C1 owner here. Slightly brighter on the C2, but I don't feel the need to upgrade or can see it worth spending an extra grand - not necessary to be truthful. The C1 is an absolute awesome TV and unlocks full potential of my PS5 and Series X. Super happy with it! Thanks for the video mate!
Man, I have the 48C1 for about 6 mo now and I always craved the CRT quality, I used the best LCD's out there but they never felt like that CRT purity. Now with the OLED on the desk, used only for PC Gaming, the sharpness, the purity of the image, it's just amazing, OLED for me is total change, I've been waiting for this kind of panel for decades.Next to the 48 inch I have a 55inch C8, basicly one wall of my room is full of OLED.Even the gamer friends when they come and visit, they pull out their phone and take pictures of the screen and ask if the games are visually modded (witch they aren't).
Yeah, I agree it is far less noticeable in this video. This gameplay segment is extremely dark though with little detail to be seen honestly, which is why youre basically forced to use night vision.
@@christianmarmol3230 yes, again, due to physics and "pixel aperture ratio." Smaller TVs - with their smaller pixel pitch - are simply less able to produce light compared to their larger counterparts.
Is there a huge difference in terms of image clarity? I know the C2 is smaller so in theory it should be sharper, but I can't really tell from the video
To close to call. Great tv's both but as a C1 owner I will take it over the C2. The C2 is not worth the upgrade over the C1 due to minimal upgrade. Besides that I dont really care for the build quality over the C1 and I know I am nit picking on that. Manufacturers I feel have really cut corners these days when it comes to build quality just ask Samsung with their 95B OLED. That being said. Excellent video Chaos.
Man i have a c1 and love it but I really need it cailbrated sooo bad. How much of a difference does it actually make? BT2020 is awesome but when you are 709 that's when you can see how far out the calibration is
It makes a difference, and would certainly improve shadow detail. That said, i really dont think its some otherworldly difference that everyone needs to undertake. A good analogy would be an awesome sports car, its going to look and perform wonderfully regardless, but if you wash and wax the thing, it will look that much better.
Watching this and the last of us 2 comparison you made for these TVs. Is it just me or is the C2 slightly more blurry during movement than the C1? I thought the C2 has better motion handling but I'm not necessarily seeing that. It's a big deal breaker for me.
C1 is bigger, cheaper, has no bugs, display 120fps without motionblur unlike C2 and comes with a WBE panel if lucky. No idea why you'd ever choose the C2 tbh, don't fall for it. but these videos are greatly appreciated nonetheless!! I'm just saying that's my verdict
Bigger is not better for pc monitor usage. C2 is brighter, has better shadow detail, better motion handling, and in general faster menu navigation to name a few things. If I had to choose between a C1 and C2, im getting the C2 all day. That said, if you already own a C1 and are happy, then there's no need to worry about upgrading.
They look close here, though im not sure how youre saying the C1 is better. This wasn't necessarily the absolute best clip to illustrate differences, but I like the gameplay sequence, its badass. That said, the C2 does have slightly better brightness when in night vision mode, at least that's what i noticed.
Also, why is it nonsense to compare two different TVs? People are interested in real world comparisons - it helps them determine if a purchase or upgrade is necessary.
Watch with a 4K/HDR display for optimal quality!

Basically the same. C2 might be a bit cleaner and slightly brighter in some spots, but any differences are miniscule here.
Agreed here.

They do look amazing, I agree.
I have the CX 48" and i just got the C2 42" to use it as a monitor. I noticed the C2 is brighter than CX in HDR .
Weird. Didn’t notice any shadow details improvements on the C2 this time. It was noticeable on the The Last Of Us gameplay.

Nice video...but maybe u should have used a 55 Inch C2 since the 48inch and 42inch don't use the Evo technology and aren't as bright
According to LG, the 42" do use "Evo"tech.
PS - I dont have the 55" C2.
@@steadychaosproductions3376 Ok but also LG mentioned the bigger panels are brighter
@@christianmarmol3230 Yes, due to "physics" they claim, not technological differences.
@@steadychaosproductions3376 I've seen the difference with the 55inch panels and bigger compared to the C1 and theirs definitely a difference

Can you please make a updated video of your tv setting for MW including game optimizer
Is there a huge difference in terms of image clarity? I know the C2 is smaller so in theory it should be sharper, but I can't really tell from the video
nah, its not a huge difference. Its noticeable, but as you say, i think primarily because of the C2's smaller form factor.

Is there any black Crush present in the C2? I Can see alot in the video but might be the combinación between the camera recording and my cellphone.

the C2 does have slightly better motion handling. The C2 is slightly off axis from the camera here, which adds a bit of a blur/duplication effect.

What motion blur man there barely any. The C2 would be a huuuge upgrade for me I have a Sony x900f led tv with a va panel
C1 is better and kinda non sense you're showing side by side cause in the end you can't see the actual difference atleast the viewers
