@@MAKII724 You'd think it would have some sort of heads-up display, but nope, the most sophisticated vehicle on the road doesn't but you can get a Camaro or Corvette with Heads up.
You can install one without issues. Gas doesnt last longer. Gas doesnt offer as much range as Teslas do. And also a Tesla can last like 20 years with a single battery change, now, with a gas car, you also do spend alot of money in maintenance, gas etc. Which if calculated together, they would make like 20k or more, and the Model Y's battery is 13k. Not forgetting that some Teslas have hit 1milion miles. Research it and you will find some 1 milion miles Teslas.

This will never happen where a car will be 100% autonomous in all conditions, there are just too many variables that can happen on a real road in a real environment with chaos as the scenario.
You are not supposed to take your hands off. These are driver assistance, not meant to be driving for you, at least not yet. The car is beeping because he has taken his hands off the steering wheel for too long, not because it has lost control. If you don't know what you're talking about, best to just keep quiet. Tesla autopilot is miles ahead of competition so you would be stupid to complain about it
The beep was because the driver is supposed to keep his hands on the wheel even while autopilot is enabled, please understand the car before writing an essay

Does the Tesla have a kind of motor brake, just a battery brake, so to speak? Like when you drive with a internal combustion car, it looses speed when you stop press the gas.
Only way id consider one of these is if it became mandatory and EVERYONE drove one. I like the car but the lack of an engine block as frontal protection worries me when sharing the road with trucks and suvs etc...
