I've gotten to play mmx2 for the first time a few months ago, and it was purely a great experience. I've known mmx3 from my childhood ~10 years back, but I loved first 2 games even more. Even if there isn't that much story the game have very romantic feel to them, they made me feel sad, thrilled, motivated, melancholic - all that stuff. The magic in games happens not when you create visually realistic world, but when you create world with a depth, when you feel like there's so much more to this world that you're shown bits of through the game. Beautiful game. Played mmx4 too felt a bit like a downgrade but I'll sure give rest of the series a try some day

Oddly, the "Mega X" episode of the Mega Man anime was actually a teaser to a Mega Man X anime that never happened. I can't help but to wonder, what Zero would like in the Mega Man anime if he appeared, as well as Bass.
Shame no one was Intrested in Zx either tbh. Would've loved seeing some light shone on the Elf Wars somewhat and explaining what happend to Zero whenever or not he died.
Listening to this and comparing it to its TEPPEN remix, this felt more awesome to listen to despite the loop. Or maybe because TEPPEN has incorporated some other elements to the theme upon being remade (such as elements from X4)
I'll probably be the only one who's here because a MIDI version of this was used as the intermission screen music in Valkiriforce's Doom map set, Oceanside. That was a FANTASTIC map set.

Mega Man "beat" Proto Man in MM3 because Proto Man was going easy on his brother to train him in using the slide and such. In MM5 Proto Man one-shotted Dark Man's most powerful form which in turn one-shotted Mega Man. Also in MM&B Proto Man was able to destroy King's shield which Mega Man and Bass could not even scratch.
so in the mega man anime series... at some point mega man meets X... would've been hilarious if he met Zero instead... he would've just gotten kicked out of the way.
