Peter- Thank you so much for this recipe. Your easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions are going to make this pizza-making adventure oven a complete joy. Ninja Oven Newbie here (my first pizza oven ever, as a matter of fact). I like the idea of making the dough in a bread machine too. My wife purchased a bread machine a few years ago, used it a few times, and it’s been sitting in the bottom of the pantry ever since. Time to put it back to good use. Been having the WFG Pro Connect, since it debuted on the market, and I’ve cooked many a great tasting dishes in it, but I’m always looking to try new recipes, so I will def be trying some of your WFG dishes. Came across your YT channel when googling the basics of the WF Oven. Some of the other videos I’ve seen mention that the User Guide Recipes leave a lot to be desired, as end results, majority of the time, fall short of expectations (mainly with the Max Roast or Specialty Roast options). I guess the true test would be to do a few sample cooks of the recipes in the book for myself and see how they turn out. But once again, thank you for doing your part to simply these NK appliances. -Dave M New Orleans
Hi Dave, I thought I responded to your comment, but TH-cam is showing that I have not! Thanks for taking the time to write such a nice comment! I have not been using my Ninja grills/oven as much as I should lately, and I need to get back to them. You are right about making the bread/dough in the bread machine. I have used the bread machine for making dough in numerous recipes. Just make sure your yeast is till alive. I have told myself to check the yeast by proofing a bit of it before adding the amount to the machine. I failed to do that this past weekend and had a disaster with some dough that barely proofed. I had to go to the local bakery because I was out of time. Anyway - thanks for the comment and happy new year! See you in 2025! Please subscribe if you have not already and let your friends know about the channel and ask them to subscribe as well. Thanks! Peter
Hi Peter. This oven is just amazing! From perfect pizzas on Saturday to Perfectly smoked half leg of lamb on Sunday. I also invested in Ninjas pro chef wireless thermometer to Get the meat cooked to perfection 😋 This oven is (so far) my best purchase of 2024 🥰 Thanks for the video ❤
Great video, Peter. Looks super nice. I have this awesome oven and almost always use the top heat setting to replicate a real pizza oven - it then usually cooks within 2 mins, with a super charred base.
Mmmmmm, That pizza looked absolutely delicious, I liked that Ninja Oven too. I also love Rao's sauce, that's my favorite sauce. Take care and stay safe in OK. Hot here in Preskitt.
Is it that much better than the ninja grill pizza you made? I'm trying to work out whether to get an electric smoker that doesn't do pizza, one of ninja grills or the ninja oven.. Pizza isn't my driver, but it is an added bonus so wondering if I'll get more from the grill which the oven can't do at all I believe?
If you don't already have it I suggest you start with the Ninja Woodfire Grill XL - the larger one of the two. You can easily do pizza on the grill they just won't be round. See my other videos on cooking pizza on the grill, I have at least two videos on how to do that. Peter
Hi, Parchment paper is only rated to 450 with specialized parchment paper(hard to find) rated at 500. Baking at 550 on parchment paper will release a lot of unwanted chemicals into your food. Save it for your home oven at 450 or lower. Otherwise, great video.
Hey parchment paper is my trick, I don't even go outside, pizza stone in the oven, 500 deg. 35-40 min. put the pizza on the stone after 4 min. turn the oven to broil 3 min.later done, 7min pie. best pizza ever. Leftovers in the airfryer even better. I use the jenny can cook pizza dough recipe. For my sauce i mix apple butter and prego pizza sauce, 50/50.
Parchment paper is surely the way to go as far as I am concerned. You'd be surprised how many people have not heard of this. Thanks for the comment! Peter
Is this a parody? That's a terrible looking pizza. Totally burnt and took 12 minutes. Was considering one of these ovens but I've yet to see anyone cook a decent pizza in it including the ninja official channel
Hi Paul, I guess it's all a matter of opinion as to what makes a good pizza and since there are so many different varieties of pizza there are thousands of opinions. What I like about this oven is the fact that I can add a delicious smoke flavor to the pizza (and other foods I wish to bake) and this is why I bought the oven vs a 'regular' outdoor pizza oven (which I also have.) What you are stating as looking 'burned' is probably the brownish color that the smoke adds to the pizza, and that's what I am after by using this oven. Now, if you are after a pizza that looks like DiGiorno or Domino's pizza then this is not the outdoor for you. If that's the pizza I want then I'll use my other pizza oven, or just go to Dominos and pick up takeout! Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment! Peter

Thank you Dave. That was very kind of you to take the time to make those comments. I don't use my Ninja grills as much as I should lately but should. I agree about making the pizza dough in the bread machine. I suggest you do a quick test of the yeast just to make sure it's still active and not dead. This comes from experience. Happy new year. Peter

Thank you for this great recipe. I tried it and it turned out great. Keep the recipes with the ninja coming!
Thank you, Susan! I'm glad it worked out for you. Peter
Looks super yummy
This looks great ,I was debating if my woodfire grill would make pizzas but this oven with the stone is the answer. 😀
Actually I've made MANY pizzas in the grill... it's just as good to be honest, it just takes a few minutes longer. Peter
watching from socal, just bought our dad a new oven for his bday. Awesome videos, just subscribed!
Thank you, Ray! Thanks for watching, commenting and subscribing! Peter
Any recommendations on how to kake the crust crunchy? Great video.
All I can think of to coat the crust with a brush of olive oil or butter. Peter

Yes it was
This was so helpful, thank you. I made my first pizza today and it stuck to the pizza stone. I will certainly use parchment paper next week.
Great! It's a real game changer! Thanks for the comment! Peter

@@CookingWithPeterOK one problem is I'm in Australia and the XL isn't sold here surprisingly.

I didn't see you add the wood pellets. Was that intentional?
They were already in the machine. Thanks for pointing that out. Peter
