Thank you again Scott for your channel, it’s the best on the Planet. We rode 5 of your trail reviews last year. We already have Jekyll Island and Virginia High Bridge planned so far. My wife asks please focus more on sounding food recommendations. She loves her little rewards mid journey or at the end. That’s why the SRT is so good with all of the food and drink spots and great places to just stop and people watch and talk to fellow riders. We’ve met so many great people on the trail….But I digress. Be Good.

Absolutely can't stand ebikes...they are motorized vehicles and need to stay off walking and bike trails...

Hi Scott, We just watched this video and it was funny because we just rode the Roanoke River Greenway today! It is a very nice trail, all paved riding mostly through Roanoke City along the river. We ate at the Green Goat for lunch and it was great!

Ridealongadventures is a great youtube creator to look at. It you head for MCT trails in west central IL you can spend a couple days on trails, and even ride to the St.Louis Gateway Arch, and the famous Katy Trail with a few miles of on-road connector.

As always, another great video. I noticed you have the Mendota and New River trails on your board. Done both of these. They are great. The New River trail had damage from Helene. Need to check on it before going. The Mendota trail had some downed trees and was partially closed. It's cleared and back open now. Hope to see you on the trail this year.

File this one away Scott the Salem lake Greenway goes through Old Salem a lot of history there from the moravians coming from Europe to flea persecution the trail goes through that area the Moravian village you can ride your bike through that lot of history there and there's some cool restaurants and you can even rent an Airbnb in the Old Salem area. Old Salem Winston-Salem North Carolina.

This was a very helpul video...thanks. I believe we are all anxious to get on our bikes again and get away. Now, I agree that many of those foreigners might not understand "butt cracks". As a woman who lives in the heart of horse country, I know there has to be misunderstanding when foreigners see farm signs noting "breeding shed". What the ...what? 😂 They're everywhere around here.

Next time don’t tell them about the bike…. check in go to your room and sneak it in the end of the building! I routinely pass off two Vizslas as one dog! On hiking trips to the Black Hills of South Dakota….. I just put the same color collar on each one when I take them out. 🤓

You need to take a week's vacation to the Midwest. The Tunnel Hill trail in southern Illinois is sweet. The Raccoon Valley trail out of Des Moine is the nicest trail I have been on. It is a 70 mile loop, so it might take a couple days. The High Trestle trail is a MUST, and it is right be Des Moines.

Scott, pure gold as always. I agree hit the Facilities prior to hitting the trail. But here's a pro tip for the audience. Stop by your local Walmart and pick up a box of individually wrapped Dude Wipes. Always handy to have in the car or on your bike when nature calls. Plus they work great to clean your hands if you ever throw a chain, but I carry a couple rubber gloves for that as well. This little tip will help keep the Joy in the Journey!

Gettin an e bike in your future may be an issue because most hotels don't want e bikes in their rooms due to the fire issues.
