I have a triton, motif, fantom g6, nord wave, juno106, mpc 2000xl, spx900 rack, korg n264, and a roland mv8800, all thru dumpster diving, pawnshop searching, and ebay bidding. Zaytoven just described the modern version of my setup (replace the triton with the nautilus, motif with the montage, 2000xl with the mpcx). Thank you for sharing and giving me motivation on using my old hardware.

@lzrbmz The juno106 was in my rap dudes uncle's moldy shed. I traded a laptop for it. It has a fuzz to it I have fix tho.The mpc2000xl I got for like $400 on ebay in 2018, when my FLstudio crashed. It works fine except for the bottom left velocity fader. I got called a 🦕for buying it, but I put my fl beats in it and layer the drums they come out punchier.
The triton came from a jewelry pawnshop for like $150. She wanted me to get out of the store, I can tell, so i lowballed it acted like it was sum bullshit toy. Fantomg6, nord wave, mv8800, all from pawnshops. Motif6 just got on eBay last week for 600 even. Found a real piano in a dumpster last month. Broke my windshield putting it the car tho. Found a fcb1010 footpedal and sum turntables in an abandoned apartment my ppls was cleaning on a junk-scrap job. He kept an amp and sum other stuff i forgot, i just needed to show up to the scrap site and give him a ride home. Had to leave the yamaha grand tho. It wasn't a workstation so i wasn't trippin. I think that's it. Missed out on an mpckeys at the pawn shop i got a good vibe wit for like 750? I think.
