I didnt know NYC has "pet fees" thats just ridiculous!!! We dont have that in Canada! No wonder so many homeless cats are in New York and the animal rescues are doing their best to save so many lives ... 😢😢😢

You inspire me so much as someone who was also born and raised in a small town all my life one of my biggest dreams is to live in NYC but it seems so far out of reach considering that I’m from a small town in Tx but you make me feel like my dream might come true one day 💝

Girl the people outside is completely valid! Im in a "luxury" apt in DC and lately we've had a ton of people sleeping on the building and benches. Im moving bc its gotten pretty out of hand, its not that hard for them to walk in the building either! I get you girl

Just found you! Love watching NYC. Not the NYC I remember, I'm 76 so you can imagine the NYC I knew. Fast, fun, safe, but we were young! So many memories to cherish. I live in a small town and any renters have a pet fee, even in the senior high rises.

Like the placement of the kitchen, the bathrooms etc. Other than colorwise they very much look alike. I live in The Netherlands in a (for people from very big cities) ‘small’ town and over here all buildings and appartments are so different from eachother. Would love to live in NY for a year tho🥲
I lived in Murray Hill when I first moved to NYC back in 2008. I was a travel nurse. I believe it was 150 East 37th Street. I lived on the top floor and from my bed, I could see the Chrysler Building. The best part about it was that it was free. Those were good times. There definitely are SO many college bars around there.
For future reference, instead of paying a pet fee. You can have your pet as an emotional support/ service animal. Once you have proof of that, you don't have to pay fee.
Well that's a lot of Apartments to look at. I like the one with the fireplace. The boat out windows or. Too bad you lost out on the one that you applied for because the amenities looked great. Glad you got a corner unit with those beautiful windows. For me windows and natural lighting is everything.
Ms. Lauren, I cannot wait until next Tuesday's video. My one thing I was looking for in this apartment was affordability. I got a voucher. So, I graduated from the place I was living in, and this place where I am now was just being built. So, I got a really good layout. It's the best of the building. I have a circle wall, so the studio feels like it has a separate bedroom.
