Thanks for having these available on your website. I love mine, works great for quickly securing the helmets when the trunk is full. However, I wanted the helmets to be higher up and away from the exhaust pipe on my 2018 DCT Tour Wing. I made a new flat bracket that was about 2 inches taller on both sides, same original total width, about 1.5 inches wide at the new top, but was still the original height in the middle area to clear the little red reflector on the fender. Think of a blocky looking U shape for the new bracket. Then I put the two locks on the new plate, and it works great, keeping the helmets up higher away from dirt and warm pipes.
I bought one of these at a bike show in Atlanta some 25 years ago and it finally broke. I'd say I got my money's worth, excellent quality piece. Probably close to 150k miles between bikes i had it on.
Max! On my 2022 Tour NON DCT. The cover where the Parking Brake goes. Have you ever removed it to create and extra storage ? I want to do it but not sure how to easily remove it without removing the side fearing.
Yeah that seems valid. I don't think the muffler is as hot as you think. They are double walled. What your see is decorative. I'll check that out on my bike this week.
It looks like the helmet will sit close to the muffler. I like the concept just concerned about a hot muffler that close to my helmet.

Can you email me a photo of that?

@Max McAllister & Traxxion Dynamics As soon as I get off the golf course I'll send you that photo.
I did a similar thing .
Looks like a great product. I'm going to try one when my 2023 DCT comes in.
I have had two over the years. I highly recommend it. Yes, you have to be wary of hot mufflers
I tested that... the mufflers on the Wing are decorative, and what you see is just a big empty metal box. They don't get hot at all!

That's a heckuva testimonial!
Thanks for keeping us aware of what's on the market.
You bet!

There's not enough space there to store anything.
Nice to c u again. Definitely could use that . Nice design. How is the house coming along
House update soon... miserable weather here, cold as F!!!
How’s it work with the ratchet style straps? No D rings on my Neotec 2
That was a Neotech 2 I put on the bike in the video.
Cool. I see how you hooked it. Didn’t need d rings or anything.
@@GaitesKlein I also had the "uh-oh" moment when I took my helmet out of the bag to try it out...
Sorry , but I would rather preferred to have this lockers under the rear trunk ( as it was on goldwing
No one knows why Honda made such a bad decision. The 2001-17 system was perfect.
Wish you an happy new year Max . @@Traxxion
@@jackycharrier5015 Thanks! Same to you!
Hot Muffler! Melty Helmet! ?????

@@Traxxion Looking forward to seeing a followup. Please use two helmets and let us know your results.
