Grenadiers are selling very well here in Idaho. We are a rugged state with winters that can be very rough and a tough built 4x4 is worth its weight in gold. Things I instantly notice? The interior controls are all easy to use with space for gloved fingers and no reliance on silly touch sensitive sensors that won’t detect the touch of a gloved finger. A BMW straight 6 that is rugged, reliable and easy to work with. An interior with lots of room for kids, dogs and hunting/fishing buddies. Built for off-road use with external electric outlets. Test drove one the other day, the one I looked at was priced at $77k at Rusnak in Pasadena, Ca. Loved the utility and pure toughness of the vehicle overall... HATED the "recirculating-ball hydraulic steering system." It's probably a badass system for overlanding and bouncing over rocks and logs, etc. but the steering action takes a lot of getting used to (feels unresponsive and doesn't right itself immediately after a turn) and could possibly cause a bit a fatigue on longer roadtrips just getting to the overland trails... If you live on massive acreage that is mostly dirt roads or you're a farmer/rancher that needs to trek long distance over your lands, this vehicle is thoroughly for you BUT the Ineos Grenedier is definitely not designed to be a daily city driver.

I'm manifesting getting one of these! Love them. Thanks for the tour. Which exterior color is this model? The white or mushroom? (It's hard to tell from my phone)
It’s an awesome vehicle it needs some improvements but the biggest thing is the cost they’re expensive and I am assuming that’s because of the tariffs that have to be paid when they come into the United States, the competition is the jeeps and the Ford broncos at least for off-roaders, Personally I feel it needs a little bit more ground clearance and it’s got a few things that I think they need to change to make it better but overall I think it’s an awesome vehicle if it was a little more affordable I definitely would consider one I really like it I sat inside one recently and felt right at home, a little bit more power would be nice & a little bit taller tires and lift springs and I think the vehicle would just be awesome off-road.
This appears to be a well thought out vehicle. I like it - a solid engine and drive train (no turbos, thank God) and a big back storage area. Classic look too. Overall, I like the interior layout and the thought put into adding accessories on the exterior. It seems to have a nice combination of off road capabilities and long haul freeway driving. I think a big issue will be service in The US. If that happens and future reliability ratings are very good, I would consider getting one.
Been loving mine since last August (in UK). We’re lucky enough to have the no cost option of the diesel engine. 3ltr straight 6 twin turbo. 250hp, but 400ftlbs torque.

Hello, thanks for the feedback and watching our video. Yes, definitely agree there is some influence from several manufactures. I think the thing that impressed me the most from the under chassis was the consideration and strength of the frame. The solid axles and the simplicity of the undercarriagewas refreshing. Often times there are so many plastic covers, miscellaneous items, and an assortment of unnecessary items that just get in the way of being able to be confident in diverse terrain.
Been looking for an older Land Cruiser, LX, or a newer GX. Today I was driving and passed what looked like a car lot full of resto-modded defenders lol. I pulled in and learned all about Ineos. Amazing truck but the steering literally gave me anxiety, that is the only downside....not sure I would get used to it.
Tire pressure coming from the factory seems to be a bit over inflated which causes some of steering issues. After adjusting the tire pressure on the shop unit between 35-38 PSI there was a significant improvement. More predictable. But yes agreed initially very odd.
Owned mine for a month. Steering literally took about 15 minutes of in town driving to get used to. Highway is a bit longer, but there are after market solutions - I plan on keeping the steering stock.
Great feedback, this one was completely unexpected, but a great opportunity to do a “casual” walk around. Since this first walk around, I’ve been really reading up on this vehicle. I had heard back in 2023 Toyota was considering bringing the PRADO to the US market. I read a few articles on it. I should probably do some more research but I hadn’t heard anything else about it. Admittedly, the land cruiser is typically been a solid vehicle. 55K seems a little low but I believe you. My guess is it’s probably pretty stripped down. I think it would be fascinating to see the emails and the land cruiser battle it out in the train. maybe after this one gets finished up, we can find a contender lol thanks for watching the channel and sharing your thoughts
@@ekkonesters599 Yes its coming worldwide! Best car in the world! Base model its pretty well equiped with all the lockers and swaybar disconnect. Grenadier just got shitted on big time, they need to bring down to price to 60k.
What city are you located in? The reason I ask is in LA the featured vehicle in this video was 93k as it sat. When we got to Oregon, “Wilsonville”, the dealer showed the same rig at 83k, now you just shared a price of 73k. It will interesting to find out where all the variances of 20 K plus are coming from. I could see how someone would call it the poor man’s G wagon. But I think at this point if I was looking for a vehicle that is truly going to be capableoff the road I’m gonna lean towards the Grenadier. I’ve looked underneath the chassis of some of the G wagons in the past, as well as the refinements inside, and don’t get me wrong. It has a lot of luxury to it but I think we’re talking two different animals here when it’s time to get out there and get in the terrain. Thanks for taking time to watch our video and share your thoughts. I can’t wait to learn more more about this vehicle. If you have any additional information you can share I’m totally down to learn.
Starts at doesn't get you anything nice it's a stripped down cloth version. Base models are listed/selling for $83k + at the moment on various sites. The safari windows on the roof are $2,200 alone. I did see one today on the street it looks good but idk I may just buy a Raptor and see if these are a fad.
If you go to the online build configuration you can see the base model and other packages. The great thing is every feature is a la carte. You are not locked into getting say the Fieldmaster package to get Safari Windows, like so many other manufacturers trim packages with stuff you may not want. You can prioritize what options you want based on your budget. Also the great thing is how many factory features you can get like the Aux power system extra battery, external power hookups, winch, etc which on many vehicles is a lot of extra time and labor after purchasing to build up an over lander. I will be putting in my order before Summer. And my build will be on that $80k mark. I plan on having this a long time so making sure to get everything I want, rather than have buyers remorse after the fact that I didn't get lockers or that dead sexy red contrast frame. The INEOS dealer outside Boston is still buying built out, so no lot full of pre-built Grenediers yet.... Cheers!
He is correct, it’s definitely 500 amp and in theory is dedicated for a winch. I’m telling you, the manufacturer thought of everything in many respect.
Honestly would have been better at 40 k not almost 90. Its intention was to be a rugged back to basics off roader now it’s overpriced I like the looks but I’m sensing it will be a failure.
Hello, thanks for checking out our channel and sharing some thoughts. I’ve heard thoughts on the pricing going both ways. While some folks consider it steep, many others are feeling it right in the market. I’m really curious what the comparison for vehicle capability, build out and reference are triggering “over priced concern”. Here is my thought so far, could change but just a thought. If I build out a Jeep Rubicon, as close as possible, low end MSRP on the Jeep 2024 WRANGLER RUBICON 4WD was $65,295 and comparable Jeep $93,935. Of course In strongly believe the Jeep is no comparison and the Grenadier overall is better built in many ways. Then there is the Defender which was hovering around $84,500 and $116,000.00 and simple not a vehicle I would go with and Lastly the G-Wagon, which can push $139k -$250k and Instill don’t believe it will be a match let alone comparing maintenance. It’s just an interesting new topic to have. I’ve been encouraging others to do a lot of research when doing the comparisons. I still feel that the INEOS is the dominant vehicle in many respects. Things in the steering these are manageable with a simple add-on. it’s also proven itself in other countries. Thanks a lot for sharing your thoughts and opinion, and watching our channel. It’s been a great discussion. Let me know if you have any additional insider thoughts. I’d love learning as well.
@@ekkonesters599 neither it was the annoyance of using the thumb to push in the button for the JK and older wranglers. If you injured one thumb then your left with the other good thumb vs all of your fingers for a handle. The jeep JL replaced the thumb button with a traditional handle.
I do like the refinements of the G-wagons, but the overall expense of maintenance may detour me a bit. Also, I feel as if I would be more likely to get out and really use the INEOS in rough terrain and challenging back roads over that of the G-wagon. Thank you for taking time to check out our video.
This BMW engine has a whole lot of plastic parts that will harden and crack with heat and time. It is not exactly a simple engine either and if it failed, expect a fairly high number of hours to be billed to get at anything and reassemble.
Hello, Thank you for taking time to check out the video video. It’s funny, I don’t disagree that $93,000 just in general is a lot of money. But I started doing some research and trying to find a comparable vehicle, which bleed or not was not easy. Most people would like to consider the defender, the G wagon, or even the jeep, it comparable vehicle. But with all due respect to those vehicles, the defender is not a comparable vehicle maybe by price tag, but that’s about it the G wagon would not be able to do with this sink, and do straight out of the box, and by all means it’s much more Pricey. In respect to the jeep and I say I’m speaking of the Rubicon if you’ve tried to get an apples to apples vehicle out the door, believe it or not I was seeing these things at 90,000 $116,000.00 equipped. and no, I’m not joking, it’s insane. No, don’t get me wrong you see people build jeeps beyond believe, but again, I’m talking as close to apples to apples off the lot comparison, and this vehicle would destroy a jeep in the wild. Thank you for taking the time to watch the video and share your thoughts. We plan on doing some videos on this in the near future as I’ve learned more about the vehicle, hope you’re having a great day and take care.
I was considering buying this car and took it for a test drive. I learned more about it, read various feedback, and checked everything repeatedly. As a professional driver with relevant engineering degree (ICE) and extensive skills in both Europe and Australia, I’ve reached a verdict: this car is far from good. It’s overpriced and overhyped, a product of marketing rather than engineering excellence. I’m unsure of the target audience for this design. It’s probably not suitable for off-road enthusiasts or luxury car lovers. Perhaps it’s aimed at metrosexuals who don’t mind wasting money on something of little value.
Awful car, badly engineered. Just because you add all good ingredients doesn’t mean it’s going to be great. I’m waiting for the first TH-camr that services one of them and also wants to change the shock absorbers and springs. 🤣
Thanks for checking out our video. As we continue to explore and learn more about the INEOS, in becoming more intrigued by a few things especially the Power plant and transmission choice, which I’ll hopefully be able to elaborate more on soon. But in respect to your thoughts/position on changing the shocks and springs, I can’t really see where this becomes a concern? Its robust suspension, features separate coils and shocks, which offers a straightforward system that allows for easy replacement. It’s also a design that ensures reliability on challenging terrains, with minimal complications. In case of issues, the ability to quickly repair such things will be of ease. Also, the Eibach springs are one of the most respected spring manufacturers on the market. If you have time please elaborate on what makes the car awful in respect to engineering. Thanks and safe travels.
@@ekkonesters599 thanks for the reply, I mean I looked at quite a few at a dealership in Britain where I live and and there is no underbody protection unless you want to pay extra. I found the cabin area to be cramped. I was told by the salesman than the chassis is not galvanised as everyone was told in the early days but it’s just painted. When I asked the salesman how do you change the rear shocks as you have limited space he got a technician who told me, you have to undo the body to chassis mount bolts all of them from the rear but leave the front 2 attached at the engine so you can raise the body slightly to get access. Also there was a about 5 cables really close to the propshaft and exhaust that could become an issue off-road, I’m hoping it was just someone lazy at the factory not doing there job properly and not how it was intended. I took lots of pictures of all the flaws I found. Safe travels
Cheap, fake jewelry being sold at the price of a real diamond - that’s what this situation reminds me of. If you don’t agree with me, that’s your right, and only time will tell who is correct. I sympathize with those who were duped into buying this junk for large sums of money. They are left with three options: to remain silent, to falsely praise this substandard vehicle, or to admit that they were fooled into wasting their money.
I would sure recommend waiting to buy a couple of years to see what bugs/lemons/etc. come out. Software alone could easily stop working and where would you go to find a dealer? Remember the Humvee? Don't want to buy a vehicle and have the manufacturer go belly up. Let's see if INEOS is still around in 2028?
That is great advise as well. The company looks pretty solid and is been doing well in other countries so far. But as we all know anything in the automotive world can change at any given time. Here is what I found in respect to other parts of the worlds where the vehicle is being sold. Africa. Botswana. Morocco. Namibia. South Africa. Americas. Canada (English) Canada (Français) Asia Pacific. Australia. New Zealand. Europe. Austria. Belgium (Français) Belgium (Deutsch) Czech Republic. Denmark. ... Middle East. Bahrain. Kuwait. Oman. Qatar. Saudi Arabia. Lets home all these markets keep selling and the company grows.
I don't believe in miracles. I've tested this car, conducted my own research, and read numerous reviews from other owners. It's definitely not my choice. Maybe in 7-10 years, I'll consider this car again. But for now, it's a definite no. I could mention many more negatives, but let me share the story of another owner: th-cam.com/video/QsKHs2g-Xiw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=A6yxBvmSA0M0MrfU There are countless individuals worldwide willing to spend extravagant sums on things that might not be worthwhile. Many are swayed by the so-called 'honest opinions' of experts in areas where expertise may be questionable. Others may not recognise that achievements in the automotive industry are the result of years, if not decades, of hard work and experience. I find it difficult to comprehend both perspectives.
Once the factory warranty expires these things will be flooding the used car market. European vehicles are very expensive to repair and the Grenadier will be no exception.
We have had our Grenadier for a couple of months - 8000 K... and we love it! It's quiet and great fun. It is a top-class car.

Beautiful SUV ❤
Not an SUV but a UV 👍🏻🇬🇧
I wish we had the same option here
None in U.K go offroad. (Sheep grazing pasture is not offroad)
@@itsruf1 er…. Relevant comment to diesel option or minor trolling?
@@robinireland810 No troll.
I hate the no fold flat seats. You can't camp/ sleep flat.
The rear doors are British stupid.
The doors/ floors leak. Noone ever takes it off road.
The videos are in in places you could test a Porsche and owners are beyond themselves wanting ribbons/ sashes.
@@itsruf1 then why are you trolling a vehicle you clearly don’t want?
Is it raining outside?
Very interesting off the cuff walk through. Nice not to have all the gushing praise all the earlier reviews have. And im glad you didnt delve into the whole pub nonsense and the catch phrase.
Thank you for the kind comment and for checking out our channel. Very much appreciated. We have more videos coming soon. Should be a fun vehicle to share details about.
66k for a bronko. 81k for a gladiator, 92k for a taho that wont do a fireroad. Then Bidenomics.
wow cool vehicle..Features inspired by land rover and FJ cruiser but all new :)
@@ekkonesters599 Good to know, I’ll look into that.
Owned mine for a month. Steering literally took about 15 minutes of in town driving to get used to. Highway is a bit longer, but there are after market solutions - I plan on keeping the steering stock.
Since this is soo tall I'd like to see the jack for changing the tires
Its a very well made truck - good review even if you should have done a bit of product research before hand.
Great feedback, this one was completely unexpected, but a great opportunity to do a “casual” walk around. Since this first walk around, I’ve been really reading up on this vehicle. I plan on doing some more comprehensive research and reviews in the near future. If you have some thoughts, please do share, In really appreciate the feedback.
I really want this 🚙 , still not available in Japan
Wow, Japan, so cool that you are checking out our channel all the way from Japan. Thank you for watching and subscribing to our channel. You all have some pretty cool off road rigs there as I understand.
Americans got the defender , now we can't talk 😂
So it's a 1998 Mitsubishi Montero with cool recaro seats, USB's and rocker switches?
Lol, not really. My 1996 montero has a solid axle, but it ain't factory and is maybe 10 percent as strong as the king pins this thing has.
Not for 80+K. Plus, the maintenance of this vehicle - noone talks about. Is it any good, or does it suck like Stelantis?
Where is the gas door? Isn’t this a gas vechile?
Dude were you in a gang in South Cali? Your stance and little miniature hops sayz you waz a cholo esse lol.
In all seriousness though bigger tires improve the looks so much. Nice review!
Land Cruiser Prado incoming for 55k. No way this is worth 40k more
I had heard back in 2023 Toyota was considering bringing the PRADO to the US market.
The Grenedier starts at $71,500😊 NOT $93k. Thanks for playing. It is basically the poor man's G Wagon.
Cheers!
@@raywalteroutdoors Various sites? There is one site to build your own....
He didn’t say starts at, he said that specific vehicle is $90k
Рычаг коробки скоростей оторвать и выкинуть - чужой он в интерьере!!
Without proper placed instrument gages for me it's missing all point
It would initially be a little unfamiliar, but I think overall one would get use to it. Thank you for taking time to watch and leave a comment.
500amp ? Not !
Yep! For the winch.
Nope, the thumb opening was the biggest annoyance of my old jeep. $97k??? Nope
Quick question: was it that the thumb/push button would get stuck or jammed?
@@ekkonesters599 neither it was the annoyance of using the thumb to push in the button for the JK and older wranglers. If you injured one thumb then your left with the other good thumb vs all of your fingers for a handle. The jeep JL replaced the thumb button with a traditional handle.
Rather spend £60k on a used G Wagon will hold its value much more imo
I do like the refinements of the G-wagons, but the overall expense of maintenance may detour me a bit. Also, I feel as if I would be more likely to get out and really use the INEOS in rough terrain and challenging back roads over that of the G-wagon. Thank you for taking time to check out our video.
This BMW engine has a whole lot of plastic parts that will harden and crack with heat and time. It is not exactly a simple engine either and if it failed, expect a fairly high number of hours to be billed to get at anything and reassemble.
Too much technology! LC70 series would be more ideal.
You lost me at $93k
Hello,
Thank you for taking time to check out the video video.
We plan on doing some videos on this in the near future as I’ve learned more about the vehicle, hope you’re having a great day and take care.
to expensive, i got an xterra, less than 4K
Hell no its not worth 90k. But it is great.
Take off road & then post a video;
Yeah..if you can buy a 1.9 tonne 62 inch vehicle with 27,000$ why spend 93,000$? A Mall crowler for light roads. Oh, before lift, 35’s, etc… 😂
Americas. Canada (English) Canada (Français)
Asia Pacific.
I could mention many more negatives, but let me share the story of another owner: th-cam.com/video/QsKHs2g-Xiw/w-d-xo.htmlsi=A6yxBvmSA0M0MrfU
There are countless individuals worldwide willing to spend extravagant sums on things that might not be worthwhile.
