i feel like for most of those people they just completely ignore game design and writing when the graphics arent hyper realistic, they might as well watch a movie at that point
Another problem is how superficial people are with judging pretty much anything, the most iconic example (for me at least) being the "Terraria is just 2D Minecraft) argument, which was dumb as Duck
to anyone that says "oh the graphidscs areenttt guuudddddd" in a game that looks really friggin good just say go tf outside the real world has great graphics theyre super ultra realistic lol
@@borger4505 could even replace the word terraria with starbound because its kinda like minecraft but thats just surface level in the gameplay. the 3 games have things different about it starbound has you going to different planets in a space ship!
I hate people who are so focused on graphics always I mean yeah, when a game has good graphics you can just love how good the game looks, or if the game looks like actual garbage its understandable the complains, but some people reach to the point of every fucking detail ever, ignoring completely things like Music, story, or even gameplay, wich is like one of the most important things in a game Man I just want to enjoy my Isaac with Retro Vision always active, leave me alone
@@Maukiki but you don't UNDERSTAND they didn't model every single one of links individual armpit hairs and give them realistic physics so its automatically a worse game than a title-screen only version of crazybus. (/s)
A friend of mine won’t play Mario 64 because of this and I think it is stupid. Why do people black themselves from incredible experiences because they can’t see every hair on links head
For me personally, the worst instance of people complaining about graphics I can recall was Pokemon Sword & Shield. We're probably aware of the whole tree Debacle by now, But outside of those select few instances I do think It's a genuinely good looking game. Up to snuff with newer releases? Maybe not, But You can't call a game awful Because a game in the biggest media franchise in the world didn't have 8000k Visual details. I really liked SwSh, But the amount of hate surrounding it put me off Pokemon for quite a while until I got back into it recentley.
I always wondered, what's even "good graphics" for these people. and do they understand that it's literally not the only thing that should be considered in a game?
These people are not talking about graphics only in their reviews that foekoe showed. He just took a few reviews, highlighted the text where these words are written and inserted them into the video, ignoring the review itself. Yes, the reviews are not objective, I agree with that.
Summary The Electro Dragon is the 13th troop unlocked in the Barracks. They are powerful air units with mediocre health and high damage. Electro Dragons have no preferred target when attacking; they will simply attack the closest building. However, once they become aware of enemy Clan Castle troops, Heroes, or Skeleton Trap skeletons (either by being attacked themselves or by being near another friendly troop under attack), they will leave their previously targeted building and instead engage the enemy troops. Once all of the nearby enemy troops are defeated, the Electro Dragons will proceed to attack the nearest structure. The Electro Dragon attacks with chain lightning, capable of hitting up to 4 other targets after the initial hit, with each successive hit inflicting 20% less damage than the previous one. In order for the lightning to chain onto another target, it must be sufficiently close to the previous target. The targets of the Electro Dragon's chain lightning are determined by distance, with hitpoints as a tiebreaker; to determine the next target, the target that is closest to the previous target and that has not yet been hit is chosen. If the closest targets are equidistant from the previous target, the one with highest (maximum) hitpoints is chosen. Thus, it chains through buildings with most hitpoints near the primary or previous target while ignoring low hitpoint buildings to make full use of its chain damage. When destroyed, the Electro Dragon causes the nearby ground to be struck randomly with lightning bolts, in a similar fashion to the Lightning Spell prior to its rework in 2020. Strategy Offensive The Electro Dragon has a short range. However, its high damage and chain ability significantly increases its practical reach. They can act as flying Bowlers (taking more space but with superior health, damage and a different hit mechanic) as they can hit multiple targets at once and help funnel in attacks. Electro Dragons are very effective against bases with clustered buildings, because it can make full usage of its chain damage. Electro Dragons work well with the Grand Warden in air mode as he can boost their health and support them. Seeking Air Mines will significantly damage your Electro Dragons. It is helpful to send in air units (such as Balloons) before the Electro Dragons to trigger any Seeking Air Mines that might ambush your army early. They can also help funnel for the Electro Dragons to enter the core of the base. You can also use a strategy called "Electro Surgery" (from the Practice Mode) by using as many Electro Dragons as possible and filling the rest of the space with Balloons. Be sure to include some Rage, Clone and Haste Spells to support the push. A Queen Walk can be used with Electro Dragons by using 4-5 Healers to as many Electro Dragons as possible (also called "Electro Queen"). Although the Healers will use space that would otherwise go to 2 or 3 Electro Dragons, this can be offset by using the walk to eliminate weaknesses for Electro Dragons, such as Air Defenses and/or Air Sweepers. If you have any extra space, you can add in some Balloons to tank for some Traps that may be set off. Heroes (especially the Barbarian King) can tank and funnel for the Electro Dragons, though one should be wary of triggering ground-only Clan Castle troops when using any Hero that isn't the Grand Warden in air mode, as they can distract the Electro Dragons. The Rage Spell and Electro Dragon make a good combo, as they can greatly amplify its already high damage. They can destroy most buildings in one hit, and even instantly kill Archer Queens alone this way (up to level 71). Note that the spell's effect only applies if the Electro Dragon is within the spell's AOE. An Air Sweeper can stall Electro Dragons indefinitely due to their slow fire rate and slow movement speed, especially if the Air Sweeper is high-leveled. To combat this, a Haste Spell can be used to quickly move the Electro Dragons back into attack range and attack before the Air Sweeper fires again, or a Freeze Spell can be used on the Sweeper to stop it from firing at all (though this is often situational, as Freeze Spells are often better used on more threatening defenses such as single-target Inferno Towers). Don't start an attack with Electro Dragons in an corner of a base as they may be split up and taken out, resulting in a defeat or poor attack. When facing an Electro Dragon in the Clan Castle, using a Poison Spell could make it so that the Electro Dragon may not even be able to charge up an actual hit due to it's already low attack speed, which can be helpful for your troops to kill it. Defensive For the lightning arc to chain, buildings must be spaced one tile apart at most. Therefore, by spacing them out further it is possible to drastically reduce their effectiveness. If there are multiple buildings that the chain lightning can jump between, the lightning will chain onto the closest building that it has not yet hit, and if there are multiple candidates for the closest building, the building with the highest initial hitpoints is chosen. Use this to your advantage to redirect lightning away from important buildings; for example, resource storages, despite their non-defensive nature, can be used as "lightning rods" in this fashion due to their high hitpoints. Clan Castle Electro Dragons on defense are very intimidating troops, as the chain lightning can be used to destroy many group of weaker troops while its high damage devastates tougher ones, unless one has a Poison Spell to damage and delay it. Electro Dragons are also able to one-shot lower level Archer Queens. This makes the Electro Dragon one of the best defending Clan Castle troops at TH9. It is able to punish rushed or inexperienced attackers. Keeping an Electro Dragon and a Balloon can kill the enemy's queen even with her ability. Its Chain Lightning allows it to be useful on defense as it can kill up to five spread-out Archers or Wizards at a time. However, its slow fire rate makes it vulnerable to be easily killed by the Archer Queen under her ability; if it is harmed by a Poison Spell at the same time, the Electro Dragon may not even be able to charge up an attack in time before it is killed. The lightning it drops upon death is strong enough to take out entire groups of Wizards and Archers. If you don't prevent the Electro Dragon's Chain Lightning, it will pick off most of your buildings and even take the Eagle Artillery out without it being able to do much damage or even snipe the Archer Queen. If you can see a possible Electro Dragon spot that chains all the way to an Air Defense, then use a Hidden Tesla to redirect the shot and also make sure that Air Defense can snipe that possible Electro Dragon Spot to protect it. The Air Sweeper can push back the Electro Dragon far enough that when it gets back to a building and is about to fire, it can push it back. Basically, it can repeatedly stall the Dragon for a very long time. If you can guess where an attacker will place their Electro Dragon army, then cover it with the Air Sweeper. A max level Air Sweeper itself can push Electro Dragons far enough that they will never reach it. This could force the use of a Rage Spell, Freeze Spell or Haste Spell that could be used more effectively elsewhere. Having a Lava Hound could prove useful against an Electro Dragon attack, as its high hitpoints and large number of Lava Pups spawned on death stalls an Electro Dragon attack significantly. However, since the Lava Hound targets ground only, it will not appear unless ground troops (such as your Heroes) are placed in the vicinity. Upgrade Differences The Electro Dragon undergoes significant visual changes at only level 4 and 5. At level 1, the Electro Dragon appears as a large blue dragon with large azure wings. It has a large horn on the head and several light blue spikes on its back, as well as a tail with flippers. The Electro Dragon does not change in appearance between level 1-3, but its size grows larger. At level 4, the Electro Dragon's wings gain white highlights. At level 5, the Electro Dragon gains a green, metallic collar with glowing blue line on it that slowly gets brighter as the Electro Dragon's spikes light up. The Electro Dragon also produces electricity from its wings.
@@flamboyant_wolf And the tutorials take 18 YEARS to complete. The dating side quest is one of if not the most difficult part of the game it's like the dark souls of tutorials. 9/10 There's little something for everyone
I remember the only review on metacritic I personally remember was on Celeste, with someone saying that the game's fine but they're giving it a 0 because they don't agree with the review score being so high. Like piss off, the review score is meant to show an average user experience, the world doesn't revolve around you.
I do despise Metacritic, I just don't trust reviewers anymore, I'd rather find out for myself without getting bogged by some greedy idiots hooked on graphics and bullshet
Tbh before i buy it, i look the gameplay at TH-cam first, if it's good, and doesn't have tons of bugs like bf2042 hell even cyberpunk i will surely buy it, only if the price is reasonable
Nah good graphics are really fun to look at and its an iceing on a cake but i disagree with people who think that realism is considered only "good graphic"
i value good gameplay and soundtrack. i dont care about the graphics since i play on a shit laptop and i turn down every single graphics setting in existence
This and God forbid the Google play store reviews. I swear most of these weren't even written by a human being but by an alien that is trying to understand our language
i think a really harmful thing about user score is that.. as it turns out, people don't know what intentional artistic choices are and often just go based off of the newest hyper-realistic game instead of considering if the art style of the former actually liie.. aids it. Oh and also generally speaking, people are very polarised when it comes to review score. Which is bad, like, that's really bad.
Well. Artistic / Intentional choices can be bad, like with Balan. What matters is that the complaint about the intentional choice understands the intention behind it. Ie, "I understand that Balan is designed around one button inputs, for the sake of simplifying the gameplay, but all the context sensitive costumes take away the entire point of 'simplification.'"
Developer: *put alot of effort on perfecting the gameplay and the story and making the game realistic as possible* Metacritic:the graphics looks like PS1
People shitting on Undertale and Celeste for "bad graphics" must genuinely be brain dead to not realize that a piece of media not having something that's better that exists doesn't mean it's bad.
I remember someone saying one of the ori games had trash graphics and said they could do better Even though it wasn’t on metacritic, it’s still cringeworthy.
I remember when I was in high school, I was a writer for the school magazine. You know what I wrote? "I kiNDa thiNk MaRio OdYSSey is OvERatEd." The things is, I loved the game?? Ughhh that memory makes me wanna puke, man.
Bruh it absolutely killed me when somebody said Celeste's graphics suck lol. It honestly has some of my favourite graphics, especially in terms of pixel games
I always hated how so many people always consider the only 2 posible scores are either 1/10 or 10/10, and this applies to literally every product or review page
I loved when I saw a person criticising the gta definitive edition, not because it's low quality, but because it was "homophobic and racist" lol what do you expect from a gta game
Those are the same kind of people as the 40 year old moms that get mad at the devs of games like Friday night funkin while they let there children babysit themselves on things like TH-cam.
Since when was gta expected to be racist...? Is racism and homophobia a staple in the series? Not saying it is those things but from what i rememeber none of the games are any of that
@@lavenderchannel5740 then you should probably play the games again. I don't mean that in a mean spirited way, I genuinely think you might have overlooked or forgotten the instances of risque/bigoted behavior There are plenty of "Xist/Yphobe" stereotypes and characters using said stereotypes, which are often displayed as being pretty racist, or homophobic the reason they exist in GTA in the first place was to exaggerate and hyperbolize urban American life in their respective times to absurdity this isnt to say racism and homophobia are integral to the series, or are somehow a good thing but if the series is using stereotypes of American demographics and opinions, and cranking them up to absurdist exaggerations. Then yeah we're gonna catch some racism and homophobia now and then
Already know this is good without needing to watch it. Meta critic is so shit and I don’t know why people listen to them. Remember when Bethesda promised Obsidian bonuses if they got an 85 on metacritic for FNV. It got an 84. I would have given New Vegas a 90-95. I still play the game even today. In fact I have played the game just hours ago.
It's not even trolling. People negative review bomb games for the emotional catharsis, or to counter-act positive scores for something they deem overrated. It's best to treat user scores on Metacritic similar to Steam, if Steam had a third middling option. 7-10 is Recommended, 4-6 is Meh, 0-3 is Not Recommended (with some small margin for overlap depending on the text of the review).
4:11 Undertale has bad graphics!?! What's next? Minecraft is too blocky? Sonic is too fast? Terraria has too many mods on it's mod loader? It's literally the intention!
undertale does though. The others not really but maybe it's cause Undertale is more darker in its color. More blander. I prefer 2d pixel games to be bright and colorful.
Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes aren't the best source for media criticism. At the end of the day, you can express your own opinions whatever you want, whether you like it or not. *Advice:* Opinions aren't facts neither all the way around.
Game specifically designed to push the limits of the strongest console of this generation: "graphics where okay" Game with horrendous mocap dance segments: *"MAJESTIC PIECE OF ART"*
I love genshin impact. however, There are two types of computer graphics: raster graphics, where each pixel is separately defined (as in a digital photograph), and vector graphics, where mathematical formulas are used to draw lines and shapes, which are then interpreted at the viewer's end to produce the graphic. Using vectors results in infinitely sharp graphics and often smaller files, but, when complex, like vectors, take time to render and may have larger file sizes than a raster equivalent. In 1950, the first computer-driven display was attached to MIT's Whirlwind I computer to generate simple pictures. This was followed by MIT's TX-0 and TX-2, interactive computing which increased interest in computer graphics during the late 1950s. In 1962, Ivan Sutherland invented Sketchpad, an innovative program that influenced alternative forms of interaction with computers. In the mid-1960s, large computer graphics research projects were begun at MIT, General Motors, Bell Labs, and Lockheed Corporation. Douglas T. Ross of MIT developed an advanced compiler language for graphics programming. S.A.Coons, also at MIT, and J. C. Ferguson at Boeing, began work in sculptured surfaces. GM developed their DAC-1 system, and other companies, such as Douglas, Lockheed, and McDonnell, also made significant developments. In 1968, ray tracing was first described by Arthur Appel of the IBM Research Center, Yorktown Heights, N.Y.[1] During the late 1970s, personal computers became more powerful, capable of drawing both basic and complex shapes and designs. In the 1980s, artists and graphic designers began to see the personal computer, particularly the Commodore Amiga and Macintosh, as a serious design tool, one that could save time and draw more accurately than other methods. 3D computer graphics became possible in the late 1980s with the powerful SGI computers, which were later used to create some of the first fully computer-generated short films at Pixar. The Macintosh remains one of the most popular tools for computer graphics in graphic design studios and businesses. Modern computer systems, dating from the 1980s and onwards, often use a graphical user interface (GUI) to present data and information with symbols, icons, and pictures, rather than text. Graphics are one of the five key elements of multimedia technology. 3D graphics became more popular in the 1990s in gaming, multimedia, and animation. In 1996, Quake, one of the first fully 3D games, was released. In 1995, Toy Story, the first full-length computer-generated animation film, was released in cinemas. Since then, computer graphics have become more accurate and detailed, due to more advanced computers and better 3D modeling software applications, such as Maya, 3D Studio Max, and Cinema 4D. Another use of computer graphics is screensavers, originally intended to prevent the layout of much-used GUIs from 'burning into' the computer screen. They have since evolved into true pieces of art, their practical purpose obsolete; modern screens are not susceptible to such artifacts. 0/100
"Look up a video review on TH-cam" TH-cam reviews have led me to buy games I haven't played more than 5 hours. People like gameranx are a big example of this. A lot of times the "before you buy" episodes come out quickly for the views so the review is skewed in favor of the game. Unless it's moist meter I can't really judge whether a game is good or not on TH-cam either.
I say the best way to see if you would be into a game is to look up gameplay. Not reviews, or story missions or anything, just base gameplay. Like how Metal Gear Solid 5 has those videos called "What (x) hours of Metal Gear Solid 5 looks like" or something like that.
counter point against looking up reviews on youtube: the one of the top reviews on youtube for boneworks is just horrendously bad made by someone who has never tried VR before and then proceeds to play a game with a disclaimer that it is only for "expert VR users"
I’m just going to say it. Art Style>>>>>>Graphics Like seriously, art style puts the character and charm into a game way more then graphics imo. It’s why I find games like Souls, Hollow Knight, Ori, Doom Eternal, HL2, and many, many more games so enduring.
Know a guy who said elden ring looked boring because the graphics were shit like what game are you looking at cause the art style of elden ring is so good
@@MarxistMogger For Reals. Sure, maybe it's not as graphically intense as something like TLOU2 or RDR2, but Elden Ring is straight up eye candy for me. Plus, it still has probably the best graphics in the entire series.
Dude.... finally someone who agrees with me, i play older titles because their gameplay is good or more cartoony stylised where graphics don't matter. the people who complain about the graphics looking bad and then complaining about the frame rate is fucking rude because the developers put alot of time and effort in every task to make it work with modern hardware without it bursting in flames, and those fuckers saying having 60 or over frames is important in games... stfu because your eyes can only see up to 30 so your forcing your computer to run double the frames than your brain will even process i as someone who has a dream to be a game developer would rather make a good (not god tier) looking game at 30 FPS than force every to 60 FPS and having 1500x2300 textures, having resolution sizes i understand because moniters come at different sizes and MHz but that "yOu HaVe To HaVe MoRe ThAn 60 FpS aNd 4K gRaPhIcS" need to shut up
I agree with everything except for FPS. There's times where, unlike graphics, it can actually effect gameplay. A perfect example is Mario & Luigi Dream Team, one of the best 3DS and RPG games ever in my opinion. But it's artificially brutal due to latency and it's 30FPS limitations. I actually can't beat the first final boss (There's three) because there's an attack where you have a half-second window where you need to deflect a magic orb. Said window is terribly telegraphed and even if you can guess the window, input latency will cause you to strike just a few frames too late. It sounds like im nitpicking but it's a really major issue with more then just one example. I too dream of being a game developer, and in my mind I vision an okay-Stylish looking game at a smooth 60 FPS. Even if it took extra time to optimize.
@@flameonoodle1172 FPS is very important more important than the "graphics" so seeing people kind of just tossing it aside bugs me the wrong way. Also this guy is really stupid because he said your eyes can only see 30 fps which is factually wrong, your eyes can see a lot more than 30. Not to mention games can look absolutely beautiful while running at 60 now in days we are not living in 2005.
Ima be honest reviews like the Baland Wonderland arent that bad. Like it's clear that with this game being hated to death a single clearly ironic review isnt that big of a deal
Bro I love Journey. You can’t even talk to the person you’re playing with but you form a better bond than anything COD has tried to do in their campaigns
People who complain about graphical fidelity are just on another level. Like honestly, Elden Ring is one of the best games I’ve ever played, and I would recommend it as a first souls-borne-sekiro experience. Because it’s general graphics are incredible, and the gameplay matches this perfectly. While people will struggle with bosses depending on the types of games and their difficulty, it is definitely a really good game that I’d recommend to anybody looking for a game they want to spend $60/€58 or whatever type of currency you’re looking to spend. And people bash it. And then there’s games like BF2042 which people shill for. I can understand it if you have nowhere else to go, but if you’re gonna call Elden Ring terrible but then do a 180 and say BF2042 is an infinitely better game because of *Graphical fidelity,* then you really need to rethink your criticism abilities.
That Balan bit though, I thought I was being generous giving it a 7 with a disclaimer that you're better off buying the ebook. But a 10? Really? They aren't even trying to hide that they were just trying to inflate the score.
When it comes to graphics in video games for me, looks can only take you so far, idc if your game has the most realistic detail ever to come out of the 21st century, if the core gameplay itself is utter rubbish then quite simply it's a bad game regardless of the graphic styling and quality.

Just gonna add the deltarune chapter 2 pixel missing, I personally think it’s a joke because people complained about it in chapter 1 when it launched. And knowing Toby and his funny thing called attention to detail it’s awesome. Love the vid btw
1:36 I remember being in that part of deltarune and I thought that black pixel was a little thing on my computer screen I then tried to clean it off for 2 minutes until I realized it was actually just a pixel there
0/10, The game is flawlessly designed and planned out. The story is amazing and the post-game content is fun as well. However, the graphics man, there was 1 pixel off on one of the sprites therefore I must give it a 0/10 and a slap in the face because yes. Basically Metacritic
I always thought the game journalist ratings were bad, but since two years or something people just give unreasonable ratings. Something like " game was fine, but I give it a 0 to balance out the good ones", what do you mean bro... Your actually rating would balance the rating because that is the intention of a combined rating score.
If you check fnaf security breach reviews on steam you can get a pretty good example of what this video refers to. If people weren't memeing around the reviews section and instead left an honest review, the game's review score would've probably been mixed instead. If you don't know why, watch Foekoe's vid on security breach or any other youtuber trying to play it casually.
Is the steam review good or bad? I cant open steam technical issues or something so i just wanted to ask if the steam reviews were good or bad? I assume the reviews rate it good because most people ive seen that played it thinks its more on the bad side
I want the ability to flag user reviewers and take them out of the scoring for all games viewed from my profile. Like if I could take anyone who gives RDR2, BotW, or Elden Ring below 80%, just automatically filter their reviews out for all other games because clearly their opinions are not valid to me. Just to set a baseline, so I can see what other people who liked RDR2 think of a new game. Really cut through the BS.
The problem with rating graphics when it comes to PC gamers is that graphics are completely subjective on a technical level. My gaming laptop is from 2015. It can run older games like _Fallout: New Vegas,_ _Metro 2033 Redux,_ and _BioShock Infinite_ on high settings and they look gorgeous, but any new games, like _Call of Duty: Vanguard,_ _Elden Ring,_ and _The Last of Us Part II,_ couldn't run even on the lowest settings without stuttering and pixelation. That's why I think a lot of the reviewers who skewer graphics are from people with graphics cards that simply can't handle newer games.
I never listen to metacritics these days and only read long steam reviews from people who bought it. I do not trust anyone who only watched the game and never actually experienced it themselves.
Also, I do understand your thoughts on Part II, I frankly despise it because of the toxic side of the TLOU fandom and how they believe their game should be the only one that should exist
hey can I have an example of that... cause like, i thought the game was pretty chill and the amount of bullshit I've been called just for defending it seems to ha e much more a scale than its own toxic fandom... also like genuine question, how can you despise a game for its fandom...?
@@teacooper6485 if you need a major example, look for the tweet where someone states that Ellie went through the most pain in the history of entertainment
@@nihilegojelly7747 yea okay fair point, I'm definitely not gonna redownload twitter to go look at part 2 discourse but you still didn't answer my question about how the fandom effects the game's values itself, or the fact that the majority of the 'discourse' around the game is bigotry and incels telling people to off themselves
@@teacooper6485 it's less "fandom bad so thing bad" and more "I want to distance myself from these weirdos as much as possible, therefore I won't like what they like". Or at least I think it is.

Summary
The Electro Dragon is the 13th troop unlocked in the Barracks.
Strategy
Offensive
The Electro Dragon has a short range.
Defensive
For the lightning arc to chain, buildings must be spaced one tile apart at most.
Upgrade Differences
The Electro Dragon undergoes significant visual changes at only level 4 and 5.

There are two types of computer graphics: raster graphics, where each pixel is separately defined (as in a digital photograph), and vector graphics, where mathematical formulas are used to draw lines and shapes, which are then interpreted at the viewer's end to produce the graphic.

TH-cam reviews have led me to buy games I haven't played more than 5 hours. People like gameranx are a big example of this. Dude.... finally someone who agrees with me, i play older titles because their gameplay is good or more cartoony stylised where graphics don't matter. the people who complain about the graphics looking bad and then complaining about the frame rate is fucking rude because the developers put alot of time and effort in every task to make it work with modern hardware without it bursting in flames, and those fuckers saying having 60 or over frames is important in games... stfu because your eyes can only see up to 30 so your forcing your computer to run double the frames than your brain will even process
i as someone who has a dream to be a game developer would rather make a good (not god tier) looking game at 30 FPS than force every to 60 FPS and having 1500x2300 textures, having resolution sizes i understand because moniters come at different sizes and MHz but that "yOu HaVe To HaVe MoRe ThAn 60 FpS aNd 4K gRaPhIcS" need to shut up
I agree with everything except for FPS.
"the graphics were bad" Whoever writes that problably put their graphics on low and just did the "my pc being bad must not be the issue"

“Undertale, the graphics are awful”
proceeds to show deltarune footage
Oh my, how surprising. Foekoe released another video about being disappointed by something. Still the greatest commentary channel tho 👍
Everyone remember, absolutely nothing happened in the backrooms on February 17, 2022
Well, at least metacritic warned me about hello neighbour... unfortunately I didn't listen, because I thought metacritic was dumb

Metacritic users: Better graphics people, better graphics.
Foekoe's rly stepping up the thumbnails lately
thanks for the Isaac recommendati 250 hours in rn and loving it!
“Undertale has bad graphics” it’s PIXEL ART.
Some people can't differ art style from realism. Not every game is meant to look real
do people not understand the difference between actual bad graphics? and art style?
That Balan bit though, I thought I was being generous giving it a 7 with a disclaimer that you're better off buying the ebook. But a 10? Really? They aren't even trying to hide that they were just trying to inflate the score.
When it comes to graphics in video games for me, looks can only take you so far, idc if your game has the most realistic detail ever to come out of the 21st century, if the core gameplay itself is utter rubbish then quite simply it's a bad game regardless of the graphic styling and quality.
I feel the exact same about There is no game: Wrong Dimension, it was worth way more than the price of $15
Summary
The Electro Dragon is the 13th troop unlocked in the Barracks.
Strategy
Offensive
The Electro Dragon has a short range.
Defensive
For the lightning arc to chain, buildings must be spaced one tile apart at most.
Upgrade Differences
The Electro Dragon undergoes significant visual changes at only level 4 and 5.

This video was horrible, the graphics were so bad!
Just gonna add the deltarune chapter 2 pixel missing, I personally think it’s a joke because people complained about it in chapter 1 when it launched. And knowing Toby and his funny thing called attention to detail it’s awesome. Love the vid btw
All the graphics critism games had great graphics
Especially dread which can be played in HANDHELD and Celeste had great graphics too

0/10, The game is flawlessly designed and planned out. The story is amazing and the post-game content is fun as well. However, the graphics man, there was 1 pixel off on one of the sprites therefore I must give it a 0/10 and a slap in the face because yes.
Basically Metacritic
When I saw the thumb nail my brain thoug M&M’s
I always thought the game journalist ratings were bad, but since two years or something people just give unreasonable ratings. Something like " game was fine, but I give it a 0 to balance out the good ones", what do you mean bro... Your actually rating would balance the rating because that is the intention of a combined rating score.
A new game releases
Metacritic: graphics?
The review said tf2 bad graphics :(
Foekoe likes Journey this is an epic gamer moment
If you check fnaf security breach reviews on steam you can get a pretty good example of what this video refers to. If people weren't memeing around the reviews section and instead left an honest review, the game's review score would've probably been mixed instead. If you don't know why, watch Foekoe's vid on security breach or any other youtuber trying to play it casually.
Is the steam review good or bad? I cant open steam technical issues or something so i just wanted to ask if the steam reviews were good or bad? I assume the reviews rate it good because most people ive seen that played it thinks its more on the bad side

Can't wait for a Metacritic user to see their first child for the first time and say the graphics look bad.
If you rate a game based on it’s graphics your opinion doesn’t count.
2:10 minor spelling mistake.
I win.
4:37 That noise was so cute
I'm glad your reviewing metacritic

Can we just respect that this guy nearly 100%-ed the entire Angry Birds og trilogy
@@nihilegojelly7747 yea okay fair point, I'm definitely not gonna redownload twitter to go look at part 2 discourse
but you still didn't answer my question about how the fandom effects the game's values itself, or the fact that the majority of the 'discourse' around the game is bigotry and incels telling people to off themselves
@@teacooper6485 it's less "fandom bad so thing bad" and more "I want to distance myself from these weirdos as much as possible, therefore I won't like what they like". Or at least I think it is.
