I was born in Charleston, spent 13 weeks on Paris Island, traveled the country and the world, and found Greenville to start settling down. Love it here.
@@TampaAerialMediaplease review Conway next time you're Myrtle Beach It's a historic rivertown founded in 1732 that we're going to be moving to we finally listed our house in Ocean View
Clemson grad here, '67. I don't get back to Clemson much these days, but I will say this. The school and town have grown tremendously since my days there. It looks great to this old man. GO TIGERS!
I live in Tampa and for a few weeks at the end of 2012 and beginning of 2013, I traveled to Greenville for a construction job in one of the towers downtown across the street from a large cemetery. Although I was working 10 hours a day 7 days a week and didn't have my own mode of transportation so I didn't get to see as much as I would like but I fell in love with the place I want to move there.
Best video of the Greenville area ever. My husband and I are moving to Greer (just outside of Greenville) and this gives us some ideas on great places to go on the area. Not to mention, it's a great video for showing our friends and family members why we are moving there. Thank you!
We are retiring in 4 years and in July we are going to Asheville and Winston-Salem and Greenville SC to see the areas. Greer is on of the places we want to look at, we want to look at the outer towns of Greenville, but not to far from there. What made you pick Greer?
Randy you're the "Guru" of TH-cam I think, or maybe 🤔 the "Spielberg" of adventure vlogs !!! Thank you so much for all the entertainment! I already 💕 your new partner !
My home! I have to say that many of our best citizens came from other places. They have an appreciation of this wonderful city that I love to see. There are lots of international companies here and many come here for work. Then, there are those, that chose Greenville and then found employment here.
One of my favorite parts is the many old mills that are still here in Greenville turned into apartments! I live in one of them and just can’t get enough of it
I live in the Greenville area. Love this vid! And I love the narration throughout the video 🔥 Especially cuz this man’s voice sounds like Patrick Bateman 😂😂😂
Every time I watch one of your videos I want to go where you are! Such great video and commentary. I am amazed how great Bailey is doing. I thought a new travel partner would be difficult but you have chosen well.
Great video of SC. I’m not very familiar with SC but it looks amazing. Bailey looks like she is getting more comfortable being a puppy star. She is adorable. You are too Randy. ❤
Good video of Greenville. I have watched a ton of them and this really has the best coverage. I typically get bored with these things after about 10 minutes and actually watched the whole thing without pause.
Thankyou, yea for awhile people had been telling me "you need to do Greenville", and after the first day there, I could see why, what a great downtown and surrounding areas
Thanks for making this video! Before moving here there wasnt very good videos of Greenville online and all the videos about it were made by real estate agents so its nice to get a beautifuly poliahed video by you. Found your videos recently when researching for a trip and really enjoy them.
Hi Randy, again after stressful weeks (especially before christmas) you helped me to calm down with your videos 👍 Your gift is such a blessing for me 🙏 Have a good time my friend, and give Bailey a big hug. Blessings to you from good old Germany 👋
About the parking in downtown Greenville, the privately owned lots can get pricey, but the city owned garages are very convenient and are $1 an hour and a max of $7 per day. Some are even free on the weekends! That's just one of the many great things about this amazing little city!
Great video, I have been doing a lot of road trips and camping and staying in hotels when needed. I am taking my trip from Florida stopping in St. Augustine, Savannah, Charleston, Greenville, Asheville, then hitting Stone Mountain on the way back to St pete. This is one of my most anticipated stops on my trip! might spend 2 days here. Bringing my e bike with an extra battery to go and explore!

we live in the mountainous forests in the Upstate right along the North Carolina border, about 28 miles north of Greenville. moved here 3 years ago. love it here. went through some tough emotional times in the last 2 years with a family member. when things got hard for me, i would go sit out behind the house in the forest. your right about the trees. the environment drew a lot angst out of me. i called it my "green therapy"
Just discovered your channel! We live in the upstate and this just made us appreciate and love it even more! We also watched the Helen GA video, which is somewhere we've been wanting to visit for quite a while and hope to go later this year. You do an amazing job and your little Bailey is such a trooper! Thank you!
What a beautiful and informative video! 🤩 We will be be in this area in fall this year. Looking forward to! Now my brown rescue poodle from China also wants this Buc-ces hoodie 🤪 Sooo cute!!! 🥰
Can one get to the other side without the bridge that goes across the falls? Im afraid of heights and I would literally faint on that bridge. I would need a bridge thats much wider with more enclosure or more siding.
Watching your beautiful video again cause we will visit the area in September… A funny question: when you go to Buc-cees, can you take the dog in, in your backpack?

Only once was I ever questioned going into Buc-ees with the backpack and have been in there about 40 times, and that was the Buc-ees in Fort Valley GA....I would say if you want to see the outlying areas shown in this video you'll want to allow about 5 days.

The Upstate is too crowded from the steady flow of people from other areas of the country. Thirty years ago it was great. We are leaving for good in November.
Please, if moving to Greenville, remember why you left where you are leaving. Greenville doesn't need to turn into another NY or California. You will make friends much easier if you assimilate to the culture that's there. Thank you.
