did u run performance or turbo mode?
I have a tuf 2021 and I thought the temperature problem was solved in the tuf 2022 but the Asus tuf is still hot and operating at the maximum allowable temperature.
They fixed their problem (with the grills and lack of airflow) but the AMD 6000 and the 140W 3060 makes it so your are not noticing the improvements. Believe us the performance is better despite having same temperatures. Asus like have top performance without caring too much about thermals (don't worry 90 C is still ok temperature for a CPU).

In these 60 games you tested, did you put a cooler under the laptop? And what was the current room temperature? I am worried as I live in a city with a room temperature of 30-34 °C.
@@SandroneMarionette We always test the laptops as they are delivered form the factory. No cooling pads or anything fancy besides that the manufacturer provided.
All temperature measurements were performed at an ambient temperature of 24-25° C (75.2-77.0° F).

Thank you for your feedback. The device is not suitable for my city with a temperature of 30-34 °C. Although the price is more expensive, I will go for the Asus Zephyrus g15 ga503 model. Your tests are very informative. Testing 60 games is a demanding job. Take care of yourselves.

The GPU is a 140W beast, check the video settings we used. Going to release the longer individual benchmarks soon. It actually has near Lenovo Legion performance (not cooling).

No its not. If ypu want your cpu is mıch cooler you can turn off the oc proccess from somewhere. Ypu can look it up. Makes your cpu gets 4.7 to 3.1 but runs cooler about 10°C

GeForce Experience. We updated the drivers via GeForce Experience. Make sure the laptop is plugged in on performance mode (or highest performing mode) and disable Hybrid mode if available.
Good video. I'm undecided for weeks between ASUS TUF A15 (Ryzen 7 6800H, RTX 3070 8GB) & ASUS rog stix g15 (Ryzen 7 6800h RTX 3060 6GB) the main difference is the card. Which one do you recommend please ?
the extra vram on the 3070 seems future proof, but performance also depends on the TGP available. Do check what the power limit is. If both are the same the 3070 might not be able to perform to it's full potential, maybe even no difference over the 3060.
Go for 3060. If the 3070 variant is not expensive for you buy that, but the TUF chassis does not provide too much cooling, even for the 3060 variant. You might get 20-30 more fps, but if the price is too high like more that 100$ it is not worth.
In both of your TUF F15 and TUF A15 laptop game test..The Ryzen one is showing more temperature ar sometimes crossing 90°.. compared to the intel one..

I'm afraid that AMD lost this generation battle the 12th gen CPUs are clearly faster and more cooler in gaming. AMD 7000 promises a lot of great features, they are also working on a big little architecture themselves.

With what program you recorded videos?
We are using an external capture card (no software). But Nvidia Shadowplay is the best if you want to record. Second to that is OBS.

This is one for sure. The Zephyrus is far more portable, but it provides half the FPS of this laptop.

Depends on what you to do with your laptop. The Legion 5 is better built and has better temperatures, but it has significantly lower performance.

The f15 seems like a great laptop. If you want something with lower temperature you will need to wait for the newer legion .
its fine laptop works that way (itll boost when theres thermal gap)

I have a 2022 A15 with the exact same specs but with a RTX 3070 and QHD display. My CPU (6800h) hits high 80s max. It never breaks 90*c.
I play god or war, for honour and Destiny 2 at max settings @1440p.
I use manual mode and max fans on games. Hard to understand what a few comments on this feed with temps on certain machines.

Cooling pad underneath and prop the rear up. I use two erasers one on each rubber foot. More airflow.

Why can't I get more than 40fps RDR2 ?
Sometimes it goes up to 95 degrees while playing games, but it has no effect on the game. There are no bad smells such as burning, but I'm worried. Do you think it will make a difference if I send it to the service and have the thermal paste renewed?
i have seen that in other reviews also, Its fine i think. After it goes to 95 it quickly drops to 93-90.
@@Suyash_Bajpai i got the solition. u shouldnt use at turbo mode. Im playing games at silent mode while pluged in now. It goes up to 85 degrees maximum. fps difference is 1-2 fps. It doesn't spoil the performance of the game at all.
I would suggest go for a cooling pad and then you can go for thermal paste if you want.

They are significantly lower than last year's model which got 100C. In theory they should be ok even for a few years of usage.

I guess you are right , but the CPU has built in functions that prevent it from getting damaged due to high temperatures. What we don't know is if running at 95C for 3 years or more will damage the CPU.

These results are completeley trash, I have old tuf a15 with 4800h and 1660ti and I have better results. Two generations without any progression? Either this gpu suffers from power delivery or there are some software/driver problems

But I'm willing to bet the 3060 is a Max-Q Version (yes, Nvidia still has those, lol)

The 2022 TUF A15 has a 140W RTX 3060, but because games always evolve or gpu drivers do not optimize games as much there is a small fps difference in some games. You might wanna compare games that are optimized for pc (no console ports). If you were to check our Overwatch fps on the 90W tdp 3060 from the 2021 A15 and the latest A15 there is a huge fps difference 20-80 more fps (about 50 fps average). The 2022 A15 is great, but games are usually very badly optimized.
It is because of windows 11 . I also have suffered this with ASU’s tuf f15 2022 after upgrading to win 11
