I’m from Kimberley. I must tell you when you think the city is clean in the current political climate it’s your impression.. But truth is Kimberley used to hail as the most cleanest cities in South Africa in the past years. Like literally clean… The municipality is not necessarily doing much as we speak to take Kimberley back to its former glory.
This is by far the best video of our city. Moved here almost 3 years ago wonderful here better than the Cape, Gauteng or the East Coast, just finding an English speaker is rare so still adapting, if you've never been here you're missing out big time
Did my 2 years National Service there, at 11 Commando/1 Intelligence from 1979 till 1981. Never been back. Changed a lot since then and don't recognise much of it.

Haven't been to Kimberly since 2010 Soccer world cup😂 Have plenty of good memories spending every school holiday and Christmas with my cousins but now we don't keep in touch anymore. Kimberly still looks the same.❤
Not quite sure what you mean. The city looked very nice to me. It reminds of an American, Canadian or Australian city/town. Unless you’re lamenting the fall of apartheid in which case I don’t know what to tell you except that I don’t see that as a bad thing.

I stayed there for about 6 months. It’s a nice laid-back city.

Born in this town 1952. Lived near Rhodes statue on horse and Crescent Hotel. Left in 1967...How the mighty has fallen...😢😢😢
