I'm in the Knoxville, TN area and I'm getting out on some of the local greenways and trails. It's a struggle at the time being but I feel better and losing weight too! Thanks again for the guidance and inspiration. Also, God bless you for keeping your faith and standing by it regardless of what others may think or say. I believe Liberty Bridge is an asymmetrical cable stay bridge designed by Miguel Rosales who specializes in structural artwork and distinctive bridge designs. Liberty Bridge is unique and beautiful, but similar designs on a larger scale by Rosales may be seen in and around Boston, Massachusetts.
I Love how Greenville is always improving the SRT.. I need to get Back to Greenville.. it's been over a year since I've last been there.. This world needs more Sean's.. What a Great Perspective.. Love the Swamp Rabbit Trail! Looked back thru our photos and we rode that trail in June 2018. We didn’t realize until your video that there had been some additional things added to the trail. Thank you for the beautiful, informative & humorous videos of the many bike trails you have shared. I enjoy your love for God, and the great praise music too. I just started watching your videos in the evening while I work in my home office. I have never been much of a cyclist due to some physical issues, however, my husband and I just recently bought some class 2 ebikes so that we (65 & 73 years old) can go on some adventures together. I wish there were more places like these in Texas. For now, we are riding the red dirt roads of the Piney Woods region of East Texas.... planning to venture out towards South Carolina in the near future.

We will be visiting the Swamp Rabbit trail for most of our rails to trail riding. The French Broad Greenway is going to be closed for a while as well as the Ecusta Trail due to Helene 😢😢 I wish I could attach a picture of the trail head across the river from the Biltmore Estate. You can’t tell if there’s a trail there or not.
If I park at the zoo, I always get turned around on the downtown piece through Falls River park. I love stopping for a snack by the Furman lake! It is so pretty, and restful!
Scott my trip to geeenville has been postpone to the 9th weather permitting so maybe we can meet then. I thank you for the clarification of the two trails in Spartanburg and Greenville. I understand now I want to ride the swamp rabbit trail. Me and my friend been dying to see this trail with all the bridges. Also I watched your video were you were in Charlotte on the john Polk pineville greenway the Chinese restaurant you ate at is just across the freeway from my office lol small world. @@southernebiking yeah… I had originally planned to go to Chattanooga this weekend and do two different trails that I know are awesome…But looks like they’re gonna have to wait till next year. I did High Bridge in Farmville last weekend and had a blast. I’m gonna put those out as a part one and part two in November.
I grew up in Greenville, moved away for many years, and recently moved back. The SRT is new to me. I've been on it a couple of times, but haven't fully explored it yet. How are the bike facilities in and around the SRT? For example, do businesses provide good places to park and/or lock your bike? I'm looking forward to checking out the cool things in this video.
Yes, there are lots of bike shops in Greenville and Travelers Rest, and lots of bike racks and trailheads...Greenville is becoming quite a cycling-friendly community.

Living in NC, but have wanted to ride this trail for a while. We are holding back due to the traffic in Greenville. We came through on our way back north from Georgia and it took us over an hour to get through the city on 85. Where is the northern start? Love your videos, thanks so much!
@@judywelday9387 Yes, the traffic in Greenville is terrible. Lots of people have been moving here for the past several years. The trail actually begins a little bit north of Travelers Rest. If I were you, I would avoid riding it on the weekend.
Thanks for sharing this excellent review of several iconic places on the SRT. And, being a graduate of Furman University “back in the day” when it was affiliated with the SC Baptist Convention, I still enjoy biking the campus and enjoying the beauty of the grounds. Plus, reminiscing on the time when the lake was frozen solid and students were seen ice skating on the lake. Wow, 5000 subscribers in the near future and I remember when you were nearing 1000 subscribers. I see a full time TH-camr in your future. Thanks again for the video. Sorry to see several of our Rail Trails so devastated by Helene but hopefully they’ll be back in service soon except the Virginia Creeper Trail which will take major dollars and time to repair. Keep biking and sharing the videos.

They’ve really gone off the rails when it comes to moral and spiritual things today. But you’re right, it is a beautiful place and I’m glad they open it up to the public. There were lots of fallen trees and a few busted-up fences 3 or 4 weeks ago...but it's all cleaned up and good to go!
