I used a Hayden fan controller from EBay to control my fan relays. It uses a temperature probe that attaches to the fins behind the radiator. My other systems have a fan control. The Hayden was less than $20 when I bought it. Use 70 amp relays and a 60 amp fuse on both of my fans too.
@@rodriguezluisu87 it’s a nice sound to hear. My 1st step in knowing my ECU is good, is reading it with a scanner. My handshake step 2a is the ASD relay clicking. 2b is the throttle opening and closing. Good luck with your swap!
Thanks for all the help you provided with your videos! I been driving my audi hemi swap for about a week now! And i noticed the engine starts until the 3rd cranking attempt! Do you know if there is anything i can do to make it run at the first attempt?
@@rodriguezluisu87You need a live scanner or another ECU to try. Hard to say why your engine doesn’t start till the 3rd start. Does it ever on first attempt?
The first step would’ve been to see if it’s talking with a reader. That ASD and fuel pump handshake is a good sign. You still don’t know if any other drivers inside are bad until you put it on an engine and run it.
There was a PCM repair place on eBay I’ve used to check out a PCM. They test all the circuits and sent it back for about $100. I don’t remember the name of the place, but I’m sure you can find it.
@@skidmark7199 I found a MV2 hp tuner on Facebook for $200. If you have your own, the $100 for credits is worth it. You can remove your own Skim AND tune it or have it tuned. If you don’t have one, you’ll pay the $100 for someone else to have your PCM’s credits.
Is it possible to control rad fans with the ecu? Because i don't see any wire output from ecu for fans! I use ALLDATA for my diagrams

Thanks! I got my ecu, pedal, and throttle body, hand shake today! My swap is going into a 2007 Audi A4

is there a simple test to see if the PCM is fried or not? I get the handshake. is that enough?

Cool, thanks for the help. I have 3 PCMs. All 07 Durango. So I don’t think I’ll send it in. It’s already 100 to unskim it with hp tuners

I bought an mv3. Unskimmed 1, 2 to go. I msg with diyhemi/sublime tech to make sure I’m doing it right
How much do you charge for that wiring harness?
@@eduardodelatorre8610 I do not sell wiring harnesses. I just make videos showing what is working for me. Yours still not working?
@@shelbydogg I can get the engine to turn on by bypassing it and it idles very nice, but I can’t get it to turn on with the key or shifted into gear
