it's weird the feeling i get when i listen to ras g music. i just feel something totally complete, totally real, an inner peace, a real joy. there was absolutely zero affectation or grandiosity to what he did. i go through long periods of listening to many different kinds of music, taking in new sounds. then i come back through and stumble over some new ras g again every once in a while, and be like...wow. i'm home again. it makes me move in weird ways. the other day my foot just started going in circles, i was just laughing to my self because i didn't even know that was happening until about 20 seconds later. that's ras g to me. just the truth. my kids and their kids are going to hear this music!
