Hi Dr. Jayaprakash, an issue that I've seen with these pronged dispensers is that they gunk up over time from skin flakes/oil/pollution resting on hair etc. and that there is no way to clean them. Using a needle will push the gunk further in, and we can't even blow it out from the other side.
I was wondering if you have any advice for guys who are not currently experiencing AGA yet would like to be proactive and prevent it or at least slow it down as much as possible. Of course, minimizing the side effects would be good since we're treating a condition that we don't have (at least for now).
Finasteride tablet every now and then? Topical finasteride?
Invest in a laser cap/helmet?
Would be interesting to hear your thoughts since nobody is really talking about early prevention and are just focusing on treating the problem when it has already occurred.

Dr. Vikram, very interesting product. Ease of application and number of application are a big factor in the use of Product. I was just wander what you and Dr. Russell think about cosmeRNA? From what I see it's like minoxidil but it requires less no. of applications. Do you think we could see more Products like this In the future?

It always seems to me...that with a laser hair comb...just...forget about 'combining'..and instead....hold it in place...for a certain period of time...and ...then move it to other locations...and...I think it would work much better...Since you'd be giving the scalp..more of the laser light...in each section. You could time..how much to hold it for each section...Does that make sense to you? Thanks!

Can you please speak to the efficacy, or your opinion, of applying Differin Gel (Adapalene), Retin-A (Tretinoin), or another retinoid to the scalp prior to Minoxidil to aid absorption? If so, thank you!
just use minoxidil and finasteride (if u are a man use finasteride ) that’s it

Hi there. Would very much like to know your opinion on heating foam minoxidil for ideal application. Topical minoxodil has a long drying time and can leave hair greasy. Foam minoxidil doesnt have these issues but can be annoying to apply thoroughly to the scalp itself when your hair isn't very short.
I found some helpful advice in using a hairdryer to quickly melt the foam inside the minoxdil bottle cap and then just applying it with a pippete dropper and this seems to give me the best of both worlds. I wanted to know if this heating of the foam changes the efficacy though in a negative way
I'd recommend Qgain. It's a liquid form of minoxidil that foams up when you pump it. It dries really fast and comes in a huge bottle (3 months worth I think), for about the same price as 1 month of regular stuff. I just pour enough out to fill a regular liquid bottle of minoxidil and use the dropper with it. I'll hold the end of the dropper right next to my scalp and dab over and over again in lines from the front to the back. little droplets comes out with each dab and it only touches the scalp and maybe a little bit of the hair that's right above the scalp. I dab it quite fast, sort of like I'm tattooing my head but not quite as fast. The whole application only takes a couple minutes if that and 1 bottle lasts ages, especially if you're only applying it once a day
@@notme5744 looks like this contains propylene glycol though, which from what I understand is the ingredient that causes the greasy texture in the hair
@@onetwo8847 It does contain propylene glycol but in a different form. I've been using it for a few years and it doesn't make the hair greasy at all like the regular liquid does. it's a foam, but it only turns into a form when you pump it so it's liquid before that. It's a totally different consistency. Worth a try anyway. It's great stuff

There's PRP which stimulates hair to grow and a stem cell injection but that hasn't really taken off as expected. I've been using a topical minoxidil with finasteride for 5 months now and it has made huge improvements on my hair growth.
