- I just love the rusticated rich wine wood grain and the gorgeous multi coloured acrylic stem which represents Italian red wine. To me, this pipe represents the Italian flair & passion in pipe making to the full.
Pipe description:
The primary feature of a Pot is its broad tobacco chamber, and the Savinelli "316 KS" certainly fulfills that purpose. Particularly wide at the top, the chamber is conical, aligning with the shaping of the bowl, while the lithe shank and stem combination adds tasteful elegance through its curve. It's a remarkably organic interpretation, offering a sweeping heel and softly rounded rim, and all with a subtle forward momentum to keep things lively.
Savinelli's Vigna series presents a striking assortment of rich, alluring hues that are evocative of Italy's storied wine culture. The stummel is dressed here in a rich, burgundy rustication, and it is paired to a striking acrylic stem that swims with purple, maroon, and white hues, covering the full spectrum of colorful wine varietals. Furthermore, the stummel and stem meet at an elegant, gold-hued accent band, imbuing the composition's rustic and earthy palette with a chic flourish.

I love thick walled pipes, and that’s a beauty. I bet the texture feels great in hand, too.
Yes it does feel lovely😊Thanks for your feedback

Absolutely beautiful pipe, Nathan, my friend!! it suits you very well. Be blessed. Have a wonderful week. John a.k.a. SnaponJohn100.
Thank you John. Wonderful week to you too
Hello Nathan!
The Vigna is beautiful. I would love to buy one too but i already have enough Savinellis (if this is even possible 😄)
I have a 316 EX rusticated Tundra series with a polished rim. The color of the pipe and the mouthpiece are lovely and the handling is still perfect - even with a little bigger bowl than the KS series. Nothing is out of proportion.
Almost all Savinelli pipes are to my liking….the shapes, the colurs, rusticated, brushed or polished - the Italians definitely have a magic touch for design….and fair prices.
While i watching this video i do smoke a Savinelli 616 EX Mega. When it comes to big bowls - this is the top. Combined with a shorter stem than regular i would call it a nosewarmer 😄
Regards
Michael

Very nice, what a beauty!
Those wide shallow pot shapes are superb and beautifully proportioned in my opinion and offer the perfect smoke time with flakes. I love my Tortuga 305
Thanks Mark. Yes I agree perfect for flake cut. Enjoy your Tortuga 305 which is gorgeous
Beautiful pipe. I just bought a couple of Savinelli pipes and need to start breaking them in. I really appreciate your videos. Thank you.

🤔
I have a Savinelli 673ks (love it), a Peterson 306 (love it), and just bought a Rossi 8316 for the exact same reasons you site in this 316 video. However, I HATE the way the 8316 smokes. It literally will not stay lit...tried different filters, no filter. I have given up on it. It will not even draw the flame down from my zippo regular or zippo pipe inserts. I do not know what is wrong with my 8316...looks amazing but smokes like shit
I had to search on google to know what is the Rossi 8316😀 it does look a similar shape to the Savinelli 316. I wonder why it is not smoking well🤔maybe someone who has some knowledge on the rossi can give some advice. The Savinelli 316 smokes wonderfully and I will post a video me smoking it with a delicious blend in due time.
Oh wow, Nathan! I have a few Savinellis, but not heard of the Vigna. Did you buy it from Britain or abroad? I don't know what to buy first; a Vigna or the Meerschaum from Turkey? The obvious choice is BOTH! A really attractive pipe. Do tell me where you got it. Many thanks and regards, Nathaniel
I mentioned it during the video, I got mine from Cgarsltd in the UK. If you ask my opinion Nathaniel, if you don’t have a good quality Block Meerschaum go for a Altinay Meerschaum Pipe. The logic is simple, Briar pipes (design aside) deliver a similar smoking experience more or less but a meerschaum experience is different and do not need breaking in to fully enjoy your blend, it is definitely worth experimenting with. You can always buy a Savinelli if you wish in the future.
