I am fortunate to live in San Diego, next to Balboa Park. I take my ebike, to the locations you're looking at on this post. And yes it is as Beautiful as it is on this post. This place is Paradise.
Thank you. That's a good sampling of Balbos Park. I've been looking for a good, short (ten min), program to share with a friend who's never been to San Diego. I grew up at Spruce and Second, and walked home from SDHS through the park each day when I was a teenager.
We're planning a series of videos at local parks like the Zoo, Sea World and Safari Park. If theres anything you'd like to see at the parks let us know.

Im visiting the U.S next year for my first time plan to drive down from Santa Monica to visit San Diego really want to see balboa park and uss midway sure there’s plenty more to do however we have plans to head up highway 1 to take in the coast . Thanks for the video
I lived in San Diego for a couple years. This was and still is very memorable to me. I have a photographic memory of things I did and done. I will always carry it in my heart. My everlasting poem.....
You were smart to leave out the Zoo which deserves its own video (or more). That said grasshopper, your biggest miss was the bar/food/music scene. El Prado Restaurant is -- maybe the fourth best restaurant in the park (not counting Albert's in the Zoo -- the El Prado would be 5th). Panama 66 in the Museum of Art is an amazing food and music scene with live jazz and big band music many nights of the week. Artifact in the Mingei is part of their recent $50mm renovation and is a great place to eat. WorldBeat Cafe is a wonderful option for vegans who want international dishes. Other major misses were the Cabrillo Bridge, the official entrance to the Park (and the gateway to San Diego's amazing pedestrian suspension bridges). The California Tower, with its guided tours, also deserved some time as it is the park's most notable landmark. More obscure things would be the San Diego Jr. Theater in Casa Del Prado, the retired nudist colony that is Zoro Garden, the Moreton Bay Fig Tree, the Spanish Village Art Center and the Marston House. The Balboa Tennis Center that hosts spillover matches for the Billie Jean King National Championships for 16- and 18-year-olds in August. Balboa Park's dirt trails are a popular site for the of Footlocker National Cross County Championships each year. Did I mention that Balboa Park has great free WiFi?
Great question about parking at Balboa Park in San Diego! Balboa Park has 11 free parking lots scattered throughout, with easy access to attractions. Some key options: • Inspiration Point lot - largest, with free tram service • Alcazar lot - closest to many museums • Organ Pavilion lot - central location • Zoo lot - convenient for zoo visitors All lots are free, but can fill up on busy days. Weekday mornings tend to be less crowded. Street parking is also available on Park Blvd and surrounding areas. Pro tips: - Arrive early on weekends/holidays - Use the free tram from Inspiration Point - Consider rideshare for super busy times Hope this helps with your Balboa Park visit! Let me know if you need any other info.
The US government is actually using the name of the continent. We are US citizens and citizens of the United States. Everyone in North America, Central America, South America, the Americas and the American continent is an American like Asia are Asians, Africa are Africans and Europe are Europeans. What happened first? The United States of America or the American continent? The United States of America became a nation on the date of July 4th of 1776 and the whole entire continent was already named America after Amerigo Vespucci in the year 1507 that was 269 years difference way before the United States of America became a nation. Europe has 50 countries, Asia has 51 countries, Africa has 54 countries, Oceania has 14 countries and America is not a country America is a continent of 35 countries in total. Why are people not educated about America? ............The reason why people come here to the United States from all over the world is because the US government goes to their countries and controls and manipulates their governments. The US government and its allies aka puppets invade small countries 10 or more against 1 small country not even bigger than Texas. Both the Democrats and the Republicans are the same snake with two evil heads. The US government is a two face and the number 1 terrorist in the world. The US government invades, kills, destroys, divides, controls, manipulates and steals resources from small countries. .............Homelessness is a choice of life. @@Voyagerhq it's unfortunate because the place use to be so tranquil. It's still a great place, just not at this current point in time for me. Well done in capturing all there is to do at Balboa Park.

Is it free to get in?
The museums usually have an entrance fee. On Tuesdays some are free to residents.
But the park itself is free to visit
@@zari2662 we went and had fun lol
It’s designed in a Spanish Moorish architecture I forget that .

it's known for it's Gardens, shops, homeless drug addicts ruining the ambiance, ya know, those things.
That seems to be more common since this video was made.
