    Excellent job on the video...on my Superstol Ailerons i tried wrapping the finish tapes around and over the rear 1/2" tubing to cover both sides with one tape...i found it difficult to get the tape down nice where it went over the rear edge due to the rib bump on the 1/2" tubing...so when i did my flaps i used a tape on each side just like you are showing here...much easier ! And i found once you get used to using the heat gun at a higher temp you get to know quick use at high temp is ok

    I have to try this method on my Stinson ailerons. I got hung up on the tapes after my first aileron was a learning curve.

    Hi thanks for the good quick informative vid. I've been watching oratex from a distance for years, Is it a viable alternative to traditional systems? Does it stay tight over the years or constantly need to be reshrunk like the model aircraft coverings?
