They logically saw the benefits and extrapolated into self driving motor homes, which is an awesome idea. They will talk to everyone about this amazing experience when they go back and will influence a lot of new buyers and all that thanks to one simple ride. Congratulations!
Very impressive, I only spotted 2 super brief interactions with the car to change lanes and another to continue through an unprotected left. FSD is getting so close to being able to ride share autonomously!
I saw the interaction to change lanes, I missed the unprotected left. One additional interaction I noticed was that when the car pulled into the hotel Omar had to drop the cruise control speed setpoint quickly.
I saw the 17:32 intervention to lower speed. Can others list the timestamps of the others? I didn't see them. That was an amazingly good drive. Can't wait.
His experience is not normal, other areas is no where near as good. I even have next release of v11.3.4 and it will likely be 3 to 4 weeks before Tesla engineers fix the map data in my area.
I’ve still noticed that on many left hand turns, FSD will try to slightly (or in some cases majorly) cut the corner, which is totally fine-it’s what most human drivers would do-except when there’s a car approaching opposite direction in the other lane, instead of seeing it early and adjusting appropriately, FSD tends to see the approaching car midway through the left corner-cutting turn, and then make a “dive out of the way” maneuver to avoid. You can see a very subtle example of this behavior at 2:05, although often times it’s not subtle at all and requires an immediate intervention by the human babysitter.
Fabulous! Thank you Omar! Progress can be seen, and the presence of passengers offers potential for unbiased feedback! Please continue to take passengers!🎉
The latest FSD updates were big, big improvements. My M3 is no longer driving like a bar hopping drunk. It drives like its got balls now and my attitude is slowly shifting from "Ugh. What's it gonna do now :(" to "Oh. What's it gonna do now :)" if you get my drift.

Came here for the video. Stayed for the small talk. Keep this stuff going. Spread the good work, my man! One question - what is the FSD level you have set - chill, standard or assertive?
Just got my v11.3.3 this morning. So far I like it. I drive Uber part-time in Canada. We have no right turns on Red, but the car can't read the sign, so it tries to go anyway and I have to disengage. Some of those things need to be sorted out before true Ride Sharing Rides. Great video, thanks for sharing!
@@TopLineComputers1 There are many of these signs in San Francisco and I had to keep slamming on my brakes to stop my car from turning on red. Some intersections have a red arrow in the traffic light, but I don’t remember what it did in that situation. It’s been a while since I tried driving in San Francisco again on FSD because it’s “beta”, so everything is my fault. Sorry, I can’t afford to be Tesla’s Guinea Pig. I’ve also noticed that vision based navigation is terrible when compared with the system that used the radar in the front bumper. Once Tesla opens up enough Superchargers I will no longer feel the need to be loyal to Tesla.
That was something I thought about during the video, because this "approval" to go right on red isn't something global or even in the entire country. This is something that Tesla needs to address in the software with specific toggles/settings like: "stop at all red lights" or maybe even download a country's specific set of traffic rules, so it auto adjusts to each location
I really appreciate driver's modesty. And the passengers are simply lovely, like kids with a new toy. He should have showed them what a beast the Performance is. Just for a hundred yards, then they would praise even more the smoothness of autonomous driving

I believe that Tesla would never be an issue when it comes to using FSD. The problem is that there are some city where they don’t take care of the roads which aren’t fit enough for TESLA vehicles. Here in Boston, we have a lot of roads with no lane marks but lot of potholes.
Most times the objective of FSD youtubers is to GO through 20 roundabouts and 15 unprotected left turns PLUS the hardest streets in town just to say FSD beta isn't ready and everyone needs to come back next week to watch more.

I know these roads very, very well. In fact, you drove past my house on Bay street! I have a 2016 Tesla X so I don't have the FSD. I have to say, this was a very impressive demonstration. These are tricky roads to drive with lots of distractions, traffic signals and pedestrians. The car even made a safe right-turn-on-red as it reached Bay! I've been assuming I'd have to wait a bit more before a solid FSD, but this video changed my thinking. At this point, the Tesla FSD does better job than on these roads than my 6 decades of driving experience.
The real success come when it KNOWS it is able to speed up or slow down rapidly to avoid a sudden real accident in real time such as an on coming car or people.
That's an impressive drive with good customer feedback on V11. FSD Beta changed lane in anticipation of the car ahead slowing down and making a left turn. Thanks Omar.
Thanks Omar! I forget how to talk to Average people about how incredible the technology is and how far it’s come. You say just the right amount to peek there interest, but not overwhelming with the technological details.
The great thing about the current state of Autopilot/FSD is that you effectively have 2 drivers. More difficult to get into an accident when both the system and the driver have to make a mistake at the same time. I love using Autopilot on the highway and can't wait to get FSD. I'm on 2023 firmware, so just waiting for that release. =)
Yes and no. That was the problem with Air France (I forgot the flight number). The computer malfunctioned. The pilots were trying to correct and the plane nose dived into the ocean. CyberLyft has been doing these FSD drives test for over a year. My testing of v11.3.4 is it’s not ready for Rideshare. Some flaws I have found is after pulling out from a driveway you almost always have to come to a stop before it can be engaged. 99.9% of the time while driving on roads near me fail to allow engaging while in motion. Several times it has stopped on a right turn that has a no stop merge lane. Coming out of a no stop merge lane 80% of the time it actually crosses the white lane into other lane of traffic coming from other direction. In exiting highway it straddles a divided lane instead of getting in proper lane around a corner. They need to build the map data to fix all these issues as instead of using Vision like they say this behavior clearly indicates they are clearly using map data to handle vision shortcomings. Each version also seems wipe out previous map data. After a few weeks they should have enough map data to push map fixes for these bugs.

Imagine a fleet of self driving cars belonging to the city and not to individuals and you could eliminate all cars parked in the streets, plant trees, put up benches and let kids play. Or everyone of us could own a tesla.
Amazing video man but I have 2 things, I'm on 11.3.6 and my car keeps asking to put my hands on the wheel I don't see yours doing that, the second as an Uber driver you don't have to ask the passengers if they are ok with you letting your car drive them?
even while you're needed in the car, this is a win. The job of an uber driver will be much less mentally exhausting if they use this. They'll still feel fresh after a full shift
V11.3.4 is really good. Done breaking but usually for a reason coming around a curve with pedestrian crossing. Most of my issues from 10.69 are solved. E have a sign with a picture of stop light before the stop light and it stops. A lot of good stuff like moving over for lane splitter (motorcycle), going through parking lot. Almost door to door driving. Much more secure feeling esp freeway and on uneven roads. Feels like the steering is being held more firmly
What Tesla is doing is just great. Letting people take a controlled risk to improve their software on the go. No other manufacturer does involve it's customers like that
Also there is huge difference in your version that everyone else. It allows you to not keep your hands on the steering wheel. Everyone else has about 30 seconds to occasionally 45 seconds before being prompted to put hands on steering wheel.
Does Tesla FSD nag less in San Francisco? No blue screen reminders on the entire trip. Enquiring minds want to know. 🙂 I'm also curious about how you have your FSD settings configured? Lane change read really smooth behind that truck.
If you put that self drive system in every cars then they can communicate each other and i thing accident chances will be reduced. Self drives cars network system.
In a few spots, when the Tesla was stopped at a light in the center lane, it crept up until it was a little behind a car to its right; to me, this is being careful of a car door opening or driver moving ahead a bit to the left. In other words, a reassuringly smart move, what a careful, fully aware human driver would do. Very promising!
Great video. But I'm wondering why your car doesn't give you the "hands on the wheel" warning that I get in mine (a MS). I don't think I saw your hands stray to the wheel even once!
Do you need to buy FSD to see more details on the screen like that? Or is it standard and an option you need to turn on? We rented a Tesla from Hertz and it had the visualization on the screen like that but i don't think it was FSD. We just bought a new Tesla several days ago and it seems pretty vanilla not showing much of the surroundings, only cars in front of us in our lane and cars coming up behind us. No side roads or vehicles in the other lane or crossing in front of us at intersections etc.
Congrats on having this video as a work cited in Ark's recent Tesla price target. This a great concept for a video and really well done. My confidence in a Tesla robotaxi service becoming a reality before end of next year. Thanks Omar!!!
There's so many Tesla's in SF that it's basically HD-mapped. This currently wouldn't be pleasant in other big cities. But Tesla will keep selling more cars, getting more data, and improving their capability so it will get there!
Did Scuber as side gig for 5 years. This was pretty impressive. As a driver, picking up passengers often involves having to play by ear the best places exactly where to stop, pull over, park or even swing around depending on the circumstances. You can’t stop and block traffic to wait in most cases. So when riders aren’t already standing right there waiting, as in most cases with riders, it will have to learn what to do.
I do Uber as well, tried with the previous version , almost crushed 4 times in a week , will give this new version a try. Question, how do you make the FSD full screen ?
I’m convinced that San Francisco is a decade ahead of any other city in the world. No way to duplicate this kind of performance with the beta anywhere else!

Imagine a fleet of self driving cars belonging to the city and not to individuals and you could eliminate all cars parked in the streets, plant trees, put up benches and let kids play.
Or everyone of us could own a tesla.
Great demeanour and charming customers. Beta did great
I like how confident it is now. Also the fact that it makes fewer and fewer mistakes.
This becomes like aircrafts. You set up the autopilot, destination and there you go.
Why need commercials if you have this ❤😮 it’s getting really good, omg.
wrr
Amazing video man but I have 2 things, I'm on 11.3.6 and my car keeps asking to put my hands on the wheel I don't see yours doing that, the second as an Uber driver you don't have to ask the passengers if they are ok with you letting your car drive them?
even while you're needed in the car, this is a win. The job of an uber driver will be much less mentally exhausting if they use this. They'll still feel fresh after a full shift
That was pretty cool Omar thanks for sharing!
Amazing! Also the passenger's voice remind me of a EP commentator for some reason.
Ayy That’s My auntie and Uncle! :) Knew it as soon as I heard them 🏴
Love the Video
Surprised to hear my family 😂
Amazing, would love to watch more such videos :)
Nice video, curious how did you connect your Tesla navigation to the uber navigation ?
V11.3.4 is really good. Done breaking but usually for a reason coming around a curve with pedestrian crossing. Most of my issues from 10.69 are solved. E have a sign with a picture of stop light before the stop light and it stops.
A lot of good stuff like moving over for lane splitter (motorcycle), going through parking lot. Almost door to door driving. Much more secure feeling esp freeway and on uneven roads. Feels like the steering is being held more firmly
Just got V11 today. No interventions needed on my commute back home. 30 minute drive. Typically had 2 or more.
😂 That’s an older couple in the back.. this is great video
Shout out to Cyberlift, the OG BetaTaxi
What Tesla is doing is just great. Letting people take a controlled risk to improve their software on the go. No other manufacturer does involve it's customers like that
Also there is huge difference in your version that everyone else. It allows you to not keep your hands on the steering wheel. Everyone else has about 30 seconds to occasionally 45 seconds before being prompted to put hands on steering wheel.
Why do you not need to touch the steering wheel? Normally teslas require that.
Maybe you can disable that alert thing
Now you are competing with Cyberlft! :) Good stuff.
Does Tesla FSD nag less in San Francisco? No blue screen reminders on the entire trip. Enquiring minds want to know. 🙂
I'm also curious about how you have your FSD settings configured? Lane change read really smooth behind that truck.
If you put that self drive system in every cars then they can communicate each other and i thing accident chances will be reduced. Self drives cars network system.
This is very impressive - I have ignore FSD videos for over a year since the progress seem stuck but this is real progress - FSD is here!
Excellent video with top-notch passengers, I hope you tipped THEM =)
In a few spots, when the Tesla was stopped at a light in the center lane, it crept up until it was a little behind a car to its right; to me, this is being careful of a car door opening or driver moving ahead a bit to the left. In other words, a reassuringly smart move, what a careful, fully aware human driver would do. Very promising!
Hi, wondering why no FSD nag for you. It would be great if you can answer. My FSD v11.3.3 nags, reduced the frequency though.
Awesome as always. Most exciting technology out today, hands down.
Great video. But I'm wondering why your car doesn't give you the "hands on the wheel" warning that I get in mine (a MS). I don't think I saw your hands stray to the wheel even once!
Shoutout to Scotland. ;)
It is hilarious how we as the general public and drivers are teaching the Tesla, our job autonomous taxi here we go
How are you able to keep your hands off the wheel? Or do you have it in the lower portion of the wheel.
GREAT Vedio!! That's for filming and sharing. 👍👊🙏
Best FSD video till date.
Oh wow! Zero interventions and so smooth!!
Wow, impressive. Robotaxi seems closer than I thought.
We need more of this!
