Man I love your new presentation style… from your last 2 videos it’s been fire 🔥. Please keep being creative. And the car is really good looking and seems fun to drive.
@@bmwblog I am interested in a PHEV since my commute is about 15 miles round trip. But also like fast cars. However, I am not willing to go full EV yet like a Taycan Cross Turismo. The “PHEV fast wagon” list is pretty short.
Interesting take. And exactly what I wanted to explain to some people: some of us prefer some EV driving. I live in Chicago, there is no freaking way I get to push an M5 close to 50% of its limit. Flat roads, traffic and potholes.
As the owner of every model of M5 produced - they have all been evolutions of the previous model. Constantly complaining about the weight given the emission regulations is getting old. It’s the world we live in and we should be thankful this isn’t an inline 6 or fully electric. Enough whining - particularly from media types who can’t afford the car anyway. I’ve driven it and it is a beast.
As a current owner of a BMW and owner of six other BMW‘s in the past (including a 540i wagon), it pains me to say this, but why can’t BMW designers take one field trip over to an Audi store and see how to make a good looking wagon.
Agreed. Loved BMW's wagon performance specs, but look a the disjointed and rather haphazard, disjointed and piecemealed body design. Who in BMW gets discredit for that or where they "fired"?
BMW M5 Touring or Sedan: Which one would you drive?
Touring looks much better, especially with those design proportions
I've always said that: The touring style works better on the 5 Series or M5 design
Am i the only one obsessed with saloons? 😂 but it's probably cause the E39 M5 is the car that made BMW my favorite brand
Nothing wrong with the sedan
The third.. the M5 CS

Thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying the new style. Not easy to always do it considering the time allocated for shoots :)
I’ve got one on the way to replace an RS6. All Hail the Wagon!!
Do you have the avant?
@ yes, replacing an RS6 Avant
Interesting. Any reason why?

@19:37 Statler and Waldorf checking out the car from the middle lane. =)
I’m going to wait about a year or so for the Competition model. But this is one of my dream BMW cars for sure. This will be a custom order for me🎉

The feedback and experience earned with this car will get us a more refine BMW G83 M3 with the 48V mild hybrid engine
Does anyone know what month these are coming to the dealerships?
Production starts this month, so likely around January-Feb
What is the pure EV range without having the engine charge the battery?
We did not test the entire cycle.
Can’t wait for mine to show up next year!
What color did you get?
Hopefully it keeps those yellow turn signals when it comes across the pond. If not. That's my first mod 😅
I'm not sure which one is to the US spec
Dowpipes, high flow intake anf this will skyrocket
I ordered the Sedan, then saw that the Touring is coming soon and switched to the Touring 😅
Good choice :) Color?
@ i was really struggling with the color choices, at the end I chose Isle of Man green and everything else black, including the interior…

No one argues that the RS6 Avant is good looking
Ahhhh shut up 😂
About?
@@bmwblogso does the new M5
At least in my eyes, not worse than a RS6

The most perfect one car solution if my salary tripled… ever.
Same
An M5 not made for the track. Sad times
But was it ever a track car?
everythign is perfect except the look... sigh
