Honestly, wouldn't doubt it. My dad and I use to make up sports like this on the spot.
It was invented by a Hungarian footballer, businessmann, and computer scientist (three different people) and basically the footballer grew up playing football on a ping pong table (???) but it wouldn't bounce well so he contacted the other two people and they made a table that was curved so it would bounce and boom new sport

Just to clarify: Officials didn't make any mistakes. It's not a foul as long as the moment of contact with the ball is on your side of the net. Your head or foot can pass over the net line afterwards - not impeding the play of your opponent of course.

At least how i've learned it, America is separated in 3 continents by the tectonic plaques, North America stops in Yucatan, southernmost Mexico and Central America from there to the Panama Isthmus, close to the border with Colombia.

Look how well built that table must be. Unfortunately, 99.999% of Brazilians people can't afford one of those tables.
If they are gonna call players for going over the line, they might want to think about, you know, drawing a line.
Well the net is the line, I suppose? I think the rule should be that as long as the contact is made with the ball before crossing the net, you should be able to follow through and cross the line. But perhaps that wouldn't work in this sport.
@@Apanblod someone would ruin it and just fully dive on the table making a return shot impossible. I think a line on the ground that u cant step over would do the trick. Allow your kicks and headers to cross the plane as long as when u step down your on your side, that would be cool imo.
@@GonzoDonzo I assumed that touching the table itself would be prohibited under any circumstances. But hopefully they've somewhat figured out at this point what rules best serve the flow of the game. Fun looking sport nontheless 🙂

They need to take away the rule about crossing over the middle line. Table tennis does not have this rule because that rule makes a bunch of balls completely unplayable due to spin/position.
i agree that at times it seemed a little over the top, but i don't think this would have nearly the same problems as ping pong. you're not gonna be able to get the same spins on the teqball (? soccer ball? idk) as a ping pong ball, and the sloped tables also make that even more of a non-factor
