This is a video in my new Core Concepts series -- designed to provide students and lifelong learners a brief discussion focused on one main concept from a classic philosophical text and thinker.
This Core Concept video focuses on Judith Jarvis Thomson's article "The Trolley Problem", and examines her reframing of the issues and cases in terms of the concept of a right on the parts of the people affected by the choices of the agents in the cases.

Omg thanks i wanna share the trolly problem with my dissociative identity client .. . Ive been using existentialism to help them and another older gentleman I have on my caseload. They're both questioning the point one has ended life questioning the other suicidal... I'm sorry but there's no coping skills for that so I'm helping them find their identity.

End of life* let me expand on this DID is the new term multiple personality disorder. Since they are suicidal but not all of them are in agreement with the decision and summer willing to help and others are staying away as if they are the bystanders, allowing the persecutors to act.

@@rickcreighton9714 Even though Socrates questioned it, Socrates himself said what he believed to be truth. The emphasis Socrates put on the care of one's own soul is one of the proofs of it.
