Watching you is like a tour of my kitchen - those white plates with the green flowers were ones I grew up with, I still have a few of my Mom's. And those bluish bowls, we have those too! Can't wait to try these, they all look so good!
@LisaCatLady, I have those Corelleware plates too, but in gold. They were my mom's; I inherited them after she passed away and remember eating off them when I was in school. They went through the four of us kids; I swear, they are indestructible.
I would have added mixed veggies to the turkey dish because I love one pot meals. We freeze cooked meats quite often. In the meatballs, I add a pinch of the nutmeg to the sauce. I also do that for chicken ala king. Great video.
Your cheesy tortillas remind me of the budget nachos that I still make to this day: just tortilla chips with cheese melted on them in the microwave, and salsa and a little sour cream added on top. Love the recipes; now I want Salisbury steak and Swedish meatballs! Thanks for the yummy ideas!
Oh, these all look so good, wish we could smell them! It makes me hungry when you say how good it smells ❤. The local food pantry gave me a lot of mushrooms so I am going to make your turkey casserole and substitute mushrooms. I’m going to use the Swedish meatball sauce and pour it over noodles mushrooms, and onion. Ditto with the Salisbury steak I’m going to make the gravy with mushrooms and pour it over mashed potatoes. I like the tortilla snack and I think with a side of beans that would make an actual meal. I will be going through some of your older videos to see how I can use some more of these mushrooms. I depend on SNAP and food pantries, so I substitute as a go along using what I have. I don’t eat meat because meat doesn’t like ME. You did a lot of cooking today after having an easy sandwich day. But it was a fun day and we enjoyed it!!! ❤❤❤❤
I love the idea of replacing meat with mushrooms. I try not to make too many videos using meat for a few reasons. I know a lot of my viewers don't eat meat or don't buy it cause it's so darned expensive these days. I also don't eat a lot of meats. I'm a potato, beans and rice kind of gal. But these were definitely some of my faves as a kid. Definitely give the cheese and tortilla snack a go! And absolutely add beans. It's such a a fast and tasty meal. Lol. I loved making that sandwich video. It was probably in my top five best times I had making meals on this channel. Lot's of folks commented on their favorite sandwich combinations. I loved reading about them too! Thanks so much for your comments! I love chatting with you! ❤️ I hope you have a great weekend!

When I make Swedish meatballs. I don't use rice I don't use noodles. I make mashed potatoes.
Lol I am sure your Mom knew you all were snacking, and on what, since those items disappeared fast.
Lol. Probably. We thought we were sneaky though. 😝
