a quartz watch, the battery died, I stopped wearing it, forgot about it, the battery leaked a little and damaged the movement. I replaced the movement. I like your approach. I like the higher end watches (I don't have any) but it's refreshing to see a 'normal' collection.
Thank you! Yeah I suspected that was what happened with mine too. Thanks again for watching 😁
Thanks for video nice collection 🔥
Thanks for watching!
I gave my wife that Casio "tank" and she loved It. It's a beutiful piece.
This is a great collection! I love all these watches and this just shows that you don’t have to have a watchbox full of Rolexes to have a great collection.
New box! That’s a nice wooden case👌🏻
I think so too!
Your new lighting is nice
Thank you!
Keep up the good work
Thanks, will do!
Polywatch can only work on acrylic and hesalite. It doesn't work on mineral glass. You need a rotary tool like a Dremel to polish mineral glass.
The replacement glass for your Seiko, is it a sapphire glass? Might as well give it the sapphire treatment 🙂
If memory serves, there are 3rd party fans you can attach to your camera to siphon the heat away.
I also saw on TH-cam there are mod kits for the Casioak, replace the indices with lumed indices. That is really cool.
Oh thanks for letting me know about the Polywatch.
And yes it’s sapphire 😊
I already tried with the fans, still not working. I’m using a pretty cold camera
As for the CasiOak mod, maybe one day. For now I want to enjoy for what it is first 😊
I scratched my snxs79 crystal as well but I upgraded the crystal to sapphire and did the mod myself. I was so impressed I then upgraded my blue snxs77 lol. Like you I have also fallen out of love with the Timex and it’s very meh. Going for sale soon I reckon. Great video!
Wow cool! And yeah… timex - 😐😐😐
I imagine the quartz movement in your Titus should be an easy and inexpensive fix. Might as well throw in the Hardlex swap for them to do too.
I love this collection. It's so intentional. Nothing is there for no reason. Helll even I look at my small collection and go "Why is this here?" Sometimes.
Aww thank you so much 💓
Very nice collection, beautiful bride.... Great video! Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Spain
Thank you!!
I had an SKX007. Sold it after 2-3 months. The only regret is that I should have sold it after the price is hiked 😂😂😂
Seeing you keep the SKX is amazed me.
Pleasantly surprised to hear your Malaysian/Singaporean accent :)
Hehe, ya lah, it's very hard to get rid of that local accent lah
great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Starting the review off with a broken quartz then a smashed up Seiko, couldn't help but laugh. God bless 🙏🙏
🤣
great work! i also having mix collection based on watch category at first. later it turns to love at first sight kind of purchase (impulse).
i think watch should be like something you like at first sight. second, third look is like too rational. :)
The TANK is my favorite of the bunch!
I like your watches very nice collection, I just started collecting I have a black Omega Planet ocean and a Casio GWX 5600
For watches with leather straps, always condition the straps with leather conditioner to prevent cracking.
You can consider getting a Seagull for your collection. 6075 is a good choice to start. It costs less than S$100 during discount.
Nice collection! Enjoyed the video. 👍🏻
Thanks for watching!

Ah really? I see, is there anything that can remove scratches for Hardlex?
@ashleytee not that i know of... i think that is why sometimes hardlex is frowned upon by some collectors; it is harder than mineral glass, but it still scratches 😕
Oh, and by the way, great SOTC video... I have the same Timex Q, which I bought on impulse, and it remains my biggest purchase regret. I have not worn it more than 3 times since buying it like almost 2 years ago.
Love the Hamilton
Same here!
This is a really nice well rounded value for money collection. I love the little stories with each watch. May I humbly suggest adding an Orient and a Citizen. They make excellent value for money watches. 😀
I wanted to, with one of the bambino, or even tsuyosa. But they're too big
@@ashleytee Ah good point. Then I can recommend the Kuoe Kyoto brand. They make a very nice range of 35mm automatic mechanical watches. I have a Kuoe 90-007 with white dial but they have a wide range of dial styles and watch bands/bracelets.

The sad thing is I wore a Garmin on my wedding day, and now I can never get rid of it.
YES GARMIN!!!! I cannot hate it anymore
It's ok, the most important is the memory of the day itself 🥰
New subie here! Lovely collection thanks for sharing!!! Looking forward to following your channel :)
Thanks for the sub!! 🫰
I have a Tissot Couturier 39mm looks slightly different than yours. Great watch! It's my dressy option for the office. My daily is a Seiko Monster :-)
