Already released WIP for channel members. Actually recording might be a wait. A lot of pieces ahead of this.
Hey Richard, I've been watching your covers for quite some time, and i find them, along with your tutorials very inspiring. As for myself i had piano lessons for 5 years back when i was a child, and now approximately 10 years later i want to start playing again. Recently i tried to learn sheet music again, and today i discovered your recent piano lessons that im currently watching and trying to learn from. Im able to play standard pieces like a more advanced version of Requiem for a Dream and Yann Tiersens Comptine d'un autre été, which I both learned reasonably quickly. Now i want to get further into anime pieces and want to be one day able to play pieces like animenzs Bauklötze, which you btw played phenomenally! Now I'm searching for pieces and ways to practice and become better. Any tips and pieces you can recommend for someone like me that could help me get into Anime Piano?
Keep up the great work!
It’s all about experience. The more you play the better you get. You want to do pieces that are challenging but not impossible to take to the finish line. For that, you can go to my Animenz playlist, everything is sorted by difficulty.
Having taken piano lessons, you probably have basic techniques like scales and arpeggios. To get into Anime music, you need an upgrade on reading rhythm. For example, the 3-3-2 rhythm that’s everywhere in Anime pieces. Identify these in the music and try to play that convincingly.
Also, the slower you’re willing to go, the faster you can learn. My No 1 tip is, play any given music so slowly that you can play perfectly. Don’t play the notes until you’re sure. Extremely important.
@@RichardYangPiano That helps a lot, really appreciate it. I guess now it's up to me and how much effort I put in. Thanks
Mr. Richard, are you going to make the lesson of "My dearest"? I'm currently learning it.
That falls under the “way too difficult” category. If you are one who can eventually play it, you wouldn’t need a tutorial.
Are you planning to learn crying for rain by Minami?
WIP already released for channel members. Full release might be a while away. A lot of stuff in the queue.
