Oh nice, I was listening to a bunch of your other tracks and came across this one. Proud to say my great, great grandfather Norris Garrett Bell was the chief engineer of the Ghan!
The Ghan is an passenger train in Australia. If you want to learn more, go to Wikipedia and search for "The Ghan", should imidiatly pop upp on both english and french Wikipedia.
I just saw this on TV and had to jump on TH-cam to confirm it was! Good job dude! Such a distinctive sound, man. I haven't listened to your stuff in what feels like years and still immediately recognised it!
1:10 always gets me. The rythm of the doors shutting combined with the harmonies of the music is just GENIUS. It's really the best part of the song. I always find myself coming back to this song over and over throughout the years. Fantastic work as always, Nick. I really hope to see you come back to the U.S for a show... Come to Florida!

I heard a portion of this a few months ago in an ad for The Ghan and assumed it must have been another Pogo masterpiece. Turns out I was right. Hellz yeah!
This should be Australia's tourism ad, probably would bring more people here than any other ads they have run. It is catchy, interesting and shows the beauty of the country.
I am in complete awe of this visual and auditory masterpiece. It first caught my eye a few months ago and all I could say was WOW! So I was incredibly exited to finally see it air as the advertisement for the Ghan - the Great Southern Rail Journey, in which you can travel through the centre of our magnificent country. This seriously makes we want to immediately take off on this journey :D Keep up the amazing work Nick Bertke, Andy Stankovich and all those who where involved ♥♥♥
I just happened to see the ad on the television about five minutes ago. Instantly though, "why, that's surely a Pogo remix!" Came on here to check, and quite please to see it is.
The camera used to shoot this was a RED EPIC and it was six days of very hard work on the train to get this. The lightning actually happened when we were filming, followed closley by a typically heavy desert rain storm. I was the cam,era assistant on the shoot.
Some day I want to travel on Great Southern Rails just to see those magnificent train carts from inside by myself. They look really beautiful and majestic.
I'm no psychic, but I was just thinking, "Man, I really hope Pogo makes some more songs this week." Sure enough lol. Thanks a lot for this, I was starving for good music again.
Your music is so artistic with both sound and visuals, a part of me lays back and let the music flow, and a part of me watches as if it was National Geographic.
Honestly these real conversation remixes or rehashes are some of your more enjoyable work outside of the 'disney cliche' For some reason, seeing a real persons face to match to the sound is extremely enjoyable and this is something i have found with both your own personal mix and the vesna mix.
I remember seeing this on TV....as a freakin commercial advert.
Mate ur in the big leagues now 😁
This video clip is an advert on Australian TV. Really nicely done.
Such an underrated set of tracks. Plus having this amazing quality video almost 10 years ago?? *chefs kiss* 😊
This is the clearest 720p video I've ever seen. It almost looks 1080p. Amazing!
Nah, looks like it’s in 4k
Just saw this as an Ad for the Ghan on TV yesterday in Melbourne. Really happy for you Pogo!
Seeing this ad on TV now, straight away recognise it.
Oh nice, I was listening to a bunch of your other tracks and came across this one. Proud to say my great, great grandfather Norris Garrett Bell was the chief engineer of the Ghan!
This is truly advertising at its finest...
One of my favorite mixes; love the camel noises.
There's a deep, frustrating ache of wanting to go and experience these kinds of things, and your videos help. ♥
Yeah and life is too short 😢
Loving the use of the sound of the train running on the tracks as the beat. Great work!
Pogo mate, if you're not part of the opening ceremony whenever Australia host the Olympics next, there's something wrong.
2032?
@@Goldbergfan91 nah I’m thinking 2036

I love this, despite it being an ad. Firstly because it's just great, but also because the marketer who thought to get this done is a genius.

Travel by train remains amazing. I can't get enough of it.

I think it's great that companies appreciate this format for advertising purposes.
I saw these ads on tv and I knew it was you! Once again, a breathlessly beautiful mix.

Thank you Nick for finally uploading it on youtube, have only been getting the short snippets when the ads run on SBS :)
The music evolves as your trip continues. I love that. :)
