This is a buy for customer builds, once the sales are on. The only confusion I'm having is on the black pro SKU, I swear the controller was mounted in a different position, and the case comes with 6 fans, but the controller only supported 5.
I think this is the first in-depth review of the new Flux case. Great job! It's on my list, and just subscribed! I do have one question though, related to thermals, how are the acoustics? I've read a thing here or there that it's also extremely quiet, even with the stock fans.
Its good that they make cases for all individuals because I have absolutely no interest in small cases and I do like a large tower :) There is no right or wrong here, you like what you like ;)
I know it's personal opinion/preference, but this isn't a large case, IMO. More like on the larger end of a mid tower size. The Flux Pro is a larger, more full tower size case.
I have a question, maybe it’s obvious but I’m confused. For the PSU fans, could you replace the single fan with other regular fans and turn them around (to be exhaust) or do they specifically have to be reverse pitch/flow? Thanks!
Its great to see Antec back in the game, for a such a long time they were the among the best cases n psu manufacturers, sad to see so many produce better cases, while antec was sleeping, but good to see them wake up to to the market.
Comparing this to the pro, the biggest difference it looks like for the components i'd be using is that the pro would be easier to work with, simply due to the extra space inside (especially at the top) but I'm wondering what the difference in temps would be between the pro and non-pro on a like-for-like build (or as close as you can get to that) 🤔
The case is good for someone who would place it under your desk rather than on it and don't care much about the look.(why TG panel then?) However at same price I would choose LianLi without any doubt.
@@luigi695 It would depend on the AIO and GPU model, so you have 408mm an asus strix 4090 is 357mm which I think is the biggest GPU on the market so you get 51mm for all the rest a radiator can be around 25-30mm thick normally but they get up to 40mm in custom builds. fans would have to be mounted on the front of the case to have enough room IMO but it would fit and work just fine.
@@lucasco031194 thank you for the information, do you think I should wait until the Antex Flux Pro is in stock again, or just buy the basic Antex Flux?
@@luigi695 it would depend if you need more space to justify a full tower vs a mid tower. Both cases look good and have good build quality but the PRO(full tower) has like 50mm more depth which would get you that extra space for a push-pull configuration for radiators at the front if you need the extra cooling. It also has that psu side mount which makes routing cables or testing things outside of it a little easier, the display for temperatures which is nice, and more bays for storage. In my opinion, unless you want to go for a top-of-the-line build a mid-tower has enough space for everything, it's cheaper and also 4kg lighter which is often overlooked when buying but quickly remembered when you have to clean a full-tower.
At 8:05 you talk about the size and say that it is not a full tower, correct because you have 2 versions. Flux Pro: Full Tower Flux: Mid Tower This last one is the one in the video
Remember when we all wanted wood panels on our station wagons? No, you probably don't. But I do. It was a fashion trend that quickly faded, and so will this.
Wood panelling on interiors was a different matter and was sometimes well done, also a quick internet search reveals fine looking wood grain steering wheels that are not cheap.
if the wood was removed and the budget non rgb fans were replaced with rgb ones it could be great competition to Corsair's 7000 and NZXT's H7 in its current state? seems very niche for professional work which is already majorly taken up by pre builts: dell, hp etc
It looks like every other atx case ever made. There's nothing new here. And the price is ridiculous. Get rid of the fans and sell the case for $50 and maybe someone will buy it.
If you don’t like it that’s okay. But expecting this case to be $50 is ridiculous at best. You clearly don’t have any knowledge about build, manufacturing, and logistics to make a case like this using real wood. If you want plastic wood look, then $50 from a low quality construction case seems very reasonable.

Looks like a great case. Would love to see air cooling build. It screams air cooling with fan options and airflow in it
Not only did Nick show us the wood sample, but he also shared his joy of the smell of morning wood er... wood in the morning.

I have a c8 and love it. Not really keen on the flux but if a customer wanted one i would have no problem building in one.
That Threadripper board in there looks right at home xD
white-yellow resembles Autumn........and it looks sooo good
Great looking case ..
Banging new track! If it's not new then that's the first time I've heard it.
Thanks guys.
Really like the case, and love the videos as always!
Does this case need extra dust shrouds? I didn’t notice one on top or in the front panel.
you know who else has been killing it, GEAR SEEKERS
The wood in the morning joke. I'm dead 🤣
I never thumbed up so hard.
Dont thik i would sniff mine though 🤣
Absolutely zero interest in large cases personally. But this is a very good option for those that do enjoy such things. Well done.

what's the difference between this one and the pro is it just 1 less fan and no digital temp gauge ?

The only thing that bugs me about this case is that the 5 fans are 3 different type fans.

Will Arctic Freezer III 280mm fit on top? radiator is very thicc
would this case take an ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 420 A-RGB on front panel
How much would it restrict a GPU

Hi, I'm a little hesitant, in terms of noise and temperatures, which is better, Antec Flux or Nzxt H7 Flow? Thanks
Atx case of the year?
Somewhere Montech saw the quality and value of this case and will now release one in 2025 for $90 USD.
I would love mesh panel instead that glass
I’m gonna be adding some wood trim to the front of my meshify C.
What about antec flux pro, which is a full tower case. Can't seem to find it for sale in Australia.
It's being released a few weeks later. You'll probably see it on sale within 2-3 weeks.
Gear Seekers have done it again! Another banger of a video
There hasn't even been enough time for you to have watched the whole video......

How is the noise levels?
nice looking case
Will it fit a top mounted Liquid Freezer III 360?
Yes.
