- The new 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross emerges as a blend of familiar reliability under the Corolla brand and a touch of modern utility. Leveraging the credibility of the Corolla name, it aims to extend its appeal by incorporating 'Cross' in its nomenclature, suggesting added versatility and a hint of off-road capability. This compact SUV maintains the Corolla's reputation for trustworthiness but doesn't deviate from its somewhat modest handling and performance. The standard model relies on a 169-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a CVT, offering reasonable but not exhilarating power. Opting for the Corolla Cross Hybrid significantly boosts the power output to 197 horsepower, delivering a more spirited driving experience. Visually, the Corolla Cross displays hints of the RAV4 and Highlander SUV in its design, presenting a sporty appearance with certain trims adding a dash of zest to its exterior allure. The vehicle emphasizes safety with a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance features, including standard automated emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane-departure warning. It integrates contemporary technology such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and a range of connectivity options, from standard features like SiriusXM radio to optional wireless smartphone charging and a premium JBL audio system. The interior, reminiscent of the Corolla sedan, offers a comfortable and well-equipped cabin, with ample space for passengers and an increased cargo area compared to its sedan counterpart.

Nothing new it is a Toyota Corolla but a raised one. Another surplice product of Toyota. A manufacturer that excels in marketing almost nothing for big money, making very poorly engineered vehicles and pretending to sell reliable products which can not be further than the truth. Save you money and buy a real and proper car, not some overpriced pretentious vehicle.
Toyota is one of the most reliable brands out there. They hold their value better than almost everyone. In the US this is the replacement for the CH-R which is discontinued.
