Did anyone notice that at the beginning a fan gave him a necklace. It was the fan where he said “are you afraid of me“ and gave her a kiss. He carried that necklace throughout the whole song. When he went down into the crowd he held it up at one point. So he carried that necklace through the whole song and switched hands with it a few times. It would’ve been so much easier for him just to drop it in the crowd somewhere but he held onto it. He really did appreciate his fans. Plus, hellooooo... sexy AF. :)

Yes, Elvis had issues, but he was the most beautiful soul to ever walk this earth.
When he jumped off the stage his security guys were not expecting that, hotel security also were not ready for that and panicked. He loved his fans and as far as I know no other performer at that time ever did that, Elvis was known for firsts but this first no one was ready for.
No entertainer of his calibre would EVER jump into the audience without a full body guard surrounding them!!! Shows how unbothered he was for himself....he saw himself as a regular person just blessed by god no better no worse....he will never be surpassed! 🥰😍🥵 I would also have gone crazy if he even looked my way let alone kissed me lolol I think people were going a bit crazy but coz he was a known entertainer then they probably expected him to live a long life and would be there to see for a long time....so there was always a 'next time' to see Elvis n get up close....little did anyone know it wasnt sadly to be so now i think we miss him more an wish we couldve seen or been near him....a bit like if someone close dies suddenly, we regret the times we didnt kiss or see them etc We expect them to always be there....like we did with Elvis 😔💞

It was 1966, and I was 9 almost 10 years old. I was sitting on the curb next to the apartment complex we lived in with my best friend/girlfriend Theresa Youngmark. It was not long after my oldest sister Anola took to with her to a Saturday matinees Movie with Elvis Presly in it. It was a Western of the same name, "Love Me tender, that was made the same year his song came out in 1956. Well, it was 10 years later and thus a Sauturday Morning matineee at the Theater. We got in for .25 cents. Anyway, I sang this song to Theresa about a week or so after I saw the movie, while me and Theresa sat on the curb. She is also the first girl I ever kissed. Mind you, she kissed me first. We were in the nurses office, both not feeling good. I knew her, but not really friends with her at the time. Back then, then nurse would make us lay on the cot in the nurses office to check us from time to time to see if we really were sick or just pretending. As we lay their across the room from each other we talked about what I cannot remember, but I do remember her getting up, walking across the room and planting a kiss on my lips. Now I had never been kissed before, but I learned real fast that I liked it, and her. We became best friends for about 2 years until we grew apart. She matured, I did not. OH well, the memory is etched in my mind. My first love.
