Misfits were a mysterious band when I was in high school. They sold a lot of t-shirts because of the image, but they only had 1 album released at the time…it seemed like they should’ve been as big and as prolific as the Ramones. I can't tell you how much I love Danzig era Misfits. It's the definitive era of punk that influenced hardcore and speed/thrash metal, and much more. They are a very important band.
pog. Your profile picture is the album cover for Pantera's live album "born in the basement". I love Pantera and dimebag, plus the live album.
I'd pick All Hell Breaks Loose as my all time favourite track. Such a great song, it rips af

Who would of thought that would happen. I grew up in the ‘80’s and I remember having a backpack full of tapes for my Sony Walkman that should have been glued in my hand. Misfits, Dead Kenedys, The Casaulties, the Cramps,

the REAL era
Horror Hotel is such an underrated song
The band of my teenagehood. Catchier hooks in harder music never written.
Misfits were a mysterious band when I was in high school. They sold a lot of t-shirts because of the image, but they only had 1 album released at the time…it seemed like they should’ve been as big and as prolific as the Ramones.
Anyway, Danzig totally nailed the aesthetic of campy horror. It would be nice to have a proper documentary about the band released someday.
We need an actual legit misfits documentary.. All the others are fan made which is cool n all but u know. Good video tho bro 💯
Check out the No Dogs In Space podcast. They do an excellent two epidode history of the misfits. Marcus does some excellent research and great presentation
