@@villainshotaaizawa3080 let me ask my question a bit differently, because I realize now myself that my formulation wasn't good. Let's say you invent something which could really save the world. Everything is planned and you go to an investor hoping that he could invest into the needed materials for it. He looks at your apparatus say that it look interesting and ask how much money he can earn with it. Luckily have you two versions. One which will never make any money, but you can save everyone with it and one version which saves only the ones with enough money. The answer seem to be easy, but think about what is more important for the investor and if you are able to get the needed materials without his money. That's what I meant with deciding between money and live.

i am an INFP and studying to be an architect! im disappointed that we're always called lazy and easily unmotivated…do i get unmotivated sometimes? yea ofc like anybody else! but we infps can do ANYTHING we set our minds to once we really want it. whether you choose a creative or STEM career, im wishing all my infps the best of luck! we can do this!!
Uh, I’m an INFP artist for a living and I work my ass off doing it. I’ve got the chronic migraines from a bent neck to prove it. There is nothing wrong with being an artist.
I've been procostinating alot, even the things i actually want and like to do. It's hard staying focus and motivated at times and it frustrates me. Best of luck on all of y'all's career's though.
@@EarthenCavy yea ofc artists work hard! sorry if my wording was confusing. But what i was saying is that one personality type shouldnt be confined to one career or only creative careers, and also shouldnt be defined by other stereotypes such as laziness. You obviously are not lazy, which was my point. INFPs are more than these labels :)
I mean, I’m an ISFP with the same issue. Honestly don’t have any interests in the suggestions I was given. I’m striving to become a self employed artist.
Don’t let society stop you from pursuing what you love!! Society will always try to stop you from shining as bright as you can but just keep pursuing what you love and letting your light shine, so you can shine bright and help others shine too ❤️❤️
we all know that istp can easily learn a new skilled trade quickly ... but which of these 2 do you think is the most suitable for ISTP ...? electrician or mechanic ... ???
I'm an INFP who starts career as a data analyst :) , to be honest, my progress is relatively slow if I compare myself with other people who are 'naturally logic' , and little bit 'hard to maintain' mood when the project is so long, but I believe, this is thing that can change with experience and practice :) Keep going guys!
As a GM who gets paid frequently for the work, I actually get to do this... ...AND depending on how you look at it, I get to do and be a LOT more... for better and/or worse. ;o)
@@happybalint Thanks... It might still be a fine quality hobby while you build experiences with the idea in the meantime... no pressure or anything. It's worth mentioning, as a GM, I do an awful lot of dying, too... Ah... the price of power... ;o)
Finally a video that doesn’t limit INTPs to the science fields or portraits us as robots with no emotions/connections with people. I felt very represented by this description and I LOVED the art. I appreciate the work that was put into this video.
The world is progressing but I feel like I'm stuck and won't achieve something in life. Thank to this video, it gave me time to ponder and reflect for my future.
@Tee well what I have learnt over these many years is that every occupation should be seen with equal dignity. But ofc in reality that rarely happens. There may be people who might actually love that job ( which is ofc a very small percentage ) and there are people who are still not happy with even the best job in the world because they actually have not found their purpose yet . Above all finding happiness in the simplest thing we do is what we should look up. Happiness and self satisfaction is the key to everything
how do i actually see what kind of careers are there? i’ve done my research on the internet and it all seemed too grownup for me to understand ✋😔 i guess that’s what i get being raised in a circle which mouths out nothing but “be a doctor/engineer/lawyer!!” 🙄
As an INFP I relate to all things you said: almost all career options are something I'm interested in. I do art, I write books, I sing and make music, and I also read psychology books and researches of mental disorders in my freetime!
Me too...i do the same all the time but what's negative of doing them is that, i either end up only thinking of doing them or with not doing any of them at all. Cause I'm so turbulent that i hardly finalize something and i can hardly keep them up till the end before abandoning them.
I'm so thankful that you included "Writer" as a suitable job for INTPs. As an INTP myself it irritates me every time the fact that people usually say that this is a better Hobby/Career for NFs. We and other NTs also have a surprising imagination and can put our own mark in the Evolution of Literature through our writing ideas. 😌
Heyyy, I thought the same thing! I was so happy to see a lot of creative jobs like writer. I, as an INTP love creative stuff, even though I think I'm usually not good at it. 😅 But I still love it. Let's go, INTP gang!
as an INTP i always hated writing and could never get into creative writing. that might be because of the school environment pressuring me to write something with a deadline. it also might be because my ADHD makes me not be able to focus on this thing that im not at all interested in
I've always had three main interests, writing, art, and musical composition! I was so relieved to see Composer and writer, and yes, as a fellow INTP, I too have this problem with writing, people say it's a hobby and it annoys me so much.
we all know that istp can easily learn a new skilled trade quickly ... but which of these 2 do you think is the most suitable for ISTP ...? electrician or mechanic ... ???
Well, ISTP functions are: introverted, sensing, thinking and perceiving. Obviously when it comes to being introverted it is hard to choose between these 2 jobs because both of them will most likely mean you will work with someone else. In my opinion, electrician seems better because it is more likely to have a tiny bity chance of working alone. When it comes to sensing that is mostly imagination, awareness and extracting and understanding new info. Which works with being an electrician because you can get new scenarios where you have no idea what to do so you have to gather as much info of what you know and transform it into new knowledge. Thinking is basically what it says, I don’t have much to say about it... And when it comes to perceiving I have no idea... sorry. (Sorry for my bad grammar but English isn’t my native language)
As an INFP, all those careers are my interests but before I watched this vid, after all the frustrations and being lost in what I want to do in my life, I decided to be a therapist or definitely a mental health professional. I'm so interested in psychology hence why I watched a lot of vids from this channel, and I wanna help and comfort people just like how other people did for me. I'm still scared honestly if this is really my final decision or not but now that I've watched this video, it gave me more of a reason why I should be choose those careers. This might be the sign I'm looking for ^^ Thank you.
@@pandax5359 a mental health professional is usually a counselor or therapist that helps their patients deal with emotional problems and/or mood disorders. psychologists, on the other hand *can* be therapists or counselors (this would be the job of a clinical psychologist), but there's other types too! research psychologists, social psychologists, etc.
So, I'm assuming the other peeps here are also INFP. Honestly I love the idea of helping people to get better or to deal with things. I hate seeing people unhappy. I want to be an author. The books I want to write would be semi realistic fiction in that they could be possible given the right circumstances. I haven't written my first one yet but I'm almost done preparing for it. I'm gonna do my first novel in the novel November challenge. I hope I can succeed. It's going to be about how the main character deals with loss and finds a way to let go of the pain without losing the person they miss. (Like learning how to live a normal life again but still remembering who that person was and respecting their memory). I think I know what I'm going to call it, but that could change. I think it will be "I Love You Sam". Oof, that social anxiety is screaming that I don't post this, but it's for my own good... I think.
I love how INFPs things are exactly the ones I was thinking of being. Either being a Mental health professional once I get a lot of proper footing with my own health or just an artist.
INTP here, ever since I've known myself I've always had more interest in art and music than anything involving mathematics or science and have been writing short stories since i was about twelve years old, I'd say this is pretty accurate :)
it's because music is also math... but more fun! hhahaha but even though I love music and arts, I suck at being artistic, having a clear aesthetic and composition sense, etc... I wish I was a more artistic INTP, but I'm just good at solving problems in a logical way... and very poor in the emotional sense... (not that I'm good at math... because I sometimes forget how to do basics... I'm just good at finding a way...)
ENTP: they are gonna totally offend me in some weird way, but maybe it will not be that bad Psych2Go: "ENFP - The Debater" ENTP: *Listen Here You Little...*
@@cynthiavallejo743 i was looking at the sections to skip to ENTP because i wasn’t bothered to skip through myself, and i didn’t see it and i got kind of frustrated, ‘where is ENTP?’. Actually, it kind of makes sense. Most of the people that I've been seeing in this comment section are INFPs (myself included) so the fact that we're interested in these things. If we can find our way in life, then our knowledge combined with our experiences could totally make great mental health professionals

Kind of ironic that there is a personality type called *inspector* but then the *craftsman* turns out to be better suited to become an actual inspector. :D
Probably because ISTJ’s would be better suited to being a health inspector or someone who makes sure everything is running smoothly and rules are being followed. ISTP would be better suited as a detective. It’s just a different meaning of the word.
ENTP here and I’ve been fascinated by animation ever since I was a young child! I’m currently hoping to be able to work on my own projects for the masses to enjoy. Who knows? Maybe I’ll become an animation director when I grow up and finally make my own shows like the ones I loved as a young girl! ☺️
I've tested as an INTP for several years now but I've never felt quite right about all the science stuff of INTP, since I hate math, and science, and I am interested in anything and everything artistic. It's nice to see a list finally give INTPs other possible careers besides scientist, engineer, and neurosurgeon ha ha
You maybe be an INFP or an INTJ since theyre really close. And your type can change as you grow older and experience new things. Maybe you could try retesting to see if there is any difference?
My bestie is now taking Archeology major and is a musician, he is a born artist and really not well suited to science (I am the witness of that). He is doing well as an artist, he dislikes standards, and love to explore. I think it is the curiosity of INTP which make them superior on their league~
Hey, I’m an INTP here, which also likes arts (except the ones related width music), and some sciences (history, geography, zoo biology). I hate human medicine, economics and politics. So, your personality type doesn’t define this kind of likes, you can do whatever makes you happy. I suppose you live in a first world country, not fighting to survive, so I suppose you can work from whatever you want, as long it makes you happy. I live in a third world country, so my family is pushing me to study something I don’t like, only to survive
I'm literally in shock of mine (INFJ), growing up I wanted to be every one! A veterinarian as a kid, then a writer or librarian throughout high school, and lastly a psychologist/counselor! Which I do for work now, as a youth peer advocate in mental health. It's amazing how accurate it is.
Your comment said "... Read more" after, "lastly a psycho..." and I was thinking, that has to say psychologist because there's no way they wanted to be a psycho when they grow up lol
As infp, I've already struggled through three of those. But it looks like I got four more options now. It's hard figuring out what's good for me, I appreciate it.
I mean, you don't have to be in a punk rock band or something. A musical performer could just mean sitting on a stage and playing an instrument. Also a marketing manager isn't the one going out and talking up their product, they're just the manager. Being an introvert doesn't mean being a shut in.
Being an introvert doesn't mean you can't work with other people. It just that you will need to take a break in between each time you have done your job. I know some people who meet dozens of people each days for their job and also enjoy what they do. But they are also introverts and would rather spend their leisure time doing something for themselves to regain energy. With that being said, personality is just categories, each people is different though.
@@zuko803 I in INTJ literally stand for Introvert though. Some may be a bit social than other but they still a introvert, other with that same trait, but a lot more social will be an ENTJ.
I am ENFJ and I can say that it is very frustrating to want to change the world and feel like you have that unavoidable responsibility. I remember when I started studying, my career is History, and as I belong to the humanities, I couldn't help having meltdowns every time I realized how bad society has always been. However, as I have been learning more and over the years I have become more realistic and now I know that I can contribute in my own way. My passion is research and Public History and even pedagogy is an excellent option. ❤
it’s so weird how when they talk about your personality type, it’s almost as if they’re describing you. i’m an infp and i share the same passions as the jobs listed for it (aside from marine biology lol). i do find myself lost in thought quite frequently. it feels so weird knowing there are people who’s personalities are almost identical to yours, yet so different.
I am a veterinarian, this was my childhood dream. I also have the INFJ personality type. I first solved the test 8 years ago, I solve it from time to time on different sites and it always comes out the same. Of course, your personality type may vary, these are not absolute definitive results, but what I mean is that you cannot be an ENTP while being an ISFJ, you should do this test when you are alone and think correctly. Not the person you should be, but the person you are.
As an INFJ my career choices when I was done with school were either studying physics or languages to become a translator. I decided to go with physics and I love it. On the side I write and hope to publish my first books one day. I already published a fan fiction and it was successful, so I know I can do it c:
im an infj, i write multiple stories but mainly keep them to myself or friends for entertainment. but i wish to be a doctor or a psychologist since i've always been interested in the human mind and body.
I hope you will be able to do it. I'm an Infj and I want to be a veterinarian since I love animals a lot and want to learn as much as as I can about them.
I think it fit pretty well for me. I tried music producer, and even though I don't regret the experience, I am doing translations at home and am a thousand times happier not having to deal with that madness.
Why is this so accurate? the infp sounds SO much like me and the Jobs/ Carrier they Show there Are like literally my dreams. I want this so so badly. Just to imagine being an artist or a therapist makes me so happy
I'm an INFJ-T and a Mental Health Counselor ! I strongly agree, honestly. For me I am the kind of person who can not stop worrying about others, or cant not be concerned with the issues going on around me. social work is an amazing outlet with my strong desire to help others everyday.
I’m an INFJ and I once thought of becoming a veterinarian! Someone once said that I could be a psychologist. But I have passion for art the most! I just love it so much!!
INFP and ENFP suits what I enjoy the most in life considering that there's only 1% difference between me getting INFP and ENFP. I think right now I'm at the right path for myself
That's cool, I want to be a entrepreneur but guess what, I'm average. I don't do bad neither good in school and academics so I will first try to organise my academics and then I'll move on to learning new skills
I am not even surprised to find so many INFPs. We are so indecisive and seek out right options for us more than others. And I love how most of us relate to all the above works. I do too. I like to play piano, am a digital artist (still learning), love animations, write stuff, am interested in psychology and have even helped people with mental health. But we also want money. The only difference between us and others is that they can prioritise money over their own values and we can't. So...Data science might prove to be a good field for us❤️
Since I was 6 years old I always wanted to become a veterinarian to help animals because I always felt a close connection to Mother Nature and her creatures , but now I am 14 years and my job idea has changed . I now want to be a therapist or psychologist .
I want to be an artist, I'm really good at drawing and painting, but I'm also great at reading people and absorving their feelings, i think i'll be a Psychologist
@@dumbass8003 yes ofc! I'll never leave a poor helpless animal alone to die . INFJ-A and I’m a Registered Nurse.✨ Growing up I feel I was always in tune & good at reading people & their feelings. I considered being a psychologist and a creative arts career, but ultimately chose nursing b/c I love figuring & helping people out.
I am an INTJ and I am a teacher. I used to be a Layout Artist but as it goes on, it gets boring. So I ended up becoming a teacher. It enables me to learn new things and lots of ideas. Planning the lesson ahead, organizing the class. It's like the perfect job for an INTJ who yearns for new knowledge, facing challenges, solving problems and planning ahead. (It also gives us the satisfaction of superiority with the students. LOL)
I think INFP fits on me since I usually like being alone sometimes, and I am just mostly quiet during public. :´) Edit: this content is a really good one, I'm really interested in these kinds of videos! :D
I am an INTJ so I got musical performer, physical therapist and teacher. I seem forward to these career paths but I already know exactly what I want and who I wanna be.
Well I'm an INTJ too but due to crippling depression I'm unable to focus my mind on one goal. Sometimes I wanna be a freelancer and sometimes a pilot. So idk what to do.
as an infp, those are literally are the careers i like and been struggling to decide between. on one side, i really like dancing and singing, so i'd like to become a music artist, but i also enjoy drawing and painting, so an artist doesn't seem that bad. im really into psychology and the human mind, so i think i could also be a mental health professional. i also really like writing my feelings or things i imagine, so i would also like to be a writer. and lastly, i also really like taking pictures of landscapes and the sky, i just feel at such peace when looking at nature and i like to transmit that peace onto a everlasting memory by taking a picture of it. so basically, it's not that i don't have options, i just have too many, and the hardest part is that i like all of them just as much😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫
ISTP here. I was already planning on going for Technician, and possibly into Engineer later on before I watched the video, and this only helped strengthen my conviction.
As a INTP, my expectations were low, but i can't really complain about the results, i would like most of those careers. I'm a civil engineer, and i dislike it, so I was already going for the web developer route and the college professor sound good.

I'm glad that you said Writer for INTPs and not Scientists or something related to Math as I personally understand Literature a lot more deeply than practical subjects. For me, it can get annoying to an extent, to think about plenty of un-realistic predictions, visualizing someone and basically talk to myself, making people around me thinking there is something wrong with me. That is why Diary Writing, Journalism etc. are so supportive for writing down analyzations and particular honest opinions.❤❤❤

we all know that istp can easily learn a new skilled trade quickly ... but which of these 2 do you think is the most suitable for ISTP ...? electrician or mechanic ... ???
Electrician cause I can cause a power outage for the entire neighborhood apart from me
@@phenomen485 give a logical reason based on the ISTP function ...?
And when it comes to perceiving I have no idea... sorry.

INTJ here. Do you need help finding your type?

Hey, I’m an INTP here, which also likes arts (except the ones related width music), and some sciences (history, geography, zoo biology). I hate human medicine, economics and politics. So, your personality type doesn’t define this kind of likes, you can do whatever makes you happy. How could INTJ be a teacher, a musical performer and marketing manager while we oftenly exhausted to socialize?

I want to be an artist, I'm really good at drawing and painting, but I'm also great at reading people and absorving their feelings, i think i'll be a Psychologist
Same here before, when I was young my parents decide a career for me is to become a lawyer, but now I change, I want to become an artist
You still helping animals xb
@@dumbass8003 yes ofc! I'll never leave a poor helpless animal alone to die . Its my duty as a human being to be kind and thoughtful towards the environment and its wildlife because at the end if the day , Mother Nature gives us food , water and shelter . She keeps us alive so the least I could do is give out a helping hand .

Human are Animals ,
So when u become a therapist u gonna still helping animals

As an INFJ, I agree with my career choices!!
Same!
Me too! I’m literally going to university to do psychotherapy and counselling in September 🤯
@@tegajakpor2226 Awesome!! Good luck!
It's bad if i like more paint then write if im a infj or these are the best options to develop according to the personality?
@@Shi.Kay. it's not bad... plus this is not skill based....if you wanna be more of an artist then be it
I am an INFJ and I love art too
INFJ-A and I’m a Registered Nurse.✨
Growing up I feel I was always in tune & good at reading people & their feelings.
I considered being a psychologist and a creative arts career, but ultimately chose nursing b/c I love figuring & helping people out.
This has to be one of my favorite channels lol. I love psychology :D
LOL)
“We are what we think. All that we are arises with our thoughts. With our thought, we make the world.” 🙏🏽
Personality: *Nothing*
Career: *Sitting in a room doing nothing*
damn
I'm an INFJ, I'm actually studying to be a graphic designer but I'm studying psychology aside because it's a subject I really love
as an ENFP i've never paused a video so fast when i see product manager coz that's what i do rn and omg this motivates me to keep on going! damn 🥺💗
I think INFP fits on me since I usually like being alone sometimes, and I am just mostly quiet during public. :´)
Edit: this content is a really good one, I'm really interested in these kinds of videos! :D
I like being alone but I'm not too much of quite person or loud and the part about the work I CAN TOTALLY RELATE TO THAT
The fact that i want to become a professor (of physics, well after being a researcher) says this is pretty accurate, nice vid
I'm an INFP and this is so accurate, my dream career does involve writing and drawing
So idk what to do.
as an infp, those are literally are the careers i like and been struggling to decide between. on one side, i really like dancing and singing, so i'd like to become a music artist, but i also enjoy drawing and painting, so an artist doesn't seem that bad. im really into psychology and the human mind, so i think i could also be a mental health professional. i also really like writing my feelings or things i imagine, so i would also like to be a writer. and lastly, i also really like taking pictures of landscapes and the sky, i just feel at such peace when looking at nature and i like to transmit that peace onto a everlasting memory by taking a picture of it. so basically, it's not that i don't have options, i just have too many, and the hardest part is that i like all of them just as much😫😫😫😫😫😫😫😫
Don’t limit your career choices to a single category. As an ENFP, I find software engineering very satisfying.
Stay thirsty my friends. uwu
I’m an ISFP and I’m obsessed with anything that has to do with programming 🧍🏾
Im an Enfp too and studying in Fine Arts and Design. 😊🌼
Same here i was just thinking about that
Hi, extroverted version of m-
Uwu ruined that comment sorry

True, cuz the Barnum effect applies to the MBTI stuff too.
Still fun to read and learn about these kind of stuff tho.
@@clownman2594 ig... But when you learn about cognitive functions it's more then Barnum effect.
Agreed
@@blackpheonix8246 Compared to my career where a mistake can cost millions and people's lives, hell yeah it is. Besides, each new project is like a puzzle, which can be fun
I’m also an INTP and I wanna be a psychiatrist but I’ve thought about being a Director or a writer
I’m an INFP, and the career choices I’ve thought about are actually mostly the ones you talked about- I currently want to become a movie producer or artist or maybe even author :D
wow I'm an INFJ and I'm actually going to take psychology for my course. I thought of being a veterinarian because I love animals and also a writer, specifically a ghostwriter or poem writer (in the past) but I got more mature and was planning to either be a school counselor or industrial-organizational psychologist in the future. And I saw this video so I think I should really go with psychology.
I love how in ISTJ had Zuko to represent Honour. This actually really helped me to better understand myself and potential career choices in the future, I’m an ISTP
eyy im also an istp XD
I think my brother is an ISTP and he owns his own business as a private investigator (mostly insurance fraid cases). He enjoys it because he's not stuck behind a desk, and he first got hired at that job by someone he worked with when working the census.
I am an INFJ, i remember i once told my parents that i want to be a Psychologist for my future career. They didn't let me. Instead i now worked as a Lecturer, a semi-psychologist for my students i guess 😂
Just remember what they said to Beyonce and look at her now, you write your own future, you define you, life puts obstacles in the way to make you fall but if it's what you really want then get up in finish the job.
@@Omarbg95 Yup, thank you for the advice! I am pretty satisfied with my career for now, but please do wish me some lucks so i could try and finish another degree, hopefully in psychology 🥺💖
@@ninonewshinee Well I wish you the best of luck my friend, to become what you speak. 😎
@@Omarbg95 thank you so much! Amen 💖
@@ninonewshinee Your welcome
WoW, I felt like a INTP failure just for being a music composer and music professor. But I was wrong
Psych2go: Honor
Zuko: Thou had summoned me?
Exactly like Zuko’s picture was on there right?
This video gave me goosebumps, when I tried to search my Personality Type out of curiosity, and I looked for my Career Type, it is exactly the same job I have right now. Legit that surprised me.
As an INFJ, being a librarian would be the dream job for me. But I really like accounting as well so that's what I'm going to do in the future.
I became a librarian instead of being a prefect like most students would want to, best 4 years of high school 🥰 I feel so at peace and our librarian auntie is so sweet, she always buys us food and feed us hehe.
@@squishybol533 same! I was a librarian in highschool too. Yeah, just being in the library felt really peaceful. I wish I could do something that brings me peace and enjoyment like that in the future too.
I’m an INTP! I never took a test because I don’t trust those lol but I looked up what each letter means. When I grow up, I want to be a manga/cartoon/anime creator, writer, and artist! I think your description is pretty accurate! I remember when I was younger, I wanted to be an art teacher. And when I was 6 and 7 I was so obsessed with composers and knew all about them so it would be cool to be one!
I’m an INTP - working with kids in education turned out to be perfect. It scratches the itch of problem solving and creativity.
Maybe focus on what you want from the job and not the label itself. Considering what I like the most in my work, it’s a match with the video 🥰
I’m INFP and I want to be a video editor when I’m older 😁
We have one of the greatest gifts of all in my opinion, which is simply to IMAGINE. We can make or think of anything if we put our minds to it and it’s amazing B)
I'm an ENFP and when she said Musician I felt so SEEN
I've always wanted to be a musician or a news reporter, SO THIS IS DOPE
ISFP here, currently an optician... I can tell you straight up this is NOT the job for me lol... this job actually makes me miserable. Super happy to be starting a new job soon.
Hello fellow ISFP :)
As an INFP that's planning to study psychiatry/mental health in the future, this really suits me :) good to know that this is something that definitely matches my personality as well
And Suga (INTP) being a writer, composer, producer at the same time.
@@yoshimochi3651 no I think he and Jin are INTP
@@yoshimochi3651 no he said he's an intp
hm
@@jewels9459 they did take the 16p test, so I'm not sure if it's accurate tbh. Jin does seem like an INTP, but at a closer look, Yoongi comes off very INTJ like. Many people have differing opinions on it since the accuracy of the test they took is questionable. Likewise for RM, a lot of people debate whether he is an
INFJ or an ENFP because his cognitive functions resemble those of an INFJ.
I am sure that Suga is INTJ.
