  • In this video, I'm going to be unboxing my brand new Jobo CPP-3 Film & Print processor.
    According to CatLabs, the bag of parts includes:
    - Spare set of running rollers with extension arms
    - Spare transfer gears

    Thanks for making this. There aren’t enough Jobo videos on the internet. Jobo themselves have made some great videos lately though. I bought the smaller model with and love it.

    Let's see. Cpp-3, shipping, selection of tanks and reels, and a variety of bits and pieces to allow use of Jobo tank(s) you already have: $4,200 more or less. I cannot find adequate value to seriously consider this.

      This is a professional semi-automatic machine for intense use. If you want to save, you could get alternatives for less, but they won't have a few options that this machine has to offer. These machines serve for decades, I've read about ~40 years old machines, and from that perspective it's not that expensive.

    Just wondering why JOBO cannot produce a video like this, showing the correct way to assemble and use the processor. The Germans still live in the 1950s, it seems - usually awful software, unclear instructions printed on paper (often with inadequate translation), and nowadays everything manufactured in China. I tried to order items from JOBO's website today - wasn't even able to put things in the shopping basket. No wonder the traditional German photography companies go bankrupt one after another.
