He never cites Danzig as an influence. They were both pretty much doing their own thing around the same time that just happened to be similar; like a lot of artists.

It's cool to see that they're not feuding anymore. I remember when danzig was playing the royal grove in lincoln ne. white zombie, pantera, gwar & suicidal tendencies were playing at the perishing center lincoln ne same night. After the shows everybody would go hang out at the royal grove. We showed up & glenn & rob were outside just beating the hell out of each other. I guess danzig was pissed that people went to the zombie show. He called the blaze radio station & called rob zombie out. Rob left after the pershing show & met glenn in the parking lot of the royal grove.
