Constipation:
• Sometimes children purposely avoid passing stools
• Stool becomes dry if it stays for too long in the body
• It's painful to pass such stool
Symptoms to look for:
• Difficulty in passing stools
• Pain while passing stools
• Nausea
• Abdominal pain
• Vomiting
• Lack of appetite
Causes:
• Eating less
• Dehydration
• Erratic meal timings
• Inadequate water consumption
Natural home remedy using lemon and salt:
1. Take 1 glass lukewarm water
2. Add 3 tbsp lemon juice
3. Add 1 tsp salt
4. Mix well
5. Give this to the child on an empty stomach
Natural home remedy using isabgol:
1. Take 1 glass warm water
2. Add 1 tbsp isabgol, an ayurvedic herb
3. Mix well
4. Give this to the child at bedtime
5. This regulates the digestive system
Natural home remedy using fennel seed powder:
1. Take 1 glass warm water
2. Add ½ tsp fennel seed powder
3. Mix well
4. Give this to the child at bedtime
Tips:
• Take your child for a brief walk after dinner
• Ensure that the child drinks enough water through the day
• Include wholesome grains, green vegetables, fruits and nuts in your child's daily diet

I was wanting a way to help my kids without giving them drugs and you just gave this to me... all the other videos and doctors I contacted wanted me to give my kids laxatives for days to make them completely empty their bowels then retrain them...Since I also suffer from constipation I know how painful that would be and refused to do it to my kids. My granddaughter drinks water and eats a lot of fruits and veggies but she gets extremely constipated to the point of crying and cramping for days before she passes the stool. She has gone to specialists and the medicine they give her has not worked. We have tried suppositories which also rarely work. We have tried several other home remedies and at 3 she continues to have this problem. She is extremely active and normally happy but when she gets constipated which is often she suffers a lot. Is there anything else that we can try that she will actually do or drink at 3 years old. We have tried dark Karo syrup and hot tea as well. Is there a specific hot tea that might help her
