Hey, How did you get a good trailing edge finish while still getting the 2" (5mm) overlap as it says in the book, In this video it doesn't look like you did the required 2" (5mm) overlap when fabric cover? Otherwise the laps would still be sticking out of the finishing tape??
Hey? - Hey you; (Hi is nicer) When you say "the Book" you are referring to the German-sourced EASA Manual that shows lots of drawings on how to cover a Jodel Robin, a French Airplane made from Plywood. The instruction were made specifically for that type of airplane. As you are in NZ (my regards to wonderful Waimea) you haven't seen the USA/Canadian instructions yet, those deal specifically with the US types like Pipers, Maules, Stinsons etc... You could email me or call me and I be glad to explain. ...
Hello BetterAircraftFabric, Thanks for your reply, I’m covering a bearhawk and have been going of the ORATEX application manuals & airplane maintenance manual supplement. (ADxC-51-001-AMM Edition 6.3). Is this not the right manual to fellow? It was the one we got supplied when buying the fabric? Any help would be much appreciated. Harrison

That is why I publish a specific BetterAircraftFabric Manual for our customers. There have been too many problems with customers trying to follow that awful manual and so we have our own, proprietary one. Did you notice that crazy 630 degree wrap deal? - We explain that (why you only need it on two airplane types and thus Normally Never Ever! ) Regards, Lars
