These were REALLY creative! I have some fresh tomatoes from garden and have been wondering what to do with them. I can blanch and try some of the things that you did. I watch A LOT of different cooking videos are yours are always a "step up." You do great work.... keep it up! I helps a lot of people!!!
Great ideas! Adding a bag of lentils would have added a ton of protein and other nutrients. I do love all the fresh food you used. Not seen as often w budget meal videos.
Oh my this was a wonderful video. I’m going to try some of the dishes with different food, Such black bean sauce instead of squash. Thanks for the inspiration.
Hi, I tried making the soup but found it a bit bland so added red lentils, which are cheap , and a bullion cube , turned out great. Could you add lentils to your list Of frugal ingredients, keep the vids coming , really enjoying your content😮
Thanks for the ideas. I'll bet these additions were really good in the soup. I don't think I've ever tried lentils. I've seen them and heard of them but I fight think I've ever eaten them. If I did it was when I was a kid. I'd love to explore this food and possibly add it to future meal ideas. Thanks for the suggestion!
@@frugallydelicious. Red lentils are quick to cook, 15 mins, and can be made into pancakes, " meatballs" added to thicken soup or casserole, are cheap, healthy and delicious, give them a go, cheers🥴
My hubby is G.F. and I recommend the Bob's Red Mill bread mix. I make in bread machine. You can do her French toast using that. It's still affordable as well ($6 at Meijer) and will freeze. Hope this helps you.
@@lilkimmie7322 thank you for that ! Bobs is exy down here in Australia, freight n all that. But I meant more that all meals had flour, either pancake, pasta or bread, and bread is good for filling tummys for not much $ and is high in protein so I get people use it,,,, Plus it tastes fabulous. Some days I just get cross that I cant process such a common ingredient

Great video! I prefer stuffed peppers with red, yellow or Orange! I wait until I find them on the clearance rack. They also do very well in a crockpot
Great tip!
