Thanks Glenda we are about to be hit with a cyclone here in Australia. Im going to do this to keep my mind off it and look forward to using this in my kitchen when the storm is over.
I’ve remember you talking about dish clothes. I just never thought it would be something I would do. But, honestly after watching the video and falling in love with this yarn. I’m going to try it. This would give me a break from a big project.
Thank you! I love your voice and teaching style! Your finished project is very pretty. Mine turned out well, but my crochet stitches are always so tight. Practice makes perfect! THANK YOU, GLENDA!!
I have gone through all of your tutorials looking for a facecloth tutorial. Is there a reason you don’t do facecloths or would it be the same stitch as dishcloths. Thank you for all you do for us. Haven’t crocheted for 40 years, and your tutorials make it so easy to start again.
What a cheery pick me up. I like the premier cotton for my dish cloths but I like the sugar and lily’s for my hot pads because even though they are both 4 weight the premier is thinner. I like that it doesn’t fade or shrink as bad though. I found a older skein of the premier and it use to be thicker. I like them both for my kitchen projects.😊 The speckled is beautiful. Thank you for doing another beautiful project. ❤ Merry Christmas and happy new year.
Hi, Glenda. I love this pattern for a dishcloth. I had a request. Would you please design a dishcloth with the Waffle Stitch? I bet that would look nice, and the waffle stitch provides a lot of nice texture. I believe you did aStitch Of The Week on the Waffle Stitch a few years ago. These dishcloths are awesome, and I love your content.
Please show how it looks when completely wet. Does it get enlarged and floppy? If so, it might need to be crocheted at a tighter gauge by using a smaller crochet hook. Thank you.
I made this with some leftover cotton yarn that was a size 3, so I added 4 chains to the first row. It came out beautiful. A couple of things: the berries weren’t showing up with that thinner yarn so I added one more chain to the berry stitch. I did have a problem with the Berry stitch trying to pop through to the wrong side though when I did the follow up sc. it was OK because I could easily move it back to the correct side when I did the stitch or just do it in the follow up row, but I was wondering if there is anything I could do to avoid this. I’d rather just keep my momentum going. Or, I just might need more practice 😊. I haven’t crocheted in over 12 years and I’m a bit rusty.
I’m going to try making these. I was wondering. Do you have any tutorials on coaster’s? I was thinking that would be something easy and quick to make. Not to mention perfect gift idea. Thank you Glenda.
Hi Glenda….This stitch is so pretty & so is the yarn! Thank you for the tutorial! 😊🧶 How is your Mom doing? Is she still in the hospital? Praying for her and your family!🙏🏻 Have a good evening!😊🧶🦋💜
Glad I watched the technique instead of just listened and followed along because what a chain is was not what was showed during the Berry Stitch. In other words, the verbal instructions did not match what was shown in the video.
I can’t get mine to turn out right. I do the 26 chains, chain one turn my work, work the berry stitch, then when I chain one and turn my work it does not look anything like yours. My cloth turns out backwards. It has a berry stitch on one side and a berry stitch on the other side. I can’t get mine to line up.
I like to use the Hobby Lobby’s I Love My Cotton when I make dish 5:11 cloths. For me it seems like a smoother look.
Love this stitch! Thank you for showing us.
Wishing you a wonderful blessed day/night 🙏🏻🤗💝

Hi, you can use these clothes as either dish rags or facecloths. Works both ways ways… 🌺

Glenda, Thank You. Love from Ontario, Canada ❤❤❤
Would you mind telling me where you post your videos from?
Nice ❤
Cool ❤
Close caption, please. Love the dish cloths
Soory I forgot to click the close caption option it is on now :)
I tried, but it didn't look good with varigated. I couldn't see the Berries. I'll try again on a pretty solid color.
Another ‘to do’. ❤
Hi Glenda….This stitch is so pretty & so is the yarn! Thank you for the tutorial! 😊🧶

I cant seem to make the berry stitch raise up. What am i doing wrong
Can't figure out why, but by the second row of sc, my "berries" had disappeared. You couldn't even tell I'd made them. Bummer.
Once you turn your work for the next round they will be there. They show on one side
Is like red heart, or any brand of yarn works
I can’t get mine to turn out right. I do the 26 chains, chain one turn my work, work the berry stitch, then when I chain one and turn my work it does not look anything like yours. My cloth turns out backwards. It has a berry stitch on one side and a berry stitch on the other side. I can’t get mine to line up.
I recommend slowing the speed way down and start over. I am speaking from experience 😊
Sounds like you missed doing a row of sc across after row of berry stitch
I'm having the same issue. I've retried several times. I think I'm giving up
Where can I find a printed pattern
Is there a written pattern
How come you don't use a slip knot?
I can not get this dish cloth to turn out for some reason
Slow the speed WAY down and try again. Eventually you’ll get it
What size hook
Has a habit of not saying or responding back to you but I have noticed 5.00 mm hook is her favorite hook she uses alot of 5.00 hook in tutorials
She actually tells you a 5mm.
H 5.0 mm
