Damn Ace can be cute and hot at the same time. I love how you get to know his character more deeply by constantly talking to him and exploring his environment, like you do when getting to know a real person. He's not exactly the main character but I hope he gets to be for Type Next. It's clearly a reincarnated version of him but any version of him is great!
I started playing type 0 HD on my ps4 ...and so far Ace is the weakest of the bunch.I guess he becomes a badass later on ,yes ? another thing when leveling the characters...do I really have to select each of them for a mission if I want them to level up or do they level up in parallel even if they aren't being active ?

He was one of the most powerful in my gameplay even when at the same level as the others. Perhaps it depends on how you develop him and use him. He was good for close range and long range, for offense and defense as well. I'm sure you finished the game by now. How was it?
If this is Ace, and if they are going to have the games separate from each other, then my guess is that they are reincarnations of the Type-0 characters, or they'll have Ace there (since he played a big role in Agito) to be the one connecting thing between all the games. That's just my guess.
When Ace landed and we heard the birth-shriek of Suzaku (the Vermilion Bird aka Phoenix) I had myself a regular fangasm, complete with rapid clapping and a giggle fit. If Ace has been chosen to be Suzaku's avatar/champion, it makes one wonder who will be the avatars/champions of the other three celestial beasts (Seiryuu the Azure Dragon, Byakko the White Tiger, and Genbu the Black Tortoise) this go-around, right? Let the speculation begin!
Well... I never played Type-O I've only read up a bit about it but I might have heard some stuff regarding this. OBS! The following is without a doubt spoilers for FF Type-O! As I said I haven't played the game so I can't answer for how much of this is facts and how much is speculation. But who knows, you might get something out of it that leads you closer to the truth... The one they call "Mother" recreated the world over and over again as part of an experiment until the time they finally won the final battle by choosing to remain human instead of becoming la'cie. In the secret ending of Type-O we see class zero all alive and just enjoying daily life at school, this being the result of "Mother" recreating the world one last time to let them live happy lives.
Ace and the rest of the original class 0(Machina, Rem, Tiz, Lean is not included) can be dead or alive in type-0. First, we can assumed that they are all dead. they died during the final battle because they absorbed Arbiter's Phantoma(the final boss). this Phantoma is not good and fatal for human to absorbed. Second we can still considered them as alive because Arecia removed the crystal from the very beginning which means, from the very start, there is NO war, NO death, NO lçie and no Agito/Arbiter. this ending is the "What if..." scene, you can unlocked by equiping summer outfit(all members) until you finish the game --its the alternate ending. This Ace(in this video) is not related to the Ace in Type-0, thought they are the same Ace, but this video(and possibly the Type-next) is not existed to the universe of Type-0. so the previous series and the sequel is existed in different universe. Possibly, Cater's Deja Vu is also their memories in previous life/universe, just like what Arecia say during the above the 6million life(?) scene, "this is the 600 million cycle", or i guess, i forgot Arceia's line during that scene"

I`m stoked that there will be a sequel(played the psp game). First: this is a good ff game, in my opinion anyway. second: But it had a highly troubling final act. so this is good news that they will add another story to this really interesting ff universe! when playing the hd edition you should always keep in mind that this was a psp game in 2011, you might be disappointed otherwise.

Well... Remember, this in the same universe as the 13 series. Which means that Etro and the other Gods are involved with the humans as well. That means the Gods of the Nova Crystallis Series probably wanted the souls of Class Zero to be reborn again and that's why we see Ace alive(barely, before he is revived).
