Kaalvoet met my fiets en pa se .22geweer het ek op oom Jim Matthee se twee plase gaan jag sowat 20jaar voor die koms van Sasol/Secunda. Maart 1976 trek mnr Lool en mevr An ODENDAAL en kinders in op Secunda as die EERSTE inwoners!! So het ek van mielielande tot die Sasolreus hierdie gebied sien groei.

I love that concrete road in some parts of Durban.

Remember not to change lines inside a circle...BIG no no. We are very proud of our city. A.k.a The City of Circles. Founded in 1948. Received City Status on 14 Febuary 1968. A Preplanned city. The most unique city in South Africa. Also no parking meters. A city so inviting the still call it WELKOM.

Have a look at the station on Google Earth. Non of the buildings have roofs. Totally destroyed.
