I have the Desert Eagle branded 1911 Government made by Bul Armory and its never let me down. Don't know what current prices are but at the time it was slightly cheaper than the Ruger 1911.

Did not expect that. I agreed with spacing them, to prevent the globes from slamming against each other. But clearly, they were actually supporting each other. Spacing more than doubled the effectiveness of a bullet. Wow!

There have been some spectacular shots that would have benefited from super slow motion. Now I do understand those cameras are insanely expensive, especially to get one to do the kind of stuff you would need with bullets, but maybe a company out there can donate one for 10 or 20 years. Lol!

@@timcarter1164 from what I've gathered by watching Matt here, he is far from poor. Stuff like a barret, lynx and the M2 are horrendously expensive, as is the ammo. Matt can most likely afford a high-speed camera.

I really like this 1911! I just wish it had ambidextrous safeties. But I would probably change some springs, put on a compensator and shoot 45 Super or 450SMC, or get a 460 Rowland kit and just go balls out!

We shoot snow globes from time to time among other things from dollar tree and thrift stores. Some of the best things you can get that are reusable are the bathtub toys like rubber ducky that are that soft rubber. They fly like hell and self heal like the expensive targets. Most of the time you can get a whole bag of them for a dollar or two.
Those snow globes in the beginning are nightmare fuel
