This is great!! And seriously sooo accurate 🙌 I started taking a magnesium supplement 1 week before my period last month because I had had a chronic headache for 2 months, and even though it didn't help with the headache I did have my first period without taking pain medication 😍 Which is insane seeing I've used pain medication on my period for about 15 years 🤯
I found vitex two weeks (one morning, one night, 28 total) before my period helped the most of all things. My very extreme PMS is now non existent. It took three months to see the effects, but it's literally a life saver.
For more environmentally friendly period products period underwear is the BEST. Started wearing a year ago and have never looked back. I do also have reusable pantyliners.
I read the book "Cure" by Morley Robbins and learnt that we're all in iron overload from lifestyle, fortified foods, water and so on. The nutrient we actually need to utilize iron in the right way is copper! copper is so essential! i eat it in forms of bee pollen, whole food vit-C (camu camu, berries...), oysters and grass fed beef liver :)
Hi Meghan! I was so glad to stumble across this video as I’ve always rough periods. The tips you’ve provided are super helpful and I will be implementing them. I will be trying the natural brand of tampons/pads you’ve recommended however they do contain less product and are more expensive understandably then conventional products. Do you know of any reusable/washable pad brands that you’ve tried and had success with that you’d recommend as well? Thank you so much and I appreciate your time. 😊
Yes, A nutritionist prescribed me something called CalmX, which is a magnesium supplement, and it aids you body in having a healthy stress response which can lower cortisol levels, but is also good for your muscles
I love your videos! Could you please make a video for bloating and gas or abdominal pain. I tried so many things and consulted Doctors but it didn't help at all. It will be a great help for people out there like me who is suffering from these kinda pain.❤❤🙏
This is the best video i have ever seen , oh my god it was like i am talking about my problems , it was so accurate and soooo relatable. The tips are amazinggggg you made my day girl, big big thanks and love to you.
Great idea for a video! I'm surprised that ginger is actually good on periods, because I've struggled with heavy nose bleedings in the past and was advised to stay away from it, so I thought it makes EVERY bleeding worse 😂
I have been using the diva cup for over 5 years and then I have some reusable liners I got off of etsy. I am 7 months pregnant and really hope I can still use my cup once I get my period back!
Your videos have been helping me a lot with my anxiety. Every time I get overwhelmed or need a break from social media, I come here and immediately feel calmer. Your content really helps people out. Thank you 🤍
So confused about caffeine now. Why does over the counter period medication (midol) containe caffeine? I’ve always heard that caffeine is supposed to relieve cramping.
Caffeine doesn't help cramps and can actually make cramps worse for some women. Midol has caffeine for the fatigue and as a diuretic to help reduce bloating.
Not saying that eco friendly pads etc ain't to be used but when I started using biodegradable pads, I got a severe allergic reaction cause' they weren't as good in absorbing the blood as the cellulose ones. So be mindful n careful about what does n doesn't suit your body.
Hey Manisha, we're sorry to hear this was your experience - were you using Natracare at the time? As our products don't contain Super Absorbent Polymers (SAPs) which often promote wearing pads for longer than is hygienic, we do recommend changing pads every 4-6 hours to avoid irritation. We hope this might be useful for you!
Love your video but when you mentioned soothing foods and what they were I'm like " girl Lau Lau is my soothing food 😂". I do need to work on myself a lot. Going through mood swings right now. So tired right now.
I hope you find a way to improve it all. If it helps I've found my period pain so much improved with time and after having babies. Also the fitter I am the better. I have no idea why, but my period woes bothered me the least when I was training for a half marathon. I definately cant keep that level of fitness up though, but it was an interesting observation.
I did too, but then I found out I had different food allergies. When I stopped eating gluten and reduced lactose products, it instantly went down to very doable.
Natracare never sticks to my underwear lol it literally fell out of my pajamas a couple of times when I got out of bed and it's as hard as cardboard lolol.. atleast its organic :p If i find a better one, I'll update!
I started wearing period underwear and have never looked back. If I need extra absorbency which isn’t often (just like when I’m at work and I don’t want to chance having a leak, which I actually have never had) I have reusable pads.
Oh, I really hated Natracare. My Kroger just started carrying Cora brand which I personally think are way better and the adhesive is like gorilla glue. 😂

Be amazing if you could do a more in depth video on PCOS, balancing hormones or a typical day of eating for pcos. Thanks for another great video.

Hi Meghan I'm 71 years old where were you when I had my periods they were bad ones I could use this information back then❤

Fit Tuber recommends getting moonlight for PCOS per Aryveda. Pretty cool moonlight for overall feminine health.
Thanks for this. I'm going through a possible endo diagnosis and I'm trying to deal with the issues without BC.

Do you recommend take prenatal supplements due they have iron, magnesium, and so on?

I have bloating I don't know the reason and my period became irregular can U help
Love your video but when you mentioned soothing foods and what they were I'm like " girl Lau Lau is my soothing food 😂". I do need to work on myself a lot. Going through mood swings right now. So tired right now.
What about hormonal acne ?
Doesn't taking iron and Magnesium at the same time contradicht each other? I think I may have heard that somewhere...
Thanks Women
can these tips work for PCOS too 🥺
What about a prolonged period? I will see a doctor hopefully soon enough.
Are you taking clients?
I find the thing that helps me the most is a hot bath or shower. Plus maybe a little chocolate too :D
I was just in an accident and my period is coming and i am so afraid it will be painful. I do have pain now everywhere
Watching this even though I’m pregnant 😂
When I have my period I need an epidural. Yeah that’s how bad it is.
Mine too
Ugh I'm sorry to hear that :( That is the worst! I've had extremely painful cramps before too.
I find that using a heating pad helps.

Week before it's loose stool 😂 and week of I'm constipated.
Lol same...

If you quit once, it becomes a habit. Never quit.
