Gotta love when your audience is almost a fandom. The crowd participation at all of their shows is wild. I got too see them twice way back in the day and the energy was incredible. I’ve never been less bothered crammed up against a crowd of people.
I recently got back into them after like 15 years and listened to The Afterman for the first time. Holy shit! Evigra is maybe one of my favorite songs of theirs and I absolutely fell in love with their first 3 albums. One of the few consistently awesome bands.
@@jdmmike7225 they are one of those bands that don't miss. I'd also argue that The Dear Hunter, Bayside, Polyphia, Streetlight Manifesto, and Their Dogs Were Astronauts are the same, in that I can't find a song by any of those bands that don't slap. Even Mogwai, if you are into relaxing mostly instrumental post-rock.
@@enjoybrad81 oh the afterman is amazing I love the big kick snare in away we go after the spacey beeping intro. Damn I'm so happy Josh is back as the drummer he really makes them something special. Idk the only album or albums (I can't remember) that I don't absolutely love are the ones without Josh Eppard. But they are still great albums I'm just saying, the drummer really makes a difference in a band.
Took me like 15 years to finally appreciate this band. Tried to get into them many times and never really clicked until I had listened to enough of their work in various states of mind and was able to appreciate the act as an entire unit rather than any one particular song piece. Now I'm a complete fan I can't get enough of them, originally despised them due to the vocals.
I absolutely love these guys. They remind me of opeth for the facts that they can pull off soooo many different styles. Every album is vastly different bro. He pushes the limits of progressive instumentally and has a amazing way of using his voice. They have a shit ton of music too. over 11 albums i believe now or something.. So glad you did this. Hope to see more my guy :) Claudio has very unique and high voice but he also can sound like a demon on the drop of a dime. its wild. One of my favorite screams. The end complete lll is a good one. And Gravemakers and Gunslingers
hope you do the final cut. its 13 minutes or so of just jamming live. 30 seconds of vocal than just awesome guitar solos and plays with a violin bow. As a musician its highly impressive. @@UntitledtotheGrave
I really appreciate you listening to this album/live. It is very underappreciated.
