I enjoy this one from time to time. You are right, many aromatics do not contain Latakia, but English Aromatics often do. My favourite being Bengal Slices - do you know it? It is rich in Latakia, strong but aromatic. Once made here in Britain, it's now made in America by Russ Oulette. Do give it a go. I have to buy it from the US, but if you ever wanted a sample, do ask me. My Meerschaum from Altinay is delayed, because he is at Chicago, then after that there is a national holiday in Turkey. Very much enjoy your videos, Nathan. My best regards, Nathaniel
@TheVapingPiper I was toying with the idea of buying a Savinelli Bings Favorite, but was told by someone I trust that stem splitting can be an issue with this pipe. So, a Clark's Favorite might be a good alternative as I like bent churchwardens. Thank you!
Thank you for your review! This is the second one with a more than favorable take so I ended up ordering two tins. I don't smoke a lot so a tin will usually last me several weeks. That being said, I'm hoping this ages nicely. Cheers!
Enjoy it. It does actually age well. I enjoy this blend so much I now smoke it on social occasions so I don’t get too used to the delicious flavours, if that makes sense to you😀
European aromatics are somewhat different than the Americans . The natural leaf nuances are never masked and the topping is delicate and my opinion enhances the natural flavours. Give it a go Mark you might be pleasantly surprised.
Good Evening 😊 Sounds like a good tobacco 👏🏼 Thanks for the description and the review 👍🏼 Appreciate you sharing your thoughts on the blend🤙🏼 Have a great day and Happy smoking 🌬💨💨 Greetings from South Africa 🇿🇦
Sounds like a nice smoke. Have you tried "Molto dolce" by Sutliff? It's a beautiful aromatic blend of burley, Virginia, and black Cavendish. It's flavoured with vanilla, caramel and honey. It's my favourite tobacco to date. It smokes beautifully and it tastes and smells irresistible! I highly recommend it if you like aromatic tobacco.
This blend is one of my favourite aromatics including the HU RaiKo In Between, which is a bit heavier on the latakia but with a lovely rich chocolate flavour which is very moreish. I lit a bowl with the GH Bob's flake while watching your video, Very enjoyable smoking session it was Nathan😊 One more plus, Beth loves the room note 😂 Regards. Daniel
That is nice knowing you enjoyed the same blend with me😊 btw Daniel you are the 2nd one who suggested the HU Raiko l am happy to tell you that i will try the HU in due course perhaps we will smoke it together one day. Take care & regards to Beth.
An aromatic with Latakia? Yes, i had a tin of something similar. The HU Raiko Inbetween - 50% Latakia, Virginia, Burley, Black Cavendish and a decent cocoa flavour. I bought a lot of Samuel Gawith tobaccos back in 2019/20 and then they disappeared from the market for a few years. I’m not sure i bought the CF flake too. I have to look in my cellar 🙂 and im not sure if it’s similar to the Gawith & Hoggarth CF flake Regards Michael
@@TheVapingPiperThe Raiko was my first meet with Latakia at beginning of pipe smoking - i enjoyed it very much 🙂 and i’m sure you will taste the Latakia there 😄

Thanks Nathan, not enamoured with most aromatics that I've tried, but a there is a few I do like and this may be one of those worth sampling.
