- The X100 Pro is highly underrated for its videography... not in a million lifetimes did I expect it to perform as well as it did... especially against the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

@@thetechphenomena Vivo's update added front facing 4k + seamlessly switch front/rear while recording + improved portrait mode, manual focus tracking etc. Edit to add: I'm still filming YT vids using Vivo X70 Pro+ as my main and still love it but waiting for Vivo X100 Pro+ (or Ultra?) to launch next quarter to upgrade.

Would love a vid from you about the Oneplus 12, everyone seems to be biased against it cus it's a Oneplus and put too much expectations and say "wow it's kinda bad" but it's hated too much I think, I think after a few updates it'll go toe to toe with the S24 Ultra till 3x at least and for only 800 dollars, that's a steal nowadays.

You are the best reviewer for videography reviews. There you go, I said it. ❤️❤️, I don't know why reviewers don't give much effort for videography review ,, I mean we are already in videography era.. even a good enough photo can be edited to make it good but for video you can't do that, videography should be given more priority in my opinion.
One thing to note is that the FOV is not high on the videos of both the lens, especially the ultrawide of the x100 pro, its a bit cropped in. I am guessing it has to do with the EIS, it needs to record at higher resolution and then output a stable video. That's the only qualm I have with this phone which costs like half the price of IP15PM.
The fov of the x100 pro's ultrawide is in general not a lot... even compared to other devices... maybe in combination with the eis crop... it can look not quite as Ultra wide
Do you have the Chinese version of x100 or the global version of the x100 ?
Mine is global... I know the Chinese one got a spicy update with 4k for selfie vids

Nah... we can see the difference on a 55 inch oled... they're more than good enough for the job... of course mine is 4k but the difference is still discernable

You're correct to say nothing beats the iphone in video, but you're wrong to say nothing will "ever beat" the iphone. For context, phones like the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Huawei P60 pro and even the Vivo X100 pro are very veeerry close. Keep a level eye. Watch out for Chinese superphones
